This is so right!! 😃My top three: 1 Navy 2 Grey for most people, but for me I almost rather wear a Olive 3 Olive, or grey. Olive is so underrated. I never thought I would wear it. Until tried it, and now love it!! 👌😊👍
You are using the term blazer for sport coat. A blazer is either navy or black, can be single or double breasted and does always have metal, usually brass, buttons.
I just got a dark gray blazer. Matching it with a burgundy dress shirt with black pants and black shoes. Going to a wedding. Should I wear a tie or no tie?
Hi there , I’m in the uk.....can I ask ? Are you talking about sports jackets here ......?...as far as I’m aware , a blazer has shiny buttons and a more solid colour?.....please confirm as Im confused
I really think only a navy blazer is an absolute must-have from the list, and I insist on shiny brass or gold-tone metallic buttons. The buttons are a critical accent to the blazer that harkens back to its naval origin (if you accept that story). For the addition, I usually go with a dark tan or brown tweed sport coat.
Could we get a video on Dorian’s wardrobe and his favorite outfits? He’s awesome and I feel like that’d be a very useful and entertaining video! Thanks for all the amazing content!
Ashley , i like this video! i would to see a video on a man's minimalist wardrobe or interchageable wardrobe! for men who can work with a variety clothes without the clutter in his closet! thanks!
Great video as always. Been looking into this channel always and it never disappoints. Just one thing, could you guys upload a video about maybe a routine Ashley’s clients do to slim down if they need to slim down in an allotted set of time? I just felt like it would be beneficial to us viewers since we don’t really have the luxury to keep buying clothes that fit. Thank you and more power!!
Nice video. Great help. Can you do a video on trousers?? Like what type of trousers men should wear for everyday work, casual outings and dinner dates. Thanks.
I could be wrong but halfway through this video, I had this feeling that you guys could be the "poster couple" for the concept that yes, there is one perfect person for everyone.
I agree with respect to a navy blazer, but the pictures looked more like a suit jacket, which can’t be substituted for a blazer. You also need to learned the difference between a blazer and a sport coat. After the navy blazer everyone you showed was a sport coat.
what about a black blazer? It is underrated as black can be versatile. black is associated with authority making your look more authoritative along with being a bad boy.
Blazers have gold, brass, or white buttons with traditionally a single vent and is usually Navy, but can also have bold, vividly colored strips. That being said, none of the items you displayed were blazers, they're all "Sport Coats" .
I might have over looked this since I do not watch every video, but the guy you show cloth on are all skinny. I'm in extremely good shape and will never look like a runner. Cloths that look awesome on a runner do not look so hot on someone that has any muscle mass. Thanks.
I mentioned this to a few fellas I know.. Cowboy Ed, plumber George, logger Phil, and saw-filer Ivan. They all laughed like mad and told me to GFO. Every man? You folks are sick in the head. What kind of silly ass elitist bubble do you live in anyway?
That's interesting. I draw distinctions between suit coats, blazers, and sport coats, but I don't care about the distinction between Oxford button down shirts and other dress shirts. More precisely, I prefer Oxford button downs over all other dress shirts for all occasions (except weddings when I'm in the wedding party). While some argue that Oxford button downs aren't dress shirts or shouldn't be worn with suits, I find an equal number of sartorially inclined commentators to express views that align with my own. But getting back to blazers etc., I definitely draw distinctions.
awlabrador bro how are you going to mention distinctions between the blazers and sport coats but go off tangent about button down shirts and not specify the distinction. What's your point and if so, validate it
Suson M For another video, Ashley stated that she didn’t usually dress her clients in suits with Oxford button-down shirts, as she felt the OBS’s (getting tired of typing it out) have a somewhat too-casual vibe for suits. I disagree and wear OBS’s with suits as well as for business casual. My point was not a statement about proper fashion but rather that, though I do respect her advice tremendously (!!!), I still make my own final fashion decisions. (Still not into suede shoes...) (I actually think the button collar lends structure to the OBS collar even without the tie and therefore adds a bit of formality rather than detracts from it. A non-OBS without a tie is actually incomplete, IMO, while an OBS looks fine with or without a tie. As for blazer vs. sport coat, there are already tons of web pages describing the difference. For most people, I agree it’s not significant, but I’ve been wearing navy blazers for decades. It’s a personal favorite item of mine, so I stick with the traditions. And I insist on the shiny buttons. 😉)
You don’t know what a blazer is compared to a sports coat. Maybe you should consider a different line of work since you seem to know little about mens’ tailoring

This is so right!! 😃My top three:

3 Olive, or grey.
Olive is so underrated. I never thought I would wear it. Until tried it, and now love it!! 👌😊👍
Quick, informative and most of all no sponsors! Just the way I like it. Keep up the great work! 👍
Can you do a video about Men’s Closet Organization please!
My favorite is the slim fit from express , they fit me almost perfect without tailoring ❤️
You are using the term blazer for sport coat. A blazer is either navy or black, can be single or double breasted and does always have metal, usually brass, buttons.
Hey Ashley,
Can you do a video on what to wear at the club and bars
I just got a dark gray blazer. Matching it with a burgundy dress shirt with black pants and black shoes. Going to a wedding. Should I wear a tie or no tie?
I think three blazers or sport coats is a good decision, regardless of color; but I agree that blue is a darn good choice and highly versatile!
I got two for business casual wearing , navy and grey, different fabrics for different seasons
Hi there , I’m in the uk.....can I ask ? Are you talking about sports jackets here ......?...as far as I’m aware , a blazer has shiny buttons and a more solid colour?.....please confirm as Im confused
Usefull and full of value as always! Thank you :)
Excellent editing, great information!
my skin tone is dark which colour blazer should I wear for best
Charcoal gray
Great video like always!! Going out for dinner for a first date in the weekend. Please help with what I should wear. Thanks!!
Great video Ashley. In my opinion though...
1. Navy blazer
2. Navy blazer
3. Navy blazer
In different fabrics.
Nah......you need a grey or beige too. If you have navy or black pants, a navy blazer looks crap, irresoective of the fabric

Ashley , i like this video! i would to see a video on a man's minimalist wardrobe or interchageable wardrobe! for men who can work with a variety clothes without the clutter in his closet! thanks!
Are we talking about blazers or sport coats ?
I bought a gray herringbone blazer because of this video now I have no idea what to wear it with lol
I have a navy blazer with gold buttons which I'm told the gold nautical buttons are old fashion and out of style. Is this true?
Do a video about gym wear for men
Thank you for the video use guys. I thought a blazer consist of metal buttons/ gold, silver. Is that true? Im not sure, can you help me on that?

Ashley, what is the best all year round color for a sportcoat?
Am I boring if I say I really like Gray and black blazers?
Not sure you know what a blazer is vs a sport coat
Hi Dorian and Ashley! Can I have a peak lapel for my very first navy blazer?
BTW, is that Brian Sacawa at 3:27? :D
Nice. I'll start with Navy.
Excellent tips
more recomendations for 40s men, we rock!
Great video!!
The tops appear to be sport coats and not blazers.
What do you guys think about the Bonobos navy blazer?
Nice one Ash
I could be wrong but halfway through this video, I had this feeling that you guys could be the "poster couple" for the concept that yes, there is one perfect person for everyone.
I believe you are using the term blazer as a substitute for sport coat. Blazers are a separate type, more formal that a sport coat. ,
Love it! This video deserves more views! (:
It's a sportscoat ;) a blazer has different buttons...
Sports coat is american term blazer is english.
Is that brian at 3:28? Lol
Maybe it]s just because I'm in college but I always assumed Navy was the only staple blazer. Good to know!
1.) Navy
2.) Grey
3.) Beige
Brown blazer?
Video seems very blue ?
You guys should make a 2023 version of this video. A bunch of links dont work anymore. 😢
good grief! dont ever listen to these people who try to judge how you look ? wear the blazer HOW you like, not by others, you are unique, be yourself.
Ashley video on fragrance
Great vidéo
COULD YOU DO VIDEOS BASED ON EACH COUNTRIES AVAILABLITY JUST
VIDEO ON CONVERSATION CONTINOUERS
Do one on Halloween costume dos and fonts

Good video
today we need to talk about color correction and contrast?

My type of video
please, do a new blazer video, it's been 3 years
what about a black blazer? It is underrated as black can be versatile. black is associated with authority making your look more authoritative along with being a bad boy.
Uhhh...........NO!
Anything can look good. Paired with gray jeans and a white shirt, I could get down with a black blazer. But the fit better be razor sharp.
Blazers have gold, brass, or white buttons with traditionally a single vent and is usually Navy, but can also have bold, vividly colored strips. That being said, none of the items you displayed were blazers, they're all "Sport Coats" .
.i came here cuz of Sienfeld....to c wat the hype was bout crested blazrrs....lol...
I don't think navy blazer goes well with black pants. Imo charcoal grey blazer looks much better with black pants.
Not sure what to wear
Blazers and Sport Coats are not the same thing. Most of these are sport coats.
💯💯💯
You are definitely confusing a blazer with a sports jacket.
Why does your hair look longer? Ash
Aren't they really sportcoats and not blazers?
You lukin really beautiful here.... Ms. Weston 😊....
I might have over looked this since I do not watch every video, but the guy you show cloth on are all skinny. I'm in extremely good shape and will never look like a runner. Cloths that look awesome on a runner do not look so hot on someone that has any muscle mass. Thanks.
This video will confuse people on the difference between a blazer and a sport coat
I mentioned this to a few fellas I know.. Cowboy Ed, plumber George, logger Phil, and saw-filer Ivan. They all laughed like mad and told me to GFO. Every man? You folks are sick in the head. What kind of silly ass elitist bubble do you live in anyway?
What, do they just wear the same real tree suit they were married in?
Is wearing a corduroy blazer a fashion crime?
my favorite sports jacket is my light brown corduroy, it doesn't go with everything but I love wearing it with jeans and boots.
No, I would go with a brown herringbone instead of corduroy for the texture element, but if you can pull it off, do it!
You mixing up blazers with a sport coats, and call yourself a celebrity menswear stylist? Really?
George Fields the only difference between the two is the material and the fit. Otherwise it looks practically the same.
Yes, they're not the same. But the differences are not big enough to care or worry about for 99.999999% of people.

F*** we don't want colours of blazer we need type of blazer
Ismail Absad absolutely right👍
She cute
Why do you never show black or brown people in your pictures?
You don’t know what a blazer is compared to a sports coat. Maybe you should consider a different line of work since you seem to know little about mens’ tailoring
I don't have any of these, apparently I'm not a man.
Nothing suits when you have belly fat
I don’t own any of these
Am I still a man ??
No
Nooo I totally disagree!! Do you guys even have taste?
What’s the best material for a navy blazer ?
