Hey guys, in this video we will show you how to remove and replace not working tail light bulb, rear part light bulb, rear turn signal light bulb, and brake light bulb on VW Jetta mk6. This should cover the whole generation. Some models might differ. Do not risk to get pulled over for a bulb. It is easy to replace it yourself.

I installed led ones in the reverse light but now I have a warning light how do I get rid of warning light
Christian Rios you are not suppose to use led on standard jetta tail lights without putting a resistor in the wiring. I would look into that more before catching your car on fire or blowing a million fuses

I just did it on my 13' MK6 GLI autobahn, hardly took any time at all. Pretty sure its the same with all the MK6 jettas.
The big one is the reverse light, what about the Brake light?
Its the additional brake light. Its a generic "Mini Bulb"
You can't simply change any bulb, If not the emergency light will appear on your speedo meter =(
