I'm surprised how balanced and simple you are! You don't boast, you don't praise your lifestyle as a paradise and an example to follow, but you are reserved and talk about your little joys in life. It sounds very sincere
I’m off grid, no rent or mortgage… my expenses are about 700 a month USA… but, I still need to buy stuff for improvements. But, I’ve got a little shack w a woodstove and water and plenty of electricity w abt 2500 USD invested in solar and an 800 USD invested in a dual fuel generator to charge my batteries during inclement weather.
I'm actively retired. I live in a tiny trailer house I built. It's situated on a farm where I work quarter days doing odd farm jobs. So my rent and amenities are covered. I'm glad I had the foresight before retirement. I'm very happy.
I agree. For my 60th birthday I bought 30 acres with a 12'x24' shed. I'm finishing the shed, partly with reclaimed materials, making it into an off-grid home. I have a solar system and will be having a well drilled this year. I walk dogs and pet sit for much of my income. Pet sitting won't be a problem for living off-grid, I can still do that. But most of the dogs I walk are getting older. I can't live off-grid and walk the dogs, my off-grid house is 2 hours away and in the desert. When those clients go to the Rainbow Bridge I won't replace them with other clients. I will go live off-grid.
@@juliehodges5592 My worries of not being at the property is thieves and vandals. Have you experienced that? I'm in AZ and want land up north somewhere there are actual trees and more water than the desert.
Staying out of debt is key. Paid everything off in 2007 and it is freeing. And with today’s costs I am so glad. I don’t know how the majority of people are doing it. His and hers car payments, mortgages, cable, electric etc. Not to mention if you have a couple kids. Your lifestyle is very calming and stress free. Keep it up. You dog seems to love it as well! Money isn’t everything.
Well done on paying everything off. It's a great feeling, i remember the feeling of paying off our first house 😊. We have been very fortunate to have bought and sold our houses along our lives and not having a monthly payment, cars are bought second hand and in cash. But we also plan for things and try to not let our ego get in the way of us making good financial decisions. We don't need a big car as we only have one child and a cat 😺. We don't need flashy designer clothes, but we are building a holiday house next to a river, not big, but the views are amazing and we will get a lot of joy from the space, much more than driving fancy cars 😊
Anders, your past and current story is so beautiful. I think schools for children ages 8 - 18 should recommend your channel for young people's life plans / skills / choices. We don't all have to grow up and work in an office cubicle and be wage slaves. God Bless You.
I admire your self-reliance. I recently encountered the statement "I have stood on the backs of others for my own comfort." Here in the States it expresses a major problem in present society. It is the complete antithesis of the kind of life you seek. So glad you didn't allow yourself to become trapped in what others might have expected of you.
Thank ypu so much for the kind words!☺️I am, however, also very gratefull for all the various connections that I have in my life, that allowed for me to become so independent: like my family that taught me to walk and talk and the welfare society that gives me security and freedom to do what I do. I also heard a great expression: that every man/woman is not an island but a peninsula: semi-autonomous but always to a motherland land made you and that you depend on! I think there is much wisdom in that☺️
Yesterday l watched a channel of somebody from Norway and today l am watching this channel from Denmark. This is really amazing how much we all have in common, how beautiful and colourful the world is, and how much we can share with each other. This is really something as big as the world is. I have come to a conclusion that people all over the world show the same kindness, love, values and many other things. We may have different cultures, languages, countries etc..but at the end of the day we are the same people with same values. Thanks to the guy who invented English language and thanks to the one who invented TH-cam. 🙏 To the owner of this channel.. I wish you all the best. You have more simple style of living and l do like the ideas you share. Just subscribed to your channel.. Greetings from Russia.
We are a family of 5 on a 38 ft classic sailboat of which actual living space is probably closer to 28 ft. Three years later and we are still onboard traveling the world together. People think we are crazy for selling our home to live on a tiny boat. We don't have any debt, we don't have a lot of extra junk, heck we don't even have a TV. We now have the time to home school our boys and travel. Together we experience the challenges and highs of this amazing lifestyle.
Hola hello beautiful world God Almighty bless all ❤️how amazing congratulations!! What a blessing people don't have to understand or like how we choose to live what most importantly is one God Almighty thinks and second our selves and family I once asked my nefew what was more important to him if having all the toys and things games etc that he wanted or havening his mother be a stay home mother he answered me and said to have his mother be a stay a home mom God Almighty bless all ❤️✨🌟❤️
I have been living these same strategies for 5 years now in an off-grid cabin in the north of Ontario in Canada, and the conclusions you have come to are the same as I arrived at years ago. It is hard to describe to people how freeing yourself from the machine takes work and sacrifice, but not nearly as much as it takes to life on a hamster wheel for the rest of your life. You are buying not just time, but the ability to follow a natural rhythm that gives you more energy and wellbeing, rather than depleting it. So happy to see someone else living this life!
I am surprised the Norway hiking videos were not so popular! I loved those videos and hope to see more like it. It was very relaxing to watch. But I will keep watching whatever you decide to put out because I think the brand is yourself and your dog :)
I did not see those videos been recommended at all... the algorythm sometimes plays tricks. :O Anyway, I like to see you doing all kinds of choirs around your own house and garden. :) That is entertaining.
The honesty and transparency are what brings me back to your channel...and of course the great tiny living content. Also very much looking forward to seeing the build of your new place!
I like how open and honest you are. About many things. Money. The lack of glamour. The inevitable failures. Bad ideas that need to be corrected later on... Even "noises in the toilet in a tiny house". These are real concerns that most would avoid talking about, but they do bring stress to life. I like it that you talk about these things. Thank you. PS: And regarding your honesty about posting videos that were not related to tiny living (like the hiking ones), I follow some channels from Japan that do van camping. There is no talking, and that's why I and others are there. Just seeing the person camping, cooking, breathing in the nature around them. Then, suddenly, in one video, the guy decides to talk. It was like glass shattering. Not because I can't stand people talking, but that's not why I'm there for. A video from another channel in the US, the guy is silently camping on his truck (house built atop the truck), and then he decides to play the guitar and sing. If I wanted to see people play the guitar and sing, I would have searched for it, like I did many times. So it's nice that you had this experience, and I'm sure you will get out of this "downwards" spiral. Your content is really valuable.
Henry David Thoreau... "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach."
Another input from New Zealand. I have two favourite youtube channels--yours, and the restoration of a French chateau. I prefer to spend my valuable time watching and listening to people who are down-to-earth, honest, and who have positive aims in life. The world is so full of those who are airy-fairy, and would lead one down the garden path with their fanciful ideas. I am 81 yrs old, and have experienced generations that were much more steadfast and upright in their practices and beliefs than today's lot, on the whole; and I truly appreciate your channel which assures me that there are still some "out there" that know how to experience a better life than most people desire to live. Leave the rat race to the rats, I say! Keep inspiring us, Anders: we need more like you, and Boisimas?
Thanks Graham, it really makes me happy to hear that you enjoy my channel! And thank you also for sharing! Haha, he’s name is Borsimat (means Captain of the boat in Greenland where he’s from)
I've just paused this video to say that I really enjoyed your hiking n Norway videos. They reminded me very much of our Scottish Highlands. Also, I'm glad that you've found a way to earn an income so that you can continue to live the life you have envisioned for yourself. Call it being self-employed rather than not a recognised style of employment. ... or as some people would say 'not a proper job'!!
@@andersboisentinyhouse hi from Norway ;) I wonder if you own this land or renting it -or how you found it? and did you built another cabin you are renting out? did you owe the land there too? Very fascinating, way to go!
I appreciate your humility and transparency about your tiny home living lifestyle. I admire the tiny home living community. We have forgotten what it's like to live with just the basic necessities of life. We were always meant to be self sufficient and self-sustaining human beings. Modern conveniences and excess has made us more stressed, sick, and slaves. Wish you much success! Watching you all the way from Tulare, California!
I live in a small trailer court in the mountains and i am actually trying to work less and live more sustainable. I can whatever i can. And also look nice sales for instance i got a bushel of potatoes for $18 and i gave some to family to help them out but have enough to can for the winter. I try to raise my own vegetables but still have to go to local farmers that have pick your own. But I am working on my debt so eventually i can just have to pay for the necessary stuff. I liked this video very much.
Beloved thank you for sharing your story. I am Jamaican from the original mountain people and yes in the past we were self sufficient. I spend most of my time in the UK now and i am trying to be self sufficient as well.
Thank you very much for eveything you do and say. I'm also in the country, in France, and I try live as much as naturally as possible, mainly for my health ! And when I improve my way of life for my health, I grow my food, I don't buy plastic etc, I left city for countryside, and in fact I save money because I don't buy many things, so I could work less hours for my boss... and less and less !!!
This is a really good video that shares some basic principles about how to have economic freedom. The level of debt that most people have is astounding, and when they lose their job they are days away from bankruptcy. Not everyone has to choose this off-grid DIY lifestyle to have economic freedom, but there are lots of lessons to help others think about how to do it themselves. And you have an excellent, matter-of-fact way of presenting information that isn't telling people what to do. I imagine that going and doing speaking about tiny house living also draws people to your channel, so it can do double-duty in terms of income production! I am pretty sure I saw an article about you just show up on my social media, so yes, you do get attention for your lifestyle! Some folks also end up doing a second channel for things that aren't directly related to their main channel, so you may want to just put the travel videos on with other topics that are interesting to some of us so that you don't lose momentum here, but perhaps get to build another audience from other topics too.
the greatest value you have is what you bring to the world, living simply and sustainably, and showing people it can be done! keep at it and thank you! very inspiring
I love your values and all of your work, including those Norway videos! I think you are very wise and creative. What you have to share is very valuable! People really need to hear about alternatives to consumerism because, you are absolutely right, the planet cannot sustain our current level of destruction to create ever more luxury! It is beyond sad what we have done to it! 😢
Your lists of assets sounds nice Anders but in my opinion those are not your biggest assets. Your biggest asset you built up in these four years is what you have learned. You learned to become a public speaker, You learned how to write a book and publish it, You learned how to create a permaculture garden, You learned how to create video's, You learned how to build a water system for your house, Your learned all kinds of other building stuff, You learned how to forage, but most of all you learned to stand on your own two feet and that's an asset no one can take away from you! Enjoy your weekend 🍂
Personally, I really enjoyed your travel videos too and they were still very much in line with the main content of your channel i.e. sustainability and alternative living. This one was another great video. Educational and funny too. Keep it up. x
@andersboisentinyhouse you could always start a second channel featuring your travels and hiking. People would love to see that and you could build it up slowly but surely like this channel. Thank you for your insights on living a more fulfilling life. Cheers!
This was great..Seeing your part of the world in what ever form it takes is inspiring and has great value..Trusting that life presents you with opportunities to develop the life your living..The new house build will no doubt bring changes your way, but great rewards also..Kindness your way.. Lochness Scottish Highlands..
Your doggo loves you thats all that matter Anders! ♥ Love watching your videos! I think they are really inspiring and eye-opening to many. it's not exactly obvious to many how little people really need to be happy/content with life. The fact that you are not required to sacrifice your whole adult life to capitalism/consumerism and that there are alternatives ways of living.
Thanks for sharing. Was concerned when you shared at first about leaving your job, but now I see how you are living your best life and earning a living at the same time. You have got your head on your shoulders .👍👍👍
Love your channel and really enjoyed your trip in Norway . Keep being true to what you want to do as well has hitting numbers . As long as you can manage comfortably reassure yourself on the impact you won’t necessarily see and that is how much people are learning from you and how far afield you are inspiring people with simpler less stressful ways of life and being sustainable and good to the planet.
You are doing so well in all aspects of your thoughtful living. Well done! I live tiny and off grid too. I’m in my 70th year and have a small pension so I’m wealthy too. Diversifying your income is very wise.
For me, you have a wholesome, down to earth, pioneering spirit. As long as you maintain simplicity and creativity, you will do really well. You are not caught up in the trappings of must haves. You take time and give a lot of thought to how best this lifestyle, you have opted for, will serve you. I hope you turn your projects into success, however you choose to determine it. I wish you had someone, like minded, to share life with. After fifty seven years, with my husband, I recommend it. Wishing you much happiness. From (Ontario, Canada.
I also really loved the Norway Videos! Great shots of a great guy in a great landscape🏞️ Peaceful beauty and nearly to touch nature just by watching✨ All the pure life. Just keep on doing what feels right for you, Anders! You have a good feeling and strategy and you are doing it with good intentions. Nothing to doubt about 😊 Your honest resume on the last years living your dream is really inspiring!! You are not only part but a motor of a big movement and it will work out in a really good way! Greetings from Germany🙋♀️
I really enjoy watching your channel. What i liked about the hiking video was that you were showing us what you are able to enjoy in your life because you live in a tiny house and keep your life simple. It was a beautiful video and very interesting. Thank you for sharing!
Hello from California, I just stumbled across your video while surfing the net. I really enjoyed the knowledge and experiences that you have shared with us all and I am now a new subscriber to your TH-cam channel. I look forward to seeing more of your videos on tiny house living, it has me wanting to look into homesteading property here in the US. . . Best of luck to you, thanks.
I really enjoy all your videos, showing us a different peaceful way of living in nature. I on the other hand enjoyed your Norway hiking videos immensely. Thankyou for sharing your strategies, everyday life with us.😊
So nice, we were living self sufficiently for the most part a few years ago. It is such a freedom to be able to provide for you and your family as well as teaching the children to be able to do things by themselves that can support them in the future.
❤❤ dude I’m at the minute 2 m and 45 seconds mark and I’m ready to subscribe. I love that you didn’t give up on yourself. 🎉🎉 I haven’t even watched the rest of the video yet. 😊
I'm watching from Philippines, i love everything you did i was inspired, i want it because it's in the province, very simply a place to live but without stress
I'm sorry to hear your Norway videos were not successful in terms of viewers, I absolutely loved both videos and will watch again to relax, look at the beautiful scenery and hear the accoustic guitar music. 🎼🎵💚
Anders, I am so sorry that the hiking videos didn’t do well. I’m so surprised because I LOvED them. Your drone footage was awesome. And the stupid algorithm makes no sense sometimes (other than the time it suggested your channel to me.). Btw when you said your costs per month at your house is 750, my jaw dropped. I wanna be strange or weird like you.
@@chasingsimpledreams i absolutely loved the videos from the Norway hiking trails .. amazing footage of nature. @heliaandrade146 that’s what I want for him as well. The nature where he lives and went on vacation is just amazing. It’s my dream to have a place like Anders has, even knowing it’s difficult at times. I’m glad he has found ways to support himself
Watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲 I enjoy watching videos like this because it motivates me to do my off grid building. Would be so much easier when your partner is like-minded
I'm sorry to hear that the Norway hiking videos didn't get as many views as you would have liked...maybe you could consolidate the 2 videos into 1 short asmr video that just focuses on the beauty of Norway? maybe you can add title & captions for that video too that is targeted more towards people who are interested in learning about Norway...i really like how relaxed and transparent your channel is and i agree with your ideals. ❤ from Philippines
It's a great life, it's a great self-sufficiency, no matter how bad the economy is, it can't affect you at all, plus you're in great health because you don't have to eat unsafe plants. Your house is really beautiful with self-sufficiency.
Just discovered your channel, Anders. Very impressed with how you go about off-grid, self-sufficient living. You are living our dream! Hope we can make that happen at some stage. Thank you for providing additional motivation for me to recover from a chronic illness that has kept me from working in our garden for over a year now. Warching your videos, I really want to get back out there and get my hands dirty!
Your videos are so peaceful and calming . Love your channel! There’s something about being outside alone with nature that changes everything. I have a tiny house too , the best decision I ever made . Love the peaceful country life .
I just came across your channel today and I’m so glad I did. I find your simple way of living very fascinating . Looking forward to more amazing videos .
Without your dog I feel that you would be lonely. Living in the woods can be peaceful but also lonely without another living creature to share life with and to talk to. I'm glad that you have 3 sources of income and that TH-cam is working for you. I always like and subscribe so TH-cam will pay you. Your food looks good and it's nice to know that your garden is producing. You also need to save for retirement so you need jobs that produce money to invest.
Thanks for the being considerate☺️It is indeed a great joy to have him with me on the journey! But also: I do have friends and family that I see very often, so I’m not as alone as it may seem in the videos😊
Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 from fellow kindred spirits. Simple living whilst nestled in the beauty of nature just feeds the soul. Grand job! Best of luck
Perhaps this is more easy for me to understand as I have worked in a sweat shop sewing clothing. I have an electric supply and use bottles has with my own well and septic tank. The maintenance is difficult but not impossible as I am retired, it is not possible to live off grid yet but I hope that the future technologies will make it possible. Birdy
I just moved off grid… my one biggest expense is cell phone… but when the truck breaks down … just having a vehicle is really the biggest overall expense.
I definitely don't think that people did not like your Norway videos. I suspect it's a lack of exposure mainly. This is the first of your videos I've ever come across, and when I heard you mention about your Norway videos, I searched for them, watched them, and very much enjoyed them, enough to watch them more than once and share them with others. They're so relaxing, peaceful and therapeutic. I've now subscribed to your channel (plus thumbssss upped).
This is the life I dreamed of. living on the edge of the forest and gardening and raising animals. The land left by my late mother in the middle of the forest of Borneo Island has been abandoned.I had to live in the town because the education center was in the town. Without a job it was still difficult to live in the town.Finding a partner who has a simple lifestyle is also difficult. Not many people are interested in gardening.I've never been jealous of people who live luxuriously, but I'm jealous of people who live like this. Debt-free and stress-free
This amazing lifestyle, to live simply, yet remain connected to the world, only became possible over the past few years. Lithium batteries, smartphones, camera technologies, Starlink, better solar panels, etc, are all fairly recent. We're now able to live Henry David Thoreau's dream of being connected to nature and our Creator and yet still be connected enough to each other and cover our basic needs. It's quite remarkable actually. We're very fortunate in many ways if we seize this opportunity. Greetings from Virginia. Just found your channel and subscibed. Thank you friend!
I enjoy your channel. I am excited about the building. I also enjoyed the trip to Norway. It was nice to see that you can get away and enjoy yourself in such beautiful surroundings.
Your dog was watching you cut up the sausage hoping some to go his way. I am considering this lifestyle here in Australia also. My concern is what do you feed your dog for meals when living out in the bush as I have 2 small dogs and would like advice on this please.
I’m sure he buys dog food for his dog. The beef he had cooked obviously is from a market. He never said he doesn’t ever purchase meat or other household supply items like toilet paper from the grocery store. It’s just like farmers who have animals on the farm, they still buy feed or food for their animals. 🤷🏾♀️
I really enjoy your videos as I grew up on a farm in the Lammermuir Hills in Scotland. We had no electricity and the house didn’t have a hot water system or a bath. So how you’re living reminds me of that and I enjoyed my childhood.
I love living in a small space. I enjoy your videos & learn a lot from you! That tool you are using to stir your food has several names, it is called a spatula, fish turner, slotted turner or skimmer. Searching for land to put a tiny home on.
Wood only smokes if it's not totally dry. Pick your firestick wood from high places, not off the ground to avoid moisture and lots of smoke. Also, the smoke only blows one way, so if it's blowing in your face, move your chair over- out of it's wind-blown path!
Your way of thinking is not naive. You've explained the "game of life" perfectly and the hardest part about unplugging, once you've seen the borders of virtual reality, is only in our heads.
Few Other ideas: Patreon with more detailed description and video on specific subjects (house, garden, solar,..). Physical tutorials around Denmark on building things. There are plenty of "tiny living" building videos but they always show building process in hyper speed. Go teach the skills.
It is so wonderful to see a young person figure this out. I am debt free and I wouldn't have it any other way. If I can't afford something I don't buy it. When I bought my house 9 years ago I could have bought something more expensive and had a mortgage but I bought a house with one acre of land for slightly less than $25,000. I was determined not to be in debt. I can't imagine going into debt for anything.
I don't have land but have been living tiny for many years, not sure of the number. Was raised in normal small town and suburb houses. They had a grass-is-greener complex so we moved a lot. That taught me the burden of stuff, the way empty space is inevitably filled. After packing up and moving a whole house of stuff many times I saw houses as silly burdens. Always played outside and got into backpacking as an adolescent. Backpacking is the central organization of all my minimalism. Lived without a car for an 8 year period in rural areas so I got used to letting go of stuff and prioritizing need and function over emotional attachments to things. Experiences and skills became the valuable thing for me. So glad I dropped out of college after my first year, didn't burden myself with too much debt, just enough to teach me about it and avoid it by living small and free. I've camped out on friend's land many years, usually May-Oct, so wonderful. I love the rhythms of camp life, gathering sticks for fire, gathering water and filtering for drinking water or boiling for coffee or herbal tea or meals. All of that is lovely. The sound of rain on a tarp is soothing. I naturally go to bed super early when camping full time. That leads to early rising to enjoy the early stillness and the first bird calls and the local ovenbird foraging in the duff around my camp as I drink coffee. Been camping in an open storage bay behind another friend's house all winter in Vermont. It's unheated but I surrounded my bed with a sort of tent of sheets to block the drafts a bit and there is an electric blanket beneath my sleeping bag. Can't run it any higher than the lowest setting or it makes me sweat though, blankets work. I hang out in my car or the house when not working, the camp is just for sleeping and cooking. Working an easy cashiering job during the winter but going back to fulltime decorative garden maintenance in the spring. Been doing that since 2014. I might make a channel, but it will be free, not turning my lifestyle into a brand, that corrupts everything good eventually.
My soul and body yearn for this life, and I have ever since I was a small child. But I am stuck in a modern living loop with a family to support. I don’t know if I will ever make it to this dream, in this life, and that makes me sad.
I could live like that and easily make enough from my spoons. I mean, I make a living from them now, but I'd be living like a king with loads of free time if I moved off the grid. But my wife wouldn't do it, and I'm kind of fond of her.

I think it is always hard for anyone to start something like this here on TH-cam, especially tiny house living, although I have always loved watching young people like you get on this way , and for some one like me who lives in a bungalow here in England, the differences between you in your country and me here in mine , so I hope I will watch more of you In your life thank you for your time and quite a good presentation 👍
Having the approach to debt as making banks richer is wise to learn at this stage of your life. You're in your 20s right? Good on ya for learning this now and starting a life where you prioritize what's valuable and important to you! I would have enjoyed watching you hike to other cabins but I recognize it a wise business decision understanding what will help you financially as well.
very very inspiring ...im here still working 9-5 thank you for your video.. it is sincere and honest also For your youtube, As long as it is sincere and raw, i think people will like it. i hope the data from your youtube videos dont stress you a lot.
Couple of questions for you: Have u thought about translating your book that you wrote on tiny living into English? Also, when you think of the numbers regarding your hiking videos, think back to when you started the channel. Those numbers probably would have made you happy. And if it was too many dislikes, well F those people. A friend of mine did a tribute video about one of her dogs after it passed and she got dislikes. Keyboard warriors suck. Don’t let them get to you. I, for one, LOvE your channel.
I love this kind of lifestyle and still trying to save some money to quit a full-time job to do something else or only part-time job in the future. The lifestyle that you are living in is very common practices in my country. People do farming, fishing and sell vegetables that they grow for a living. I like to watch your content, because it reminds me that we do not need much in life to live happily. I really dream of living in Tiny house and have a small garden.
I enjoy your videos and your enthusiasm for this lifestyle. It is good for you and you seem very happy and content. I am happy for you that things are progressing in such a good way. It is very inspiring for those of us older folks, I am 68. I hope to travel the U.S. next year in a campervan that I am getting worked on and mechanically sound. Best of luck to you and your lovely pup! Happy New Year! Keep up the good work!

We don't need flashy designer clothes, but we are building a holiday house next to a river, not big, but the views are amazing and we will get a lot of joy from the space, much more than driving fancy cars 😊
staying out of debt is a choice. most can not give up the ego and need for useless things and, what will the neighbors think?
Honest and humble guy deserves respect. Corrupt politicians take note 😊
Really respect all the people ❤
Not just the ones that we agree ❤with
Anders, your past and current story is so beautiful. I think schools for children ages 8 - 18 should recommend your channel for young people's life plans / skills / choices. We don't all have to grow up and work in an office cubicle and be wage slaves. God Bless You.
Excellent. To be a simple Man is good to God's eyes. Congratulations.
To the owner of this channel..
Sounds so great! Inspiring, and thanks for sharing!😊👌
Hola hello beautiful world God Almighty bless all ❤️how amazing congratulations!! What a blessing people don't have to understand or like how we choose to live what most importantly is one God Almighty thinks and second our selves and family I once asked my nefew what was more important to him if having all the toys and things games etc that he wanted or havening his mother be a stay home mother he answered me and said to have his mother be a stay a home mom God Almighty bless all ❤️✨🌟❤️
❤❤❤
My time on a 35' wooden sailboat is among my favorite memories.
Super cool, your kids will have a unique perspective
Thank you so much for your support! And I’m really happy that you enjoyed the Norway videos too!☺️
I did not see those videos been recommended at all... the algorythm sometimes plays tricks. :O Anyway, I like to see you doing all kinds of choirs around your own house and garden. :) That is entertaining.
I agree. I loved those Norway hiking videos. Those were great fun to watch. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
@@andersboisentinyhouse The Norway videos were terrific! Thank you for sharing them.
Haha, he’s name is Borsimat (means Captain of the boat in Greenland where he’s from)
You are a very nice young man. Hope your channel continue growing . Your English is really good and comprehensive . Greetings from Russia.
God bless.
Thanks so much😊
I've just paused this video to say that I really enjoyed your hiking n Norway videos. They reminded me very much of our Scottish Highlands. Also, I'm glad that you've found a way to earn an income so that you can continue to live the life you have envisioned for yourself. Call it being self-employed rather than not a recognised style of employment. ... or as some people would say 'not a proper job'!!
Watching your videos bring me so much joy and peace. I have no doubt your channel will pick up again. Keep up the great work!
Hi thanks!!😊
I want to be strange and live in a tiny house too living off-grid and sustainable
❤️
@@andersboisentinyhouse hi from Norway ;) I wonder if you own this land or renting it -or how you found it? and did you built another cabin you are renting out? did you owe the land there too?
Very fascinating,way to go!
Thanks😊And I so agree!!
You nailed it. Being debt free is freedom. People have no idea how they pay in interest and how fast it adds up.
Thanks for sharing, for the kind words and also the good ideas about a possible second channel! Thanks👌😊
the greatest value you have is what you bring to the world, living simply and sustainably, and showing people it can be done! keep at it and thank you! very inspiring
Thanks!!😊❤️
I love your values and all of your work, including those Norway videos! I think you are very wise and creative. What you have to share is very valuable! People really need to hear about alternatives to consumerism because, you are absolutely right, the planet cannot sustain our current level of destruction to create ever more luxury! It is beyond sad what we have done to it! 😢
Thank you so much!!☺️Very glad you enjoy it all!!😊
@ Great channel Anders! The message is very important!
Your lists of assets sounds nice Anders but in my opinion those are not your biggest assets. Your biggest asset you built up in these four years is what you have learned.
You learned to become a public speaker,
You learned how to write a book and publish it,
You learned how to create a permaculture garden,
You learned how to create video's,
You learned how to build a water system for your house,
Your learned all kinds of other building stuff,
You learned how to forage,
but most of all you learned to stand on your own two feet and that's an asset no one can take away from you!
Enjoy your weekend
🍂
Muito bom😊❤
Thanks for the very kind words! You’re right, learning life skills is really the biggest asset one can build👌😊Have a great weekend too!!❤️
Congratulations on your success. Your tiny home and alternative way to live in harmony with the earth is wonderful.
Thanks😊
Personally, I really enjoyed your travel videos too and they were still very much in line with the main content of your channel i.e. sustainability and alternative living. This one was another great video. Educational and funny too. Keep it up. x
Thank you so much!! Very happy to hear that☺️
@andersboisentinyhouse you could always start a second channel featuring your travels and hiking.
Thanks Neil😃Yes, I guess that it is a pretty good lesson in life👌I’m glad you enjoyed it! Looking forward to the new house for sure!!
I totally agree ❤
Thank you so much! And also for the advice - really appreciate it☺️Very kind of you to let me know!😊
I really enjoy watching your channel. What i liked about the hiking video was that you were showing us what you are able to enjoy in your life because you live in a tiny house and keep your life simple. It was a beautiful video and very interesting. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for letting my know☺️Really glad you liked it!!
I love the dog's presence❤
One subscriber here.. living a life this way is a little bit challenging but enjoyable
I really enjoy all your videos, showing us a different peaceful way of living in nature.
I on the other hand enjoyed your Norway hiking videos immensely.
Thankyou for sharing your strategies, everyday life with us.😊
Thank you so much for letting me know! I really happy to hear that - it’s a great comfort☺️
Thanks! I cross my fingers for you then😊🤞
I'm sorry to hear your Norway videos were not successful in terms of viewers, I absolutely loved both videos and will watch again to relax, look at the beautiful scenery and hear the accoustic guitar music.
@@chasingsimpledreams me too , I loved them so much.❤️
@@chasingsimpledreams i absolutely loved the videos from the Norway hiking trails .. amazing footage of nature.
That takes so much planning,
And
Thought as to what do people want to see and experience?
I love love love your videos snd way of life..
wish I was younger to share..
You share all I ever wanted when I was young .,,,
I just want you to be happy and self sufficient,💕💕💕
@heliaandrade146 that’s what I want for him as well. The nature where he lives and went on vacation is just amazing. It’s my dream to have a place like Anders has, even knowing it’s difficult at times. I’m glad he has found ways to support himself
What hiking video.?
@ look for his video on solo hiking in Norway, and also another video he did on his vacation in Norway. Just a few weeks ago.
I have always wanted to visit Norway so watching you hike there is something I definitely would watch.
I hope that you grow. Like the grass in the summer months. Blossom and grow.
Your videos are so peaceful and calming . Love your channel! There’s something about being outside alone with nature that changes everything. I have a tiny house too , the best decision I ever made . Love the peaceful country life .
Sending my families love from Alabama. ❤❤❤ You are living the dream, brother, keep going... We aren't missing anything in the rat race.
I just came across your channel today and I’m so glad I did. I find your simple way of living very fascinating . Looking forward to more amazing videos .
Thank you so much! And welcome to the channel!😊
You are so 🦉 wise and your tiny home is amazing🍂🍁🌻🌾
@andersboisentinyhouse I'm glad to hear that you have friends. Your dog is a daily source of comfort so I'm glad that you have him.
Thanks!! And so true! I actually quote Thoreau in the beginning of each chapter in my book😊
I just subscribed as I believe in what you’re doing.
The best to you.
Only have one life and wonderful how you found a life you are content in. The pup so cute.
Love your Content. Hope the spirale will go up again soon. Great Video!
I enjoy your channel. I am excited about the building. I also enjoyed the trip to Norway. It was nice to see that you can get away and enjoy yourself in such beautiful surroundings.
Thank you for sharing your offgrid life. New subscriber from Malaysia.
Thank you for sharing a different way of life. 🌿
You’re welcome!😊
Your way of thinking is not naive. You've explained the "game of life" perfectly and the hardest part about unplugging, once you've seen the borders of virtual reality, is only in our heads.
Thanks!😊
Few Other ideas: Patreon with more detailed description and video on specific subjects (house, garden, solar,..). Physical tutorials around Denmark on building things.
There are plenty of "tiny living" building videos but they always show building process in hyper speed. Go teach the skills.
thank you so much for all the information, great info. grettings from Nebraska USA.
Hi, do you have a website or link to your spoons?
@@rosedemello9945 Hi, Apparently, my comment is being deleted. If you do a web search for my screen name you'll find it. I don't post on these threads to drum up business. Lord knows I have all the business I need.
I remember visiting a farm home in Lijre, they said it was one of the first Danish communes. And they had Anders Roland play guitar at a barn dance!
New subscriber here & I finally found someone that is truly worth watching. Such a genuine person. God blessed you & I hope you see that. You will go far. So cute & easy on the eyes, love your accent🤗.
Thanks😊Welcome to the Channel!
Love your life style n your home . Glad u r doing presentation
😊
Im watching your channel from South Africa and really enjoy it. Thank you for sharing.
Great! And Thanks😃👏
Love your videos and perspective, much needed in the world today. And I could watch your dog resting by the fire all day everyday 🤦♂️
i will watch your Norwsy hiking video! You gotta do what you love even if it doesnt make money.
This is beautiful living❤❤
Your lifestyle is very calming and stress free. i will one day try to live like you
Simple and straight to the point. Life can be hard or easy as we can make it.
very very inspiring ...im here still working 9-5
thank you for your video.. it is sincere and honest also
For your youtube, As long as it is sincere and raw, i think people will like it.
i hope the data from your youtube videos dont stress you a lot.
Hi have a blessed day, it's good to live near nature it's simple and relaxing.
Loke me the divine likes what u do and look after u from the beyond . Frugal living is great 🎉
I love this kind of lifestyle and still trying to save some money to quit a full-time job to do something else or only part-time job in the future.
