    Can fellowship considered as Evidence of onetime achievement? What about a "lesser nationally or internationally recognized price"?

    It was a very informative video Dr. Tariq. I have on question. If I am on J1 and i meet the requirements for EB1, will i still have to complete the waiver before getting greencard? or I'll be able to get greencard without doing waiver?

    Hi, I'm on a j2 dependent visa with my EAD and can work full-time. However, my wife who is completing her medical residency is about to get her h1b sponsored job in a hospital. Now the question is how this will impact my visa and my work permit would I be forced to get h4 visa and sit idle until she gets her Form I 140 or can I get a different visa? I am really concerned as I'm a highly-paid software engineer and can't afford to lose work or have uncertainty.

    I have a simple question that I hope someone can answer, how difficult it is to match into an img friendly program (like neurology for example) that agrees to sponsor h1b visa for me? They say h1b Visa is harder to get than j1, so how can i increase my chances to get h1 ? Are there specific requirements beside passing the step 3 exam?

    • @mededia
      @mededia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some programs offer it while others dont. You need to pass step 3, find those programs that offer H1 and apply to those selective programs. These programs are decreasing every year.

    If I do research on J1 research visa now, and residency in H1 visa later. Would I still need to do a 3yr waiver job?
    Or J1 research visa is different then J1 visa for residency and waiver job is not needed.

      Hi, thank you for your kind words. There are waiver jobs in both far flung areas as well as areas that are 2-3 hours from big cities. The salary and work life balance is variable. Some places pay decent and has good work life balance whereas there are others completely opposite too. Good luck!

    • @mededia
      @mededia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the program mainly. ECFMG files J1 whereas program pays for H1 which is roughly $9000-10000. That's why few programs are hesitant unless they have a system in place!
