    Pro Tip: when in the menu system press SHIFT while turning the value knob to quickly jump through the major setting categories. This is especially great for choosing instruments since you can quickly SHIFT-scroll to the group first (SNARES, or say PERCUSSION) and then just scroll within the group. This works in most of the menus: utility, instrument, etc.

    Thanks a lot, later in the video you say that you can preview a sample with the "sample" button. But i did not see in the video confirmed what is the actual way to confirm a sample load in. Is it start and stop? because that's what you did with the super low OP1 synth.

    When you put a sample on your SD card does it have to be a specific file type, for example wav. Or are other file types supported?

    I have kits on an SD card, am I able to load them and save them over kit numbers I don't want, how does that work, and does clearing the step storage buttons of their default patterns remove the kit and pattern for that storage?

      @@choppedstrandaudio4561 all good have hounded enough knowledge now and sort of got it dialed in, only thing is buggin me is the optimising for ableton on Windows USB not ideal as I use other interfaces and asio is fun.... But will get it dialed in even more as I trial and error, but getting there, and your series has helped me loads, so firm handshakes for that indeed

      I had another go this weekend and what I do is I exchange the old kit I don't want with the new one I want to import. It works pretty good. Utility>Exchange

      He didn't mentioned in the beginning that you have to format the mem-card first via the tr8s

    I am trying to import .wav samples that I purchased from a techno musician on bandcamp. When I go to import from the SD card it says not file supported and so will not import any of the samples I want. DO you know what could be happening?

    • @jumaikingmusic
      @jumaikingmusic หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably a wrong bit size. WAV comes in 16, 24, 32 Bits. The TR8S works with 24 bits. Try and convert your samples to the right bit size. I haven't checked this, but it was the same for my Boss RC-505MKII

    Does it ever happen that you correctly import the sample, but it isn’t playing? I don’t know how to fix this problem

    • @jayhatchy4413
      @jayhatchy4413 ปีที่แล้ว

      Might be the sample length u have to set it to play over how ever many steps u want. In my case i imported a 2/3 sec perc loop and wanted the whole loop to play over the 16 steps in time so it would keep looping but it kept decaying before the end of the loop, setting the length of the sample fixed this
