Prytool, and small Gerber keychain knife. It was awesome meeting with you and Greg in the store the other day!!! The fiancé really enjoys watching your videos with me and has become a super fan of y’all and knife collecting

I was just there 4 days ago buying a brand new Spyderco!!! Every year I go to Tennessee on vacation in the winter and every year I go to Smoky Mountain Knife Works and get a new knife been doing it for 20 plus years I freaking love The Knife Works
Loved this video. I own a few knives, but the one I treasure most was an old Gerber given to me by a retired Navy Chief that collected and traded antique knives. I started receiving your catalog 2 years ago and was blown away by your selection. I’ve told so many about your unbelievable stock and now I need to get busy and start ordering so I can do a pocket dump.
Pretty cool to see so many of the behind-the-scenes people, plus a few familiar faces. Today I have a Benchmade Mini Griptilian, a Leatherman Wingman exclusive from White Pass & Yukon Railroad, a Jowbeam knockoff flashlight, and a Victorinox Tinker with Zorro scales, purchased from SMKW at Blade Show in Atlanta last year.
Awesome video!! I was surprised by a lot of the carry’s. Not what I was expecting to see “in a good way”. That new roughrider was fantastic, and the Schatt and Morgan was awesome. I’m glad someone had a TOOR on them, becoming such a huge fan of them. 🍻

Starting at the bottom here and learning about all these brands, super steels etc....I can only move up and start to add more knives to collect. Cheers from Canada SMKW!
Loved seeing everyone's choices. Can't beat a good pocket check video. Today I'm carrying a WE Banter, solid little knife. I made my first video this week too showing EDC gear, inspired by all the awesome EDC videos on TH-cam, including yours. 👍🏻
On the daily I have a Spyderco Roadie on my keys, a neck knife, a Leatherman and a fixed blade on my belt (along with my Pew-Pew), a pry-bar and a folder in my R&L front pockets. I also carry a headlamp in my daily jacket pocket and sometimes I have an OTF in a back pant pocket as well as a Vic-nox on a lanyard.
I pretty much within the last couple of years got away from the "new hype of the week" stuff. I use most everything I carry now and have put away my custom higher dollar pieces. I've now gotten myself into the fixed blade frenzy and it's a lot of fun! Appreciate the show TC and all the good folks at SMKW

SMKW is great to buy from. some of my collection came from there. Some of my favorites that I own are all of my Microtech autos. Folders would be Benchmade as I worked 27 years in private security and always carried a griptilian. Fixed blade would be my Randall 14 attack with all the bells and whistles, Black micarta border patrol handle, stainless blade with saw teeth, nickel silver double curved hilt, and black sheath.

I’ve been to this store many times when I visit Tennessee. Never have an issue everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable and the selection is amazing. Never thought I would be a DPX guy, but the moment I held it I had to have it that was my last purchase from you guys few months back… I have a question. The fellah at the 10:22 mark of this video has some sick looking Oakleys on. Can you ask him what they are ?
Got a QSP Hawk. Honey Badger (small) that’s for my daughter. Camillus mini bushcraft (beater) and nebo 2000 (light). I usually only carry one blade but the honey badger is too much fun to fidget with. And I’m doing some grunge work. So the Camillus came out of retirement. Great video. Very likable people there.
I carry a Victorinox Huntsman every day of my life. HAHAHA. That new Victorinox that Jason has is a nice looking knife. If only it had scissors on it.😂
We went to pigeon forge for vacation back in 2018. I drove over to your store and was in Heaven!! One of the coolest places I’ve ever been to! Unfortunately I only had about 2 to spend so I was kinda rushed but it was still a great time and a great memory. Such a beautiful area too!! And I’m also a huge Spyderco fan!
I like the screen saver of the girl in the office. "I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, it's my ankle". That was an enjoyable video. I love the stories that go along with the knives. Everybody has one, a pocket knife and a story. So do I. About thirty years ago I lost a new folder I was carrying that had a pocket clip. I took it out to use and must have been standing in front my car at the time and then I put it back in my pocket or so I thought. I drove home from where I was about 20 miles from home. When I got home, I went to use my knife and it was gone. When I went to use my car, while approaching it from the front, I saw my new knife hanging from the front license plate frame and it was open hanging by the pocket clip just off the ground. The blade edge at the tip had a couple small chips in it from the drive home earlier, but it worked as normal. I call it my lucky knife.
Great video..! I loved seeing what everybody was carrying - this would be a very good regular “series” of videos. Today I’m carrying a Spyderco Para 3 LW and a Sage 5 LW. I love them both.
Been to SMKW number of times. Its a cool place. Bought a few blade's and several items for my firearms. There are so many knives and displays. Amazing what you can see there.
Great one terrific pocket dumps! The green edelweiss classic has been discontinued for a while. The Evoke looks very much like old Alox Hunter Pro. I also have that little cat Novelty knife!
What a fantastic show.. Brilliant idea. The question I have is, has the rough ryder reserve prototype that Brian had been released yet. I'm in the uk and the non locking blade is ideal. Thank you.
Another solid video my friend. My EDC list would be too much for my hands to type lol. Keep up the good work! Best place in the world to work over there.
Man awesome pocket check vid. As soon as that Raider knife comes out I want that! Today I have my Leatherman sidekick, an Ozark trail fixed blade, an old uncle Henry 124uh USA made I found at an antique store. Also my lumintop tool aa a Bic lighter and my worksharp pocket tool.
My dad had a sporting goods/gun shop for 30 years (I worked there off and on in high school and through college) and my brother worked in several big box sporting goods stores for 20 years. I can tell that working at the store and having access to deals and wholesale prices is items, what we bought then is much different than what we buy now that we don’t have access to those deals. What would be very interesting is to find out what ‘experts’, who pay the same prices for their items that the public pays, carry and use.
I have over three hundred knives, my most used and favorite is a old timer Barlow I got from you guys a couple of years ago. My most used knife in the military was a Swiss army knife with the pliars on it back in the early 90's.
I regret not visiting the store when I was down there years ago! I loved this video, got to see the nice people and cool knives at Smoky Mountain! I hope to get down there soon!
Good stuff! I’m always carrying one of my Strider SMF’s as my primary and usually a Case or Spyderco….lately it’s been my Emerson Mini CQC7NW though. For my flashlight I alternate between the Olight S2R2 and Fenix PD35. My wallet is the Maxpedition Micro Wallet that I’ve used for years. Pen is the Hinderer Investigator that’s been in my pocket everyday for the last 11 or 12 years now. Also carry an Aroundsquare Knucklebone and a Vox Snailor or two for fidgety stuff lol…..Rexford RUT for work…and SOMETIMES my Leatherman Wave+. Don’t carry it near as much as I should though.
Love those Bucks, S&W, C.R.K.Ts. Enjoyed this video and am patently waiting for the newest catalog. Hope to visit your showroom soon. Hey...... love that selection of Case also. Good work folks.👍🇺🇸🙂✌️
What a fantastic video! The laws about knife carrying are a bit tricky in my country, but I have a Spyderco Byrd Finch with me quite often. My ''home knife'' is the Astute.
I emptied one of my CR bags and I gave out the last Old Timer stockmans that I had to my Sons. Bought several back in the late 70s along with a few Bucks and Schrades when a local shop closed.
I am very much into utility/function over style. I have to ask, why carry 3, 4+ knives? Do they serve different purposes? Personally, Im like "Something needs cutting? Use the one knife I have on me."
For some of it us about different uses, prefer using one style to another for separate task, and Greg even keeps a personal food knife on him because he can never find a sharp steak knife at restaurants
WOW! I really enjoyed this " what are you carrying pocket dump" video ! Very entertaining! Its so interesting . My carry varies. This morning its a ZT 0452 in titanium with carbon fiber scale. A Benchmade SOCP Elite carbon fiber axis lock. And from SMK, the B'YND Navajo. A Gerber Covert Auto in S30V Plum/ Gray handle. Last, a Daggerr Vendetta frame lock in Titanium Satin Blade w in Blue Lighting.
Those are some awesome pocket checks!!!! I carry a black Microtech OTF with a bayonet smooth blade and a large Boker push button spring open and a tiny Boker of the same design for opening boxes.

Thanks for watching!
I carry a Victorinox Huntsman every day of my life. HAHAHA. That new Victorinox that Jason has is a nice looking knife. If only it had scissors on it.😂
Everything is better with scissors!
Thanks for making us a part of your vacation! We hope the next time you are in the area you get to stop by again 👍
I carry a Spyderco Delica.
always a great carry
Thanks for watching and that is a great knife tale! Thanks for sharing
This video is the strongest evidence to show why I never ask opinions of the store employees
Every one has opinions and thoughts and thanks for sharing yours
Great video..! I loved seeing what everybody was carrying - this would be a very good regular “series” of videos. Today I’m carrying a Spyderco Para 3 LW and a Sage 5 LW. I love them both.
That's awesome!
Been to SMKW number of times. Its a cool place. Bought a few blade's and several items for my firearms. There are so many knives and displays. Amazing what you can see there.
Thanks for stopping in and seeing us Liam!
Nice to see the employee of the month. She’s carrying a tenacious that’s my favorite Spyderco to carry every day.
We love the Tenacious!
Great one terrific pocket dumps!
The green edelweiss classic has been discontinued for a while.
The Evoke looks very much like old Alox Hunter Pro.
I also have that little cat Novelty knife!
For sure!
I’ve got plans to visit your store this fall. Super stoked!!!
Safe Travels!
Great selection guys.
Today I'm carrying my Kizer Vangino Zipslip, with blue G10 scales. Lovely little knife.
Love the Zipslip!
This is so fun to watch. I usually carry a Spyderco Endura, a Gerber Truss, a Victorinox SD and a Olight Warrior mini
Nice carry!
What a fantastic show.. Brilliant idea. The question I have is, has the rough ryder reserve prototype that Brian had been released yet. I'm in the uk and the non locking blade is ideal. Thank you.
Not yet but we are hoping they show up soon!
Another solid video my friend. My EDC list would be too much for my hands to type lol. Keep up the good work! Best place in the world to work over there.
We think so too! Thanks for watching!
I’d love to make a trip to the store. I think it’d be awesome.
I love seeing what the older fellas carry
If you ever find yourself in East Tennessee please stop in and see us
@@SMKWcom definitely will. Would be a priority and then fishing.
Thanks for the ride, man what a great bunch of people!!!!
Thanks for watching William!
@@SMKWcom that was my first pocket check, first video actually, had no idea SMKW was so BIG!! loved the behind the scenes shots once again THANK!!!
Love the pocket checks and to get to see SMKW employees at their work stations. Love SMKW and keep up the great work!!
Awesome carry!
Thanks for watching
I have over three hundred knives, my most used and favorite is a old timer Barlow I got from you guys a couple of years ago. My most used knife in the military was a Swiss army knife with the pliars on it back in the early 90's.
That sounds like a heck of a collection!
I regret not visiting the store when I was down there years ago! I loved this video, got to see the nice people and cool knives at Smoky Mountain! I hope to get down there soon!
We hope to get to see you soon and safe travels!
It was Nice seeing Jason on Screen Again miss seeing him from Guys Talk knives.
Jason is the mad man that keeps it all together behind the scenes now days!
The Snailor is so slept on!
Love those Bucks, S&W, C.R.K.Ts. Enjoyed this video and am patently waiting for the newest catalog. Hope to visit your showroom soon. Hey...... love that selection of Case also. Good work folks.👍🇺🇸🙂✌️
Thanks Mark!
Currently carrying my Leatherman wave gen 2, crkt Pilar green g 10 and victorinox deluxe tinker. Thanks for the great video.
Very nice carry and thanks for watching
What a fantastic video! The laws about knife carrying are a bit tricky in my country, but I have a Spyderco Byrd Finch with me quite often. My ''home knife'' is the Astute.
I emptied one of my CR bags and I gave out the last Old Timer stockmans that I had to my Sons. Bought several back in the late 70s along with a few Bucks and Schrades when a local shop closed.
Nice knives to pass along!
Oh you are absolutely awesome and that looks like an incredible place to work!
Work and play all in one!
@@SMKWcom I am a knife junky and looking to move on to a new career... you guys need more people over there?
Nice, makes me feel right at home when I empty my pockets! :-) any time line for that stag Shatt & Morgan folder? I didn't see it on the site yet
No ETA right now
WOW! I really enjoyed this " what are you carrying pocket dump" video ! Very entertaining! Its so interesting .
