Definitely looking for an updated / modernized version of these videos. Its obvious many of these weren't practical and I honestly expected more from this channel.
I think the only think wrong in these outfits was the Sandals and The cargo pants. everything else was dashing as can be. Navy Blazer has been and always will be a classic.
A scarf with open toed sandals? I dont even know where to begin on how insipid this is.....and a schleppy white t under a blazer looks sloppy, and no one in their right mind should be
@@jasminderpinder sweater and blazer doesn't necessarily look bad - see Philip Seymour Hoffman's last outfit in the Talented Mr ripley for an example. He's just a terrible stylist
guys you're the one, my interview is sorted. At first thought that the green pants with side pockets were too much out of the workplace, but the Biomba and the Gucci really helped me to get it right. Love you so so much.
i am 6'2" and am thinking of getting a regular size to try and get the shorter blazer look as shown in this video. looks much trendier than the classical sizing.
navy blue suede lace up desert boots with stone coloured tapered jeans with a crisp white shirt tucked into the jeans accompanied with silver cufflinks and for the grand finale the fitted navy blazer. style icon right there
you can often find a lot of similar items to these at stores like H&M for a very reasonable price. then you can combine to create similar looks. hope that helps
This video was from a very long time ago and the shirt with the green pants was very beautiful at the time. And number three is just a formal suit with pants in a different color, and the most beautiful thing left is jeans with a shirt, which is still beautiful. Note that currently I do not like to wear a blazer with jeans very much. It is preferable that the jeans be black or at least white. This is a formal suit jacket, and it is preferable to wear a blazer or a sports coat.
+ManCave Mayhem . I highly agree. I think only someone in their early 20s or younger would consider wearing the eccentric styles demonstrated in the earlier versions. The point of dressing up is so that people appreciate our effort to look presentable.
I'm in Europe and I wouldn't ruin people's day by letting them see me like that, especially those green pants and that scarf and sandals combo, new tier of evil
Everyone's complaining about the first three outfits being bad, but i think that those 3 are the most interesting. Fashion is about experimenting and being creative. Most of you guys would swap the more "statement pieces" for a more classic item. But that would just make those outfits boring. Everyone knows how to wear a navy blazer, this video shows how to wear it differently. It's not like he is wearing a traffic cone or smt like on the runways.
That's the comments section for you; Where a fully produced video is dismissed as silly, frivolous, or lacking in good taste from self-appointed fashion experts.
@@halfthefiber I know right? If these outfits are bad in their minds they should just wear a navy blazer, white pants, a blue OCBD and brown dress shoes...the problem is that that's literally what everyone else is doing. It is like making a "How to where a black suit" video...there is really only one way...
i think this was the best blazer video ive seen with all the clips on youtube. Great detail, love all the shoes, comments, and thoughts. Great use of the tie and green pants. I would have liked to see the outfits for a longer time, and to look at the side and back of the outfit. But this video was great and helped me alot. Thank you
could you replace the oxfords of the preppy look, the sandals of the summer in the city look, and the monkstrap of the timeless look with appropriate loafer or slip on? fashion is supposed to reflect the wearer.
I'm wondering what kind of summers are you experiencing. Because if you'd wear that navy jacket in the summer here in Hungary you would die of overheating in like 5 minutes. Nice combinations , although that green pants and those green shoes were pretty ugly tbh...
green boogie pants got to go
Definitely.
Sarah Ownens....boogie pants? lol What's the matter with a pop of color contrasted with the deep navy jacket?
got to go to the incinerator

Hahaha. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that.
A scarf during the summer as well.
The weekend getaway looks really awesome :)
the only good ones were the last two, everything else was just plain terrible
Absolutely
Totally agree. Those two were the best, and please, NO sweater/jumper underneath.
@@jasminderpinder sweater and blazer doesn't necessarily look bad - see Philip Seymour Hoffman's last outfit in the Talented Mr ripley for an example. He's just a terrible stylist
The look 01 = Mind = Blowing. Awesome colors.
I love the 'timeless and appropriate'. It just oozes class!
Your presentation n music blends.....as well as the talking.....thanks....much better than the 5 i ve seen....more appealing....
Those green trousers looked very cool with the ensemble. I didn't expect that. I'll try getting more colour in my trousers now. :D
man that guys measurements must be perfect, everything fits him amazingly
I have an old pinstripe navy jacket but couldn't figure out what to do with it. Will definitely try out the preppy and timeless looks :)

The last look was good. Especially the shoes.
Thanks, Mr. Porter. Who makes the brown scarf at around the 2:20 mark?
Good timing of the video. I've been meaning to buy a navy blazer and looking for inspirations
The fitted blazer is here to stay. Guaranteed. And thank God for that.
With so many clothing references I would like to see possible link(s) to the pieces, if at all available to purchase.

Last look was definitely the best in my opinion.
2:50 Best outlook soo far,
Green pants are you kidding me? and whats are those shoes!!! 2:20 .. Kill me
You nailed all the looks, excellent style channel.
Where can i get that Gucci tie?? Its beautiful
Outrageous taste Mr Porter
My favorite looks are The Preppy Update and Timeless & Appropriate. Classic looks that always work.
The green shoe is sooo dope

Loved all except for that one with the green pants.
Very last one was the only acceptable one to me. I hated the others. If you want to go casual, lose the blazer and go with a vest instead.
agree
+ManCave Mayhem Agreed
+ManCave Mayhem I didn't mind the prep if they could learn to have the trousers break at the correct point and wear socks.

MrSupernova111 I'm in my early 20s and think that going ridiculously over the top is just gauche.
I think the first outfit shows that when things fit right on the body it makes anything stylish.
Don't think I'd be able to pull off though.
What do these guys have against socks!!??
This was good to watch all styles once again in last.
Can't wear any of these without looking a little bit odd, unless you're in Europe.
I'm sure it would be odd even in europe
I'm in Europe and I wouldn't ruin people's day by letting them see me like that, especially those green pants and that scarf and sandals combo, new tier of evil
Where can I buy the White Plain T-Shirt that the guy wear in the second style ?
Where can I find those green suede shoes?
Hi thank you for these beautiful looks!
What is the shoe that goes with look 5? Can you let me know the brand name?
I really need to get that song! what a riff...
First of all, I loved all the looks and second wow that model was very handsome.

Excellent looks. Great video!

I'm extremely tempted to say momotaro, but the logo and the trademark pocket stitching are not present.
thanks
Making the transition into a more 'grown' look lol....The preppy look was really nice! Those suede shoes.
Can I wear black chinos with navy blue blazer and white shirt with navy blue floral pocket square?
at 2:00 what is the name of the Scandinavian designer?
It's a Danish brand called NN.07 with the NN standing for "No Nationality". You can find them on nn07.com.
Summer, sandals, SCARF?! HA are you fucking mad?!
The summer in the city, weekend getaway and the timeless and appropriate were very good. Sophisticated and elegant. I like it. 👍☺💕
Can you PLEASE list where you found those derbies in the “ weekend getaways” look?
wow great video. Well done!
who's the model?
sshhaannee10 the guy in the video
"Timeless & appropriate" and "Summer in the city", the best LOL...
none of these look half decent.
+yoanizer THe middle ones does..the rest look horribly gay.
This all looks so perfect...
How do they do this every time?
My most favorite is number 3.

i like the get-up in 3:00.... and i love your walls!
Does anyone know the brand or name of the cargo trousers used in this video?
The Weekend Getaway is my favorite
Anyone knows what is the hairstyle that the model is wearing? It looks very classic and a response would be appreciated :)
Does anyone know the name of the jazz song in the background?
the 2nd fit helped me a lot in picking out what to wear on a date! thanks :)
I don't even have a favourite this time, just love all five of them!! :D
Turtle neck sweater with blazer ?
In look 4, the model is wearing light wash selvedge denim. Could anyone shed some light on the brand/model? Thanks.
Very well done, sir!
The navy blue blazer you can wear any colors pants with white shirt
These look so good he's so handsome
timeless and appropriate, thanks.
Simply put, but very effective segment....great ideas.
Timeless and Appropriate is awesome attire...
Every single one of these outfits was absolutely atrocious except the last one

where are those jeans from

so good!
anyone knows name of the model?
Nice savings on those trousers there.
Never wore a scarf with a blazer I think I will try that in my own personal style
Love these videos
what is the song in the video?
couldn't you pair a olive or turquoise coloured trousers instead of the bright light green with the loafer?
I see, but I think it's easier to make luxurious looks rather than "budget". What's more, we would be able to see another Mr.Porter
very nice
All of them are nice.

1:22 anyone who knows what brand those shose are, please tell me!

Thank you for this!!
