      It feels like such a wonderful feeling, with the entire digital Layout. These amazing Instruments, and soon to be focused soft ware for certain units. Roland, Akai Pro and Pioneer I decided to invest in. The Aira releases and subsequent projects by AKAI and Pioneer, I am really looking forward to now, and tomorrow.

    TR-8S. Best drum machine ever. Glad I got mine--this thing is going to be as legendary as the earlier drum machines, which themselves fetch nearly $10,000 on the used market.

    • @cesarq6011
      @cesarq6011 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So does this editor is a vst you can drag into a midi track in your daw? Or do we still have to record via our interface to get the sound/kits out of it?

      Don't know much about it myself yet, but I'm assuming it's simply a GUI that works alongside your hardware to simplify the workflow--menu diving is real on the TR-8S and this software would make things a lot faster.
      If it were a VST, I could see it demanding several hundred dollars over "free."

    The software does amplify the functionality of the TR-8S hardware. If could be more user-friendly if the software also showed the current Pattern and Kit numbers in the top-left main display. I also agree with other comments from users about showing the step play position in the overall Pattern view. This would be great visual integration if the play position on the device was followed in the software.

    I've become very impressed with this product since the FM and software editor updates. Very tempted to buy now. I think it would be cool if the next version or the TR-8S as laid out more like the editor Overall Tab 1:26 - an extra row of knobs for Inst Fx and scribble strip displays under the control and inst fx and the name of the instrument / sample chosen to give instant visual feedback.
    A next level TR8s would look like the INST Tabs in the editor 6:33 with dedicated knobs for everything and a scribble strip displays. It would be very expensive but incredibly amazing and definitely worth it.

The resolution does not fit my screen, cutting the entire bottom part containing the motion editor off. And the sliders keep sticking. Then I have pull down menus that won't pull down. Once that happens the whole application freezes up soon after.
    As I stated earlier, I love this application and am very grateful for it. Hopefully Roland has been made aware of these bugs.
