hi kayli! im an iceskater and a month ago ,i broke my nail while skating,i didnt really take care of my nails ever ,my nails were long but thin. i watched your cuticle care video and did some of my own research.your video helped me so much! my nails are now a bit longer,not as long as my old nails ,but theyre now much stronger and not as prone to breaking,cracking and chipping ,thank you so much!!also keep up with the amazing content kayli!
I feel like these could still break if you fall on it while skating, and would be far more painful

These came out so good! i juyst wanted to let you know tho that hard gel and builder gel are two different things, the main difference is that hard gel can not be soaked off, only filed off and builder gel is soak off :) also since your nails are thin and bendy I wouldn't recommend hard gel for them bc it can actually make your nails more prone to fully break and also lift bc there is no give to it, but your nails bend quite a bit!
Guuuurrrlll! This was so amazing! Can you do a slower in depth break down of how you did the shorter nails some day for us newbies one day? 🥺 My nails grow long, but there’s always that ONE or FIVE that don’t cooperate 😩 lol 😂. Awesome video! You can’t even tell the difference between the two hands!
my nails were so thin before, but when I decided to make them long I started doing somethings that helped them being a little stronger.. the first thing I notice for them not to break is to always put something on the nail, not leave them for a week without manicure (for me I use nail polish every week and change the color when they are peeling off), another thing is to use nail polish remover WITHOUT acetone in it, that’s so important! my nails became so much stronger because of it.. I also apply a nail hardener solution (idk what is called ) before I apply the nail polish itself, and for last I started to take vitamins everyday
another thing.. I used to file the top layer of my nail with that cube file thing every time I did manicure, but that thinners the nail, now I do that only when I have a lot of bumps that are showing through the nail polish
as a new nail tech myself i can assure you that all of this is super good for your nails, thank you for sharing, this could be useful for other people, just be careful when buffing your natural nails 💗
roller oil/perfume bottle with garlic pieces and olive oil for my cuticles >>>> gave me quick noticeable results (7-10 days)
this is literally the coolest thing over ever seen i had no idea something like this existed
im glad im not alone in the one hand with long nails and one hand without..
1. First step of growing your nails wearing nail polish all the time
2. Have cuticle oil all the time
3. Be careful slow down of going into water don’t go into water with naked nails
4. Don’t bite your nails from not biting your nails put nail polish or if that doesn’t help put pretty designs so you won’t bite your nails.
Don’t always wear gel based and all this other products on your nails it just damaged your nails I hope this helps
Your nails are so long! They look amazing! I have the same issue with naturally weak nails and can only grow mine the same way through gel x or builder gel
My natural nails were actually as long as the ones shown on the thumbnail but I broke my index fingernail so I cut them all off. Now I’m half way there again. My nails grow extremely fast which I love

I'm not a nail tech, so take this with a grain of salt, but do you think you might be over-filing your sidewalls? I know you've said you like thin nails but I know the sidewalls are one of the big strength spots like the apex. Either way, your nails are beautiful! Have you ever done a video where you get your nails done by someone else, just for fun? I would love to see that!

So I want to grow out my natural nails , but I’ve tried it before loads of times and they always look ugly during growth😕 Do I buy a builder off Amazon and go for it or shall I just not? I’m tempted to grow them out again and see how they go! Everytime I grow them out , they grow quite strong! If you think I should grow them out could you suggest a good builder gel? hey, in your intro you mentioned you used hard gel to help grow your nails, but then you used a soft gel (it can be soaked off) in the demo. Were you referring to a different product in the intro, or by hard gel did you mean a structure/builder gel. Hard gels are less flexible and can only be filed off. but otherwise a great video!

So happy to see another girl with bendy nails, on one hand the elasticity makes them bend instead of breaking most of the time, but they are so thin and split. Next paycheck I'm getting nail oil and new nail polish and nail tools and am gonna give a good shot at taking care of them

You can use nail silk and biab too to help fix a broken nail, it’s how I fix mine. Apply the sticky-back silk patch onto the broken area, brush on BIAB over it so it is covered thoroughly, and cure. Remove sticky layer and file it, and carry on! I like this method because it means I don’t need to extend my nails, and seeing as I wear long natural nails with overlays, I don’t have all the things needed for extending them like forms, and skill 😅
awe yes i tried this a long time ago along with the tea bag method. it’s good but definitely doesn’t have the same longevity as using gel and forms for me!

That builder gel is the coolest invention ever, I’ve never thought of finding a free edge color.
You really should try that Mani Q with keratin and I have definitely seen a difference in my nails 💅 and being a content creator on nails we have to take care of our natural nails other wise we won't be able to have extension of their nails

The thing I realized than I got fake nails for the first time by a friend of us (not professional) that you better don't have any wounds on your nails. Otherwise the products you put on will burn under the blue light

My thin nails were due to a thyroid problem. I didn't notice any change in how I felt but since I've been medicated my hair and nails grow much better and also my skin isn't as dry

Hey i have a serious question, can we use typical nail GLUE to stick SOFT GEL TIPS instead of GEL GLUE?? I have seen some people they don't use the gel glue instead of that they use normal glue which they also use to stick tips on natural nail. And since I have seen your videos you told us that using primer, dehydrator and gel glue, (basically prepping up) and then doing nails will last for long. So if we don't do this and straight away stick SOFT GEL TIPS WITH NORMAL NAIL GLUE will last for long????
