Getting back up and running with the Trek reviews first, but as I get back back into the swing of things and rebuild my confidence I'll be looking at the other shows and movies. Trek will always be number one here, but I love all SF. Makes sense to explore some of it, right? Should be a fun adventure!
Sorry for your recent loss of your grandparents. Like you my Grandma (who practically raised me) was the person who got me into Star Trek. Letting 5 year old me stay up late & watch TWoK on VHS. I was hooked & then saw Space Seed on TV the following week. Her last Xmas gift to me was the novelisation of Broken Bow. Before Enterprise premiered in UK. I really looking forward to the new direction & approve of a little chaos lol I wish you all the best of luck for the future & LLAP 🖖🏻

1st well as a Boomer who grew up watching the TOS ..in blk and white.... Im looking forward to Starfleet Academy ....Ill watch anything TREK. Sorry bout' your Grandma.....best to you!

I've been enjoying watching them with the colour turned off to simulate how many people first experienced the show. Somehow it's given the show a bit of a different perspective for me. I think I might like it more.
Sorry to hear about the various tough things going on for you. I understand the frustration of doing scripted videos. I’m the same, takes me absolutely ages to script and then if it’s a voice over type video also an age to edit. I’m usually happy and proud with the results I just wish it was easier for me to make that type of video.
Thanks mate :) I love a scripted video - they're usually sharper and make better points. But when making them, I tend to default to this horrible version of myself where everything *has* to be perfect. It's a draining process that's not working for me right now. I'm sure I'll feel the urge to make something a little more scripted down the line, but for now I'm embracing my imperfect self. Should be fun!
Good to hear we will be getting more Trek Lad. I've never seen Babylon 5 past the first terrible pilot but people keep telling me it's great. I may have to watch it when you review it. If I can find it.
I've always wanted to give it a serious go as I love DS9 so much. I'm sure I'll get around to it. The first non-Trek show I look at will almost definitely be the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, though, so it might be a wait!

Babylon 5 is iconic 90s sci-fi. Luv it.
I vaguely remember watching it with my grandparents as a kid. Time to give it a proper watch I reckon.
