Futari was released on the 360 back in 2009. But aside from an iOS release, it’s sadly never made it to any other consoles, so it gets pretty pricy. Same with Muchi Muchi Pork, another fun but rare CAVE SHMUP.

And while I really really like Mushi, I adore DoDonPachi, so I can't wait for that to release. That said, my dream port would be either Ibara Kuro or Pink Sweets - Cave and Yagawa in one, what's not to love?

I raced to Play Asia to get Japanese eShop credit when I saw it drop on Twitter as I'd made the incorrect assumption it was Japan only and ended up paying over the odds. They messed up the release. I hope we see Futari, its arrange is mega.
Just tested it for more. The replay has serious desync issues. Basically during the replay desyncs will occurs and somehow it will make mistakes and dies, causing the rest of the replay being desync or even more, eventually getting a game over and ending the replay. Basically not only leaderboards are missing but replays are useless for now. So in reality we better play the game like none of these console based features exists (saving for arrange mode)
6:10 - "scoring mechanics are nowhere near as intricate...." This made me laugh :) Mushihimesama has, possibly THE most intricate scoring system and mechanics in all Cave shmups.

Unfortunately this game has been delisted on the Switch store due to a license issue. The same version is on Steam although it lacks the 1.5 mode which must be purchased separately as DLC.
Can you make a Video how to Set Up Jpn ACC. And then with THE smuo Insider knowledge whats to Look Out for what Symbols devs , exclusive Games etc.??? Would BE great . Tribvtes FROM Germany Europe

I'll probably hold off ordering the Limited Run release until it gets near the end of its pre-order period. If there's a Jp physical announced by then, I'll go for that. If not, I'll just have to deal with Limited Run. Not ideal, but they're better than nothing.
It is if you play the original arcade version, for sure. However, these console ports (same for Espgaluda II) have been given novice modes that are far more approachable for newer players.
You can max out the screen in the options. On Tate, a zoom of 150% gets rid of the left and right bezels. And if you want (blasphemy!!) you can still stretch it out vertically (and horizontally) to fill the screen using Y (and X) axis zoom. Now go buy it dammit!! 😃

@Keith Courage RX-78-2 it’s like a gacha system. You play certain stages, you win tickets and basically “roll” for furniture items
