South-central Wisconsin, USA. Most of the trees on my property are oak, jack-pine, and river-birch, but the black-locust saplings are also gaining ground. The oak branches in this video were from trees I lost in last year's drought.
Chamdar. First I'd like to say that you have some great reviews of the GSO series. Next I'd like to find out what it would cost to get the adaptation made that you have for your kydex sheath and the leather belt loop. I appreciate the time you put into making these videos!
bzelflipador, I sent you an e-mail via youtube, I hope it makes it to you. If not, check the details in my initial GSO-5.1 video linked above. Thank you for viewing and commenting!
Good vids, thanks for making them. I just got mine today in green canvas micarta, man i love it, its a hefty knife too, more than i imagined it would be.
Yeah, the thick stock with saber grind and unskeletonized tang on a long blade, it ain't light! But the balance is right-on, and that extra length gives it capabilities that a smaller blade just doesn't have. Thanks for watching!
Nice real world testing on a great knife! I'd love to see someone do an INFI vs 3v/Busse vs a GSO like an SOB vs a GSO 5. Thanks again for the videos!!
I've read that Busse-fans prefer 3V for edge-holding but INFI for choppers *shrug* The only INFI i own is a Hog Muk, but this summer I'll try to make a video like this one of it. I'd definitely watch a GSO-5 vs SOB video 8)
Somehow I never saw this comment, my apologies. There is a "Part 1" video in which i cut cardboard and make some wood shavings, and another video where I shave my face. The review linked in the comments includes images of such as well. The knife is well capable of both, indeed the edge-geometry is thinner than most production knives of this size that i have come across.

Indeed, i love the weight, doesn't botter me at all. I really love how solid it feel, and it look great.

Dude, what pants are those? Like the knife too, gonna get one.
+Nicholas Shotwell Duluth Trading Company "firehose" work pants, there is an outlet-store in my area. They are the most durable pants I've ever owned.
+Chiral Grolim, Thanks a lot!

Would u mind sending me an email about your sheat mod? Thx
