Good Morning folks, nice to see things progressing. The plants will be useful as well as aesthetic, and give a nice touch. But your cube shelving, especially in a tiny space like what you have - will be a game changer. We have had a fair bit of snow in the last few days, but the sun came out yesterday and it has all melted now. Got a bit of catch up to do outside and around the property, and have friends coming up to give me a hand. Hoping for a productive day. Take care, speak soon. Susan xx
Yes! So homely 🙂 It really has been game changing, things are easier to access and store neatly, really glad we did it! Oooh how magical, it's a shame it melts so quick. Are you a snow lover or hater, living in it? Enjoy your productivity and having some extra helpful hands! Keep them busy 🤣❤️
@@DiandSam Oh, I love the snow! Things still get done but 'differently' we drag hay bales around on sleds to feed the animals. Firewood is dragged down to the house on the sled as well - as the snow clogs up the wheel of the wheel barrow. And nothing beats the exhilaration of sledding down the driveway or the paddocks! :-) xxx
I use an electric dehumidifier. It has a cooling element and fan and the water collects in a small container. No chemicals just electricity, it makes a soft sound of the fan.
Hi Di and Sam. Go you with the plants Di. Yep nature a great way to help. Thanks for the tip on the lemon in the vinegar. Lunch looked nice and inviting Di. There is nothing wrong with allowing yourself to take the simple way. Hold your head high girl. You might want something in front of top shelf to stop things falling when travelling. Looks great mate you did an awesome job.
Yes we're going to add hooks or something with bungee cord for moving days 😊 and if that's not effective we'll get some more baskets I think 🚌 Agreed plants are more fun too! I'm just worried they won't be allowed for border crossings
Thanks Barry, I guess it is in any house hey, but when it's right in front of you you're faced with having to fix it sooner! Stay warm and well Di and Sam
That cupboard looks great and I'm sure the space is working so much better now. Our oldest 3 kids have lived in caravans for years , the moisture is a constant battle. Opening everything up daily is a must , regularly washing curtains, bedding etc . Not very environmentally friendly of me but budget friendly, we put cups of crystal cat litter around on shelves , it's the same stuff in the little packets and a whole lot cheaper . We've tried the bentonite clay ( we use that for actual cat litter and to seal our leaky dam) but it doesn't work well enough ( in our climate maybe ) Freezing rain is awful, I don't enjoy that bit about southern winters. The plants and copper accents look beautiful. Thank you for sharing lovelies ❤❤
Ahh that's so good to know re cat crystals!! I guess when living in our day and age there's certain environmental impacts we can't avoid hey 😞 need more people researching alternatives! Thank you for sharing my lovely. The space is much more functional and homely. We currently have to strap the shelves when moving but will eventually find an easier method! The rains are freezing indeed, glad for sun to thaw out with hahaha
I have already purchased a dehumidifier for our house to be transferred to the bus when complete. Condensation will always be a problem, so the wife and I decided a dehumidifier would be the best option overall. Your bus is certainly looking more and more complete!! Can't wait to get on the road and travel in the near future myself!
Good idea, supposedly our aircon should have 1, need to investigate properly. It certainly is homely, living in it helps bring the cost side out! Can't wait for you too!!!

@@DiandSam that’s a good point about the boarder crossings. Let’s hope they be ok.

@@DiandSam you will have to let me know the outcome.

your rooftop air conditioner should already have a dehumidifier setting.
It should, we'll have to check the manual. When we have the heater running it definitely helps with condensation, but we don't run it over night
