Traditional orthodox Presbyterians view culture through the lens of scripture.

Former UMC here...we actually made flood buckets with the idea that WE should be the one coming to YOU if something goes wrong in your area. They had flood cleanup supplies that were were sent to disaster areas with UMCOR relief teams to go out and help others. (Left because of how over the insane edge church leadership went but the practical outreach stuff like that was great and I think some of the other Wesleyan denominations may actually still coordinate with the UMC for that.)
Think of how hard it is for members. My brother's children (8 to 13) found out about the controversy in the Methodist church they are being raised in. Their opinion was if the leaders would allow this "stuff" in their church, they wanted nothing to do with it. My mother who used to take a very dim view of Christianity, for whom my wife has prayed for the last 30 years, began to attend this same Methodist Church for the last five or ten years. I knew there were problems and I now wonder about how my mother's faith will be discouraged. Not having attended the church myself, I can only comment that the worship service appeared to be largely ceremonial in nature and I've not heard my mother or my brother's family talk about their faith in Christ. So it doesn't surprise me that the church could fall victim to unbiblical ideology. My family's eyes should be on Christ alone, but the distractions of denominations and non-denominations are big influences.

Nothing super fancy, BUT if your software gives you an EQ or an option to add a de-esser, try setting it around 7000 because you have a lot of sibilance. Sibilance is the sound that gives the overly strong "S" sound. Tweaking the EQ or adding a de-esser should fix it. Sibilance was especially strong on the Methodist example if you'd like an example of what I mean.

While I am NOT a Baptist, I will tell you their bucket sounded about right. Little Deep South small town Baptist churches do the MOST AMAZING POTLUCKS YOU WILL EVER SEE. One of my best (though unfortunately last) good memories with my granddaddy was when he took my parents and I to his church's potluck. He said the look I got when I saw all that HOME COOKED SOUTHERN FOOD in one place was so funny because I wanted just about ALL of it.
