I am old school Metallica fan that listens primarily to the First 4 albums. However, I love this song! Sounds like old metallica in my opinion. Also, I’m really liking 72 seasons and Lux eterna. Saw them in Montreal last month, they were incredible!
I was there in the AT&T Stadium to see Metallica perform, it was my first time experiencing a concert and it had to be my favorite band of all time, THANK YOU METALLICA!!!! ❤🔥🤘🎸
Same here. I was also there that night for my first ever Metallica concert and it was an amazing experience! Yes the studio version of this song is great, but live was even better. Wish i recorded it, but at least i can rewatch this video anytime I want. I did record Whiplash, For Whom The Bell Tolls, You Must Burn, If Darkness Had A Son, No Leaf Clover, Wherever I May Roam, One, Whiskey In The Jar and Enter Sandman. I did record a good amount of Ride The Lightening and Fade To Black. Reason why I guess I didn’t entirely record those 2 is because i wanted to preserve my battery enough for the other songs. During Whiskey In The Jar, one of the people in front of me was pointing out one of those big beach balls that comes out of the tower got to the next level up in the stadium. That was before James said, “are you still out there?” I did buy the 2 live CD’s and they sound great. I hope they come to my home state of Louisiana since they haven’t been there since October 2012. I also just remembered, I should have also recorded Battery.
My buddy in Texas went to both shows..so jealous!! He sent me 2 shirts so I can act like I was there!!! Great song!!! Been a Metallica fan since I was a young teen now turning 50! METALLICA for ever !!!!!
Sounds much better than the sound of the livestream at the theater. It was also off from the video and looked like an old karate movie. Love this band so much 🤘🏻
OH man, they had flames shooting out for the beginning here in MN. Seemed very fitting and badass even though they made a mistake and had to start the song over again. Loved it!
My very first time attending a Metallica concert. And they actually played one of my favorite songs. It made me so happy they played it. And now I'm even more happy they uploaded it to their channel. Metallica forever! 🥲
I’m mostly happy that the August 20th songs are here because I was in the nosebleeds and couldn’t hear the lyrics clearly for the songs I didn’t know by heart
People are just NOT feeling the music the way we used to. We would start moving at the first few sounds of awesomeness.. usually within seconds of any Metallica song back then.. and still today for me..😊❤ headbang on family..
I know I will upset lots of fans, but for me this is the ultimate Metallica song ever produced. It has everything for getting so high drugs free. Drugs won't work but this song will.
Agreed, and its ironic given the lyrics/meaning of the song. This song has everything good about old Metallica song writing and everything good about recent Metallica from writing to tones etc all in one song.
This concert was so good. I went both nights. The first night when Pantera opened for you guys, I was so happy. In the second night, I sang one word for word. Best metal band ever! No doubt.
As we all know, James has paid a high price for incorporating pyrotechnics (literal, not Kirks solos) into the shows. And as this demonstrates, there are still segments of the performance in which 12 ft spires of pure fire are actively erupting from the floor with no actual barrier between those flames and the 3 guys who are free ranging around the stage. I see they have got their placements pretty dialed in, but man I look at Rob's big metal (but highly flammable) mane and can't help but feel a certain sense of tension. It's an aspect of the show which has got to make the rest of the band envious of Lars protected and stationary position on stage 😂🤣🤣😂😂🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥😈😈😈
Lamb of God still uses pyro as well. Saw them live a few years ago, and they had flames during the whole of Walk With Me In Hell song. Pyro just adds something special to the performance.
@@mdomine245 Indeed I believe we are looking at the first and last of it's kind. There will literally be music historians in 100 years who will still be excited about it 🤘
Now if only James and his lot can get Stephanie Germanotta again or Floor Jansen to collaborate along with them. Stephanie was great beside them at the Academy Awards!
I realised the other day why I really like this song. The main bouncy verses riffs remind me of Exodus "The Toxic Waltz". Sing the lyrics to that along with the "Moth Into Flame" riff and you'll see exactly what I mean. 🤘🙂🤘
Love this song. A nice Lightning esq intro too with the harmonies. I wish 72 Seasons felt more like a continuation of Hardwired, Moth, The Day That Never Came, All Nightmare Long, Suicide and Redemption and Spit Out the Bone! Those songs are the best Metallica songs since 1988 (and The Unforgiven).
So nice to wake up to a new live Metallica song.
Yes!
In Korea, time to go to bed
Hungover day? 😉
That's what's up!! Couldn't agree more👍
in germany 16:13...
One of my favorite recent Metallica songs 🤘🏼.
Same
Hardwired album is the balls🤘🏻
Tbh their all songs are my favorite
@@digitalizeddeathLoad and Reload have some great songs - just because the music on those albums isn't thrash metal doesn't mean it's not good.
@@dmitryowenswell said!
I've seen Metallica live 7 times on the last couple years, and this song is always one of the biggest highlights
Lucky you😢
Amazing how this song is relatively new and already sounds like a Metallica classic.
Holy crap the bass sound is feral. Props to the sound tech
Rob is killing it!
Absolutely. On this tour Rob's bass has a beautiful growling tone but critically is high enough in the mix that you can really hear it clearly :)
….and it sounded damn good in person both nights too.
The timing between music and flames... just perfect
And thankfully James not standing in the wrong place!

Imagine standing on that fire exhaust grid when the pyro goes off...💀

Stuff just grown on me too as time passes by.

Fun fact: I was actually there on he floor watching this live at the concert. It was the greatest night of my life
False the greatest night of your life was when you realized that m&ms were just smarties.
@jordanroffey8343 nuh uh
I'm a new fan and I was glad to be there the two nights! I'll never forget it! ❤🤘🏻

Robs bass is so loud i love it
One of their best songs and my personal favorite! AND IT GOES SO HARD LIVE
Would love to hear No Remorse or Four Horsemen played live on this stage
TRUE! The Four Horseman has been ABANDONED this tour.
I was so happy to get to hear this live!! One of my favorites from y’alls discography. Thanks for the two great shows!!
Moth Into the Flame is my favorite song from the last 2 Metallica albums.
The Hardwired album lives on! Happy to see this at Jerry’s World 🎸
Love this song so much!! I sing it on my way to work a lot haha!
One of the best songs off hardwired 🔥🔥
This is one of my favorite modern Metallica songs. That galloping riff is so nice and heavy, and the harmonies are beautiful. Fuck yeaaaa!!! 🤘
I was THERE!! Phenomenal show. Best concert of my life
Certified Icons!!!!!!
2:54: The chugging guitar part hits harder live than the album. Love it🔥🔥🔥
2:51 A Moth into the Flame!!!
This fast power in this song is amazing 🖤💛
Sounds much better than the sound of the livestream at the theater. It was also off from the video and looked like an old karate movie. Love this band so much 🤘🏻
❤ We love Metallica.
Please come to Brazil with this stage!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Will ALWAYS be my fav Metallica song oat
Sold your soul

Fantastic band !
I was there. Metallica truly is one of the greats it is undeniable
first metallica concert i ever went to, got surprised by my dad to fly over here for my birthday
MUCH LOVE FROM FLORIDA! 🤘
AIN'T NO WAY BC I PLANNED A TRIP WITH MY DAD ALSO, AND FROM FLORIDA!
Fucking sick dude, his Birthday was on Sunday (Night Two) haha
Me encanta escucharlos, pronto será en vivo yeah! 🤘🤘🇲🇽.
Metallica es otra cosa ☝️
This gig was to be projected live in theaters, but the satellite signal didn't work, so we all had to go back home. Glad to see this video here.
I ❤ Metallica
The best way to start the journey! I hope everyone has a great day! 🤟🏻
I’m mostly happy that the August 20th songs are here because I was in the nosebleeds and couldn’t hear the lyrics clearly for the songs I didn’t know by heart
Ooh, i love Rob's chugging bass.
Watching them 3 times was great, but still never enough!!
I love to seet that finally Robert free his hair, no fancy image like before. That is thrash spirit.. legend 🤘👍
Been a fan since 1986 and the Dallas shows were awesome to experience. The sound in person on the floor was 100x better too.
5:37 FAME!! Yeah!
@@userguitub Nao, eles fizeram ainda 2 shows depois desse. No terceiro que o James sentiu
ele tinha covid
One of my favorite songs from Hardwired!
I was there!! Best show ever!!!
Addiction to the FAME🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘
Metallica is a top🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Metallica como siempre 2023 brindando lo mejor gracias Dios los bendiga mi banda favorita
I was there on the floor it was epic 🤘🤘🤘
The way they have the stage set up is amazing
It's awfull. You spend your night looking for them when you are in the pit. It only is fun from above, which sucks for a metal show
3:12 this shot of Trujillo is downright awesome
So glad i was there both night a year went by so fast man never will forget it
James gallop and pull off in this is pure genius
James down picking on that song is only second to master of puppets , just mighty!
Rob looks so good
Hugs from Portugal. 🇵🇹🤟🏻

Definitely one of the best. Especially when jogging high pace i have this song in my ear
It’s my current favorite…the solo!!!!!
And live it’s amazing, was one of the peaks of my recent experience 🎉
I know what your saying, it’s the most relevant Metallica song in years…and they fucking nail it!
Agreed, and its ironic given the lyrics/meaning of the song.
This song has everything good about old Metallica song writing and everything good about recent Metallica from writing to tones etc all in one song.
That stage is Insane 🔥
Grande spettacolo cari Metallica 🎶👍🎻🎶 Ottimo video e performance..Grazie per la condivisione 🙏 Complimenti ed Applausi 👏 Buon weekend 🏖️ Ciao 🇮🇹✔️🤗

James finally remembered that it's an 8-count song. LOL
Amazing, long time fan here, this is great!

Guns n roses stopped doing pyro in their shows….their live show is not as impressive, good on Metallica for keeping it!
Lamb of God still uses pyro as well. Saw them live a few years ago, and they had flames during the whole of Walk With Me In Hell song. Pyro just adds something special to the performance.
this stage is huge as compared to 90s stages

The round stage with flamethrower traps is also a great idea.

For me this song and Halo on Fire are the two best tracks from Hardwired :)
