Hey, do you know where you can get that gas pedal linkage? I’ve been looking for one of those and they are hard to find
I have a 1971 Ford F100 with a 240 inline 6 and a 1 barrel carburetor. I have never been able to get the tuning quit right. It runs great but smokes all the time and I don’t know what I need to do to clean up the exhaust fumes.
So when I tried using the vacuum gauge on mine, the gauge was jumping so bad I couldn't get a good reading. Is this caused by a vacuum leak?
@PetesGarage At about
Not sure if you still follow questions on this post but heres a shot.
I have a 1986 Ford 300 FI......I want to change it over to carburetion.....I would appreciate your suggestions and inputs....Thanks, La Grange, Texas
If it was out of a Falcon it was not a 240 which was the big block 6 in the 240/300 family used for full size cars and trucks. Probably a 250 which was same block as 170/200 with a slightly taller height.
What vacuum gauge are u using there?
Good video!
Great video!
I been seeing plenty of people using the 1100 autolite because of the 3/16 smaller diameter it increases velocity and low end torque.H.P. decreases only moderately on rhe high end where you don't use these engines
Pete what was the The plate between the Carburetor and The head And where could I get one of them
Amazing, Cape Shank along with its Light House is just around the corner from where I live in Australia.
Thanks, best video I have seen on yt yet, going to give it a try, wouldnt have tried done it with out your video, thanks again. (65 mustang 200 ci barn find, )
Having trouble with 76 ford 300 how would i remove smog to make it work
Hi, How many PSI vacuum for a Ford 250 ci six inline?
I put it in what looks like the same port on the manifold, but there is no pressure at all. the gauge is at zero. what am I doing wrong? I blew into the hose and the vacuum gauge is working.
Better choice is a 4 barrel manifold 4 barrel carburetor and a header, you will have twice as much power and great gas mileage
Dang Pete one of your vids helped me convert an old AC system to R134 like a year ago and now here you pop up again trying to figure out a carb for my Falcon
Hi. I have almost the same problem, but I am looking for the spacer you have on your car, what is it so I can look it up? I don't need the spacer to fit the 100, I have the carb you have but need the spacer. Thank you!
