Pearl was made in The Reef where all pearls are made. Pearl was MADE by white diamond, FOR pink diamond. She was given to pink diamond because after enough bad treatment from other diamonds, pink had had another breakdown do to her “screams that could break the walls” and her original pink pearl, now known as Volleyball, had gotten scarred and cracked. Volleyball went to white diamond where white diamond made her a “gem zombie” due to white diamonds power. Whilst saying this I have realized that white diamond had not ever had a pearl in the first place due to the fact she was always staying in her giant mech head. When pink diamond was given Pearl, white diamond had said “don’t go breaking this one” as to say, I hope you learned your lesson. After some time pink diamond had an ‘other half’ which was Rose. Rose was pink diamond and pink diamond is Rose because she wanted to rebel against the diamonds and start the rebellion. I think you all know the rest...

I think they set such an inexperienced zircon to defend rose quartz, so she wouldn't have a fair trial and for sure lose the case. Why else would they put such a young gem in the defense of a case as important as the shattering of a diamond?

I don't know if anyones mentioned this yet but typically a gem that belongs to a diamond is shown to have their gem in the same place as their diamond. Pearls gem is on her forehead like white diamonds. I 100% believe that our pearl belonged to white diamond.

What I heard is that pink pearl (the one with the cracked eye) was originally pink diamonds first pearl and they would have a lot of fun together but one time they had too much fun and ended up causing a big scene so the diamonds took pinks pearl away and white diamond took control of pink pearls mind, after a long time pink diamond was given another pearl (the crystal gem one) who was made to keep pink diamond out of trouble and that is why she could never make pink diamond happy until she told her to transform into rose quartz where they finally had fun together because pearl broke out of who she was made to be

Yeah, she even said she wasn’t built for fighting. Even though she said this in regards to Connie the whole episode was her projecting the relationship between Connie and Seteven to Pearl and Rose so most of her lines towards Connie double more towards Pearl herself. Plus she studied along side knights. The powers she had were more than likely discovered on her own time, like how she can make physical copies of herself even though they are unintelligent but still deadly, how Bismuth mentions that her laser power was one Pearl discovered after her time. Pearl is more than likely entirely self taught with maybe some help from Rose.
Fair enough, Ivystar. It’s still odd to think that any Pearl would be assigned with as much power as an executioner though. As gems meant to be completely subservient and inferior to all others, giving one the literal power to end the life of a gem that’s significantly higher than them would be a huge power imbalance, especially for a species that values strict order.

Technically white is not a color it's a combination of all colors. This would explain why pearl was white diamonds pearl she contains all of the colors of every diamond and displays them in her outfits.

That's a good point but actually black is the absence of color or no color at all, the way color works or how the human eye sees it. Every color an object that isn't absorbed is reflected into the eye thus are brains interprets that as the color of that object. So white is no color being reflected all are being absorbed but black is all the colors being reflected.

Pearl was my first favorite until I learned more about Garnet.
What if Stevens mom was actually pink diamond, that is why you don’t see her on the flashback and that is why you never see pink diamonds pearl because our pearl is the pearl quartz’s used. And when quartz gave up her lifeform for Steven a rumor began that the diamond was shattered by quartz probably since she was the last see before the disappearance of pink diamond.
According to The Trial, Pink Diamond's entire court witnessed "Rose Quartz" suddenly come up and shatter Pink Diamond as the latter stepped off her palanquin, apparently stabbed in the front with a sword. This wasn't a "poof"-what-happened-kind of act, but one meant to be seen.

I think pearl had the power to "Video" or show what happened during a trial. She uses her gem in a projector kind of way like in Rose's scabbard when she makes Rose appear by using a hologram. So, seeing how Yellow Pearl writes down what happens and Blue Pearl draws. Then It would make sense to have had a video of the trail. This is just my theory, but I do agree with some of your points.

I can agree to our "defective" pearl being an executioner for the court with all her skills, the debate of who pearl really belongs to due to her color scheme is still up in the air with her tinted pink or white hair and skin as much it may be crazy, pearl's physical form still gives bits of color of all the diamonds, meaning perhaps she served in the royal court with her skill as executioner. Besides her physical form having color schemes from all the diamonds, Pearl may be "defective" because she possesses as few personality traits of the diamonds from her combat skills and her intelligence to her emotions and reasoning, I think that pearl was given to pink to be a "nanny" to mature pink so she could eventually command her own colony.

I don’t know if someone already made a theory on this if anything someone had to of but I’m not sure. Anyway ok look at yellow and blue pearl and now look at the diamonds yellow and blue. The pearls gem is in the somewhat same spot as the diamonds. Even looking at pink pearl she has her gem in the same spot as pink. So why is our pearl have her gem on her forehead? It makes it kind of obvious that the pearls gem corresponds to whoever the pearl works fors gem. Or at least who she originally worked for. So was pearl technically working for white diamond before or maybe during pink diamonds time as pink diamond. Until they became closer maybe.
I really like this theory. Actually, I like anything that has to do with Pearl being White Diamond's. The role of the executioner seems fitting.
You know, Pearl is quickly becoming my favorite character. I mostly like Garnet, but it was probably out of habit since Garnet is a cool character and my birthstone is a ruby. I've been more invested with Pearl since she's the one main character with the most mysteries. She more interesting because we know so little whereas Garnet isn't quite a mystery at all; much of the mystery behind Garnet dissipated from Jail Break on. I guess that's why I was so irked by Gemcation using her as means to get Steven to reveal his girl troubles. My lack of patience for more character development has been stacking because it's taking gradually longer to see new episodes and more teases keep coming with them. Arguably though, watching the episodes back-to-back post release would actually show proper pacing. I just hate that the air date schedule is so awful.

I mean it makes sense. Think about her emotions too. In battle she’s calm and collected with her eye on the prize, if it means protecting the ones she loves it’s a no brainer for her. I could see that same attitude translating to that kind of life style, especially if we look at younger pearl and how she acted towards people. It would also make sense for white diamond to have the most lethal pearl. Which now that pearl is gone I wouldn’t be surprised if pink pearl was trained to fight like her (at least to the point of still being controllable)

This one's a little too far out.
I think Pearl only ever picked up combat in an effort to better serve Rose Quartz, who probably inspired Pearl to rebel in the first place. I think she was a simple servant Pearl for someone higher up, and while on Earth she was likely intrigued by a new beautiful and kind Rose Quarzt who got the idea in her head that there was more to their lives than just what they were programmed for. I also believe her reason for picking up so many different types of weapons simply has to do with her know-it-all attitude.
Pearl belonging to a Diamond fits more with the evidence we got from the trial episodes. We know Pearl get seriously flustered whenever the subject of Pinks shattering is brought up, and with Zircons accusation that Rose Quartz could have never gotten close enough to attack Pink Diamond, it makes it probable that the one who actually took Pink out was Pearl with a surprise attack ((and judging by Eyeballs statement, she may have even shape shifted into Rose quartz, which would also work with the fact that Pearl hates to shapeshift)). To be fair, it could have also been the Diamond in question that did it, but given all we've seen from Pearl so far, I think the Diamond killer is a red herring.
I can't say pearl was a simple servant. Rubies are simple, quartz gems although powerful were simple made to take orders and fight I would also label agate as simple as well. Peridot, sapphire and even lapis aren't simple they are duel purposed.
Pearl has way too many abilities which were probably out of necessity (bend sand, control clouds) just to be considered a simple servant. It would make sense that older gems had more responsibilities at the time. Look at peridots (who acted as certified kindergarteners) are relatively new gems and they also do tech maintenance etc.
So let's look at white diamond from what we can gather she is hardy and probably a battle worn veteran. Any pearl who is going to be by white diamonds side would have to be tough and basically sturdy. I can imagine pearl insecurities or feeling worthless would stem from not being able to keep up with white diamond in this regard.

I don't believe your theory is right.
Yes our current Pearl is very powerful and well versed in combat, but there have been several scenes in the show in which Pearl truly felt like she was "just a Pearl", a servant, not good enough.
If she was supposed to be so powerful from the beginning she the whole "strong in the real way" thing etc. wouldn't make any sense. Plus I believe in "do it for her/him" the "deep down you know you were'd built for fighting" part refers to Pearl herself. She wasn't built to fight, let alone shatter gems, but trained herself to be more than she was supposed to be.
All of which makes Pearl, in my opinion, a much more interesting and amazing character. She trained herself to be as badass as she is!

I wonder how Pearl wields her battleaxe? It could see her learning how to use a heftier weapon in the past because fast and precise attacks don't work on all enemies. Although I think she'd probably have a smaller one she could move agilely with, I'd like to see how she would use a heavy weapon. I imagine if she swung a heavy ax and missed, it would be stuck in the ground or she'd have to put a lot of effort into just taking it out of the ground, so i think she would never stop moving the ax until it hits its mark. She would gain momentum making each swing stronger and she wouldn't have to slowly start each swing over.
That in fact increase probability of executioner theory. Ax is traditional weapon of executioners and it doesn't make much sense in her combat tactic. But it could be a weapon specifically designed for shattering the gems.
maybe she use some small axes? like a fireman axe or throwing axe

I can see this series taking a twist like that, honestly pearl would be the best gem to have that role in the past since we barely know hers. And it would be flat out mind blowing.

My theory on Pearls in general is still that: Pearl is not a gem, it's a byproduct of organic life. Pearls are the remnants of an organic species enslaved and 'fixed' by Homeworld, possibly via a, for lack of a better word, 'soul-less' Gemtech version of what Rose did in the creation of Steven. Or possibly Pearls are still created through an organic process and there's a planet of biological Pearl makers in the Homeworld dominion. But I'm pretty sure giant Pearl-birthing clams would be too much symbolism even for Steven Universe to handle without exploding. In specific to our Pearl, I still think regardless of White or Pink Diamond originally, it was Rose that put the mental block keeping her from speaking on her. Pearl's insistence on her being the one person Rose would never keep a secret from when Lion showed up, etc etc, plus it gives at least one more twist of the "Why did Rose do these things?" knife and delays the real reveals that have been delayed years already. Actually getting all the answers seems unlikely to me. If it was Rose that placed the mental block, however, overcoming it and Pearl finally being able to give at least some answers about why Rose kept these secrets is a pretty good consolation reveal.
One hole in this theory that glares the loudest. Zircon specifically asks "where was pink Diamond's pearl?" following the train of thought that these zircon were created after the rebellion she couldn't be white diamonds pearl simply because it was never explained where pink Diamond's pearl is if she was shattered wouldn't rose be on trial for that as well. What made pearl so terrifying beyond her combat was that she had the audacity and fearlessness to betray who she was created to be bound to. That's why all the Crystal gems are wanted not just Rose. Or at least thats part of my theory. If you're ever near Royal Oak or Ferndale we should get coffee and discuss
