This video took a long time to edit, but I am always experimenting with different kinds of videos! Let me know if you enjoyed, and if there is anything I can improve on! Thanks for watching and as always, timestamps are in the description. Have a wonderful day everyone
Great job, Daniel. You're a great teacher! Included all the important details. And I love how you wove in some ASMR at different times, like with the oil cap!
This is such a neat idea in combining two of your amazing skills, asmr and car mechanics! Thank you for sharing and for being a wonderful, wholesome person!
I’ve watched this a few more times. I want to impress on you how good of a job you did with this video. You look so cool next to your car. And teaching something like changing your oil is great knowledge for the old (me) and the new. Very cool.
Now can you make a detailed asmr how to take apart your dash, replace all your lights, replace your brake drums, install fog lights, replace a windshield, and clean a truck?
Your concept is nothing short of brilliant! 🌟 The notion of disseminating essential information in an ASMR format is akin to discovering a hidden treasure chest at the end of a rainbow. 🌈🎙 Imagine it: whispers of wisdom, gentle tapping, and the soothing rustle of knowledge-what a symphony for the senses! 🎧📚
I'll be honest, I don't often if ever listen to male ASMR (I just personally don't find it as relaxing or anything), but this is actually amazing and I love it so much. Not only are you relaxing people, but you're also helping people to learn a very valuable skill that they could put to use very often. Beautiful car as well, the wheels/tires, fitment, all the little mods I noticed that give it an OEM+ look, are just mint 👌🏻
A tip: pour the new oil with the bottle facing the other way. Having the mouth of the bottle on the high side of the bottle lets you tip the bottle over way further before oil comes out, so it's a lot easier to not spill any. It also makes the oil come out of the bottle as a smooth pour, not all glug glug glug which again is easier to not spill
Changing an oil of a car is something i never thought i would see in an asmr video. At this point your channel is not only for asmr but to also learn new skills ❤
Hey Daniel!! My favorite asmr guy! Hope ya had a good Easter. You’re being of service to us in two ways….oil change instructions AND asmr!! Awesome!! 🫶🏼🤟
Please make this a series. I was just looking for videos like this, which explains things for new car owners who have no prior experience or technical/ mechanical knowledge. And learning it via asmr videos would be sooo relaxing and helpful.
so happy you explained priming the filter gasket. the amount of people who come into my work and their gasket is all messed up bc they didn’t is crazy😭
Mechanic here ✋ The reason to remove the oil call first is to make sure it's not jammed on before draining it You don't have to stress about vacuum 😊 Your engine has a breather(s) in the valve cover I love your MX5. Wish I bought one before they tripled in price here in Australia 🦘 Great video Great audio
Surprisingly both informative and relaxing video! As an NA owner and tech I'd like to point out.. For that jack issue just grab the sill and lift the car up. You can lift these cars by an inch or two by hand. With a fuel cutoff/killswitch (do recommend) you can prime the whole oiling system by cranking the engine a while before starting, no need to fill the filter.
I loved this so much!!! I know less than zero about cars but you did such a flawless job of making something I wouldn’t normally associate with asmr TOTALLY WORK as asmr. Loved the way you incorporated the sounds of all of the items you used, as well. Loved this SO much! 👏💜👏
bro the way you speak here, the audio, all those little sounds of the car etc, everything is just perfect. please do more stuff like this, for example car repairing. I get tingles from this all the time no matter how many times ive watched it
Got to learn so much from you today, really impressive. Love how you incorporate not just a relaxing asmr here but a great place to learn about different things. Thank you Daniel, sending you love and light❤✨
Tremendo este video, solo quiero decir 4 cosas. Primero, me encantó el video tutorial, súper relajante y entretenido (recomendable). Segundo: Francia (siendo argentina, estoy básicamente obligada a decirlo). Tercero: felicitaciones por todo el trabajo de edición, porque se nota y el resultado es muy bueno. Cuarto: ¡hermoso auto! Honestamente estoy muy feliz con este canal, amo🌟
I always wait for your videos, you always provide something new and unique that people don't get bored of seeing.....you are very creative and I hope you can make videos with other ideas 😊❤️
Just a tip, 1st gear is better when trying to stop a car from rolling. The shorter gear ratio means the engine will resist rolling better. But your ebrake works and you're plenty careful so I wouldn't worry about it. Love the video 🤙
FYI when putting your car in gear when parking, its usually best to use first (or reverse if facing downhill). This provides the most resistance to the engine turning, and it will be the hardest for it to move if the emergency brake fails. Great video!
I actually didn’t know this. For some reason I thought it was the opposite (put it in the highest gear) but I am wrong! I guess I never realized that the engine spinning the wheels vs the wheels spinning the engine is opposite for gearing. Makes sense, thank you! 🙏🏼
I've never had my own car and probably never will, but not only was this video very relaxing, it was also very interesting and unusual. thanks for another masterpiece💌 btw your car looks so so cool
This is just a thought I had: It would be kinda cool if you would make like a series of “teachings” where you would teach us random stuff. Like a video series where you would teach us “Life tasks” and stuff. I think that could be very funny and probably super helpful for many people. "Teachings on how to master life" or just Life Hacks related to all sorts of topics (but in a ASMR style of course). So then people could watch your videos for entertainment & relaxation (ASMR) And also use them as "Guidance, instructions, or lessons" to learn and master new things. I have never watched an asmr video where they type out what they are going to say. But reading the text while your saying it definitely gave me tingles.
😍😍😍Car stuff!!!🥳what a treat, thank you Daniel!! Top of the line whispers 😁 and the way you explain things is absolutely fab...Clear, simple, easy, no frills...and relaxing. Perfect, in my humble opinion. Question for ya. It's very very hard here in Italy to find a second hand Mazda. I'm guessing owners just stick with them forever😂... just wondering whether it might be something to do with the rotary engine (apologies, I'm not too familiar with the technical lingo in English 😬 ) lasting longer (I don't even know whether that's the case) or what else. What do you think? Thank you for yet another super-interesting and snooze-inducing session! 👋😘💫✨
You’re so kind, thanks for watching! I’m not sure about Mazdas in Italy, but you can get them for a decent price here in the states! My Miata is a 1.8L inline 4, so it is not a rotary
You should! It’s really not as hard as it might seem. Just need to make sure you take ALL of the safety precautions. Safety is very important! Thanks for watching 😄🤙🏼🦙
This is actually very smart. You should make tutorial vids specifically for brake fluid and then another for air coolant and all those other things people should be checking on their car.
OMG....I cannot believe my eyes.....I thoughta asking yu a full pic of yu but I lost my train of thought.....was way too happy seeing yur full pic🤍🥂......and also I'm soo addicted to yur precision tool asmr video which was an wholesome✨
If you onw a Ford Focus you should also get an aftermarket bolt, they seem to have a problem that appears to be an oil leak, but its really just that the factory oil plugs don't seal worth a crap.
Almost all of my cars have been V8s, even now I have a P38 Range Rover which just like yours is a 90s legend, but I am used to big ass oil filters, seeing your filter give me the epiphany that I’m a gas guzzler feign. Once I had a 318ti and it was the most fun driving I’d ever had. I WANT ANOTHER CAR AGAIN!
Great video, I do want to chime in and say it is smarter to lift both sides of the car when draining the oil so that it drains everything in the pan, and depending on where the oil pan is located, if you only jack one side, it may keep some in the pan even when you think you got it all.
This is true, but it’s difficult to raise and lower my car since it’s so low to the ground. Also, that’s why in the video I lower my car down while the oil plug is out so that it can drain fully. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼😄
😮 WOW love this video...been a long time since high school days for me... but that's something my dad & brother taught me how to do 😊 Ty for the refresher course... love this video....❤ have a blessed day Daniel 💕
