Alas, it's all for show as Al Neri's face makes perfectly clear. In fact each movement of this immortal piece evokes a segment of that iconic movie which is now firmly embedded in our psyches. Fabulous music indeed.

The terrifying beauty of the blooming of the 'reddest' rose in the backdrop of 'darkest' night. Like we are not reminded about the terrible love affairs we had by anyone. Fabulous and that mandolin player was quite the looker too.
Nino Rota was a total maestro of musical composition. His music is what got me into classical. And even now, I consider him the superior over most orchestral/classical artists. Not many people remain the penultimate over their competitors after death. Nino Rota and his master work live on through his immaculate, beautiful pieces.
