Hey buddy this gen Jetta except for the GTIs and the TDIs have torsion/twisted beam suspension in the rear right not independent which was the case with mk5 ?
Hello Sr, can you tell me where i can find a fuse for those lights? i checked with a multimeter and i have no voltage, reverse light works good when is set :(
It has a BCM. If it detects incorrect power draw, it will stop sending power to the socket. I tested this by putting the wrong bulb in with a much higher amperage rating. It flashed twice, then turned it off, showed the bulb outage indicator on the dash, and would not illuminate the bulb again.
This guy know how to teach. The best video for this VW JETTA rear light replacement project. Thank you.
AGREED👏
Very helpful cheers pal

Lovely
Will a 5007 bulb fit that spot instead of the 5008?
Why not replace all the other bulbs that work?

I replaced the bulbs and checked the mother board but the light still won’t work any advice ?
Check your fuses. If you have a voltmeter check at the light to see if you are missing power or if you have a bad ground.
