Weep you no more sad fountains; What need you flow so fast? Look how the snowy mountains Heav'n's sun doth gently waste! But my sun's heav'nly eyes View not your weeping, That now lies sleeping. Softly now softly lies sleeping, sleeping. Sleep is a reconciling A rest that peace begets; Doth not the sun rise smiling When fair at even he sets? Rest you, then, rest, sad eyes! Melt not in weeping, While he lies sleeping, Softly now softly lies Sleeping, sleeping.
I love this sound and she has an amazing voice. I'd like it more if she slowed it down a bit. It sounds a little rushed. Could be the speed of my audio in this app too.
all I hear is the song I'm trying to find the original song that is in the key of F and it is played on piano only for one person you know solo.this song is really annoying she did a good job and what not its just I'm trying to find the original song by Roger quilter that is in the key of F and its made for solo you know I don't want this Sense and Sensibility crap I need the original song
I cant stop watching this effortless performance. Chen Reiss you are amazing.
Such an exquisite voice.
Weep you no more sad fountains;
What need you flow so fast?
Look how the snowy mountains
Heav'n's sun doth gently waste!
But my sun's heav'nly eyes
View not your weeping,
That now lies sleeping.
Softly now softly lies sleeping,
sleeping.
Sleep is a reconciling
A rest that peace begets;
Doth not the sun rise smiling
When fair at even he sets?
Rest you, then, rest, sad eyes!
Melt not in weeping,
While he lies sleeping,
Softly now softly lies
Sleeping, sleeping.
LOVELY lyrical voice.
Excellent interpretation.

Beautiful! Do we know if this piece could be sung by a tenor?
She sings this song with huge epression and honnest.
Thats so beautiful!
Did I miss something, or why does she need a microphone?
Thank you
Hermoso....
Can someone tell me is she what you would call a lyrical soprano...
❤️🥀
Weird tempo.
Right?

@Calitme Dion lol exactly what i was thinking ahaha
Just no. Why is she rolling her r's? Jane Eaglen is so much better .
Rather pedestrian attempt. The voice is extremely tense and shakes at times which is completely unpleasant. Jane Eaglen remains queen of this aria.
Clueless.
