I've just switched to Panasonic S5 (from Canon EOS R) for videos and I'm glad to see in your new video you are a Lumix user as well! My last Lumix camera was the GH4, great camera at that time (even today is not bad). I've just started watching the video and it's already amazing in terms of technique and tips. Thank you Peter!
One of the first lessons my dad taught me with a gun is how to use the sling. I've never thought about the same concept with a camera but it makes total sense. I also like the idea of moving at a steady pace rather than trying to move slowly. I'm new to gimbals. I'm trying to shoot 180º VR footage. My target was the Oculus Quest 2 but it is just too low resolution / quality to be what I want.
Respect! You always make the best gimbal videos. I watch even if I already know the tips. Sometimes multiple times because while practicing gets us closer to perfection, remembering the basics is always good. Thank you, Peter.
Great video. I wish you showed a close up of the bottom of the s5. Im confused on how you have the peak design strap receiver mounted to the bottom. Does you tripod plate have an eyelet?
I always wondered about turning off the in camera stabilizer while on the gimbal. i read on a forum a long time ago to keep it on but that was a long time ago and I stuck to that.
Amazing video Peter as always!!!! My setup is a sony a7iii with 16-35 f4 zeiss lens without stabilization on a Weebill 2. For smoother video do I have to turn off the ''steady shot'' on camera??? Keep up making amazing gimbal videos. Greetings from Athens Greece!!!
Fantastic work as always! What I appreciate about your videos is that you also showcase practical ways to have stable footage without the need the purchase an expensive gimbal, despite owning one.
dude that was a bad ass video. thanks for all the tips. my 1st vid of yurs I've seen. I gave u a sub. and I may have some questions but def gona check out some more of yur stuff
Another great video, Peter. I have RS3PRO for my S1H. I just installed version 2.6 firmware. I noticed 60p, 120p are only in 1080p for full frame, not 4K which requires Super 35mm . My go to lens is 24-105 ( so crop factor is an issue). Do you shoot full frame for real estate in 1080p or 4K. Will Panasonic allow full frame 4K at 60p or 120 in the future on S1H?
Thanks for your great videos Peter. I have a small question you say we have to disable the IBiS but do we also have to disable the stabilizer of the lens? Thanks in advance
seems to me you got that right on point. turn it all off and thats it. gimbal does it all, no need for extra help that optics could ruin every few seconds.
Thank you so much for this video! So useful! I have a question for you: overall do you recommend the zhiyun Weebill or the Ronin S for a Lumix camera (with a 12-70 zoom lens)?
What’s the SFX you use for your lower thirds text? I’d like to get that for my videos if you don’t mind sharing? Also, thank you for all your videos! Made my process setting the settings and balance for my Weebill S…
I'm so thankful for your videos. They're very helpful. I've got a DJI Ronin R3 on the way for my R6 w/24 to 70mm EF lens (using the adapter). I opted for the cheaper gimbal because of the low weight. Do you think this will be okay?
nice share....i want to ask, i have zhiyun weebill s, why when i use gimbal in orbit mode, still have shaky video...gimbal movements still shaky when orbit mode..??
When you are walking you will have to compensate in your arms so you won't get that up and down bounce. Try walking with a cup full of water. then you can see when you don't bounce any more.
Years of experience and hundreds of dollars of stabilizing tools...my number one tip is use 3-points of contact without a gimbal for as long as it takes until you think you're ready.
Great tips!
happy to see that there is other people out there having the same problem with design and desing - great video tho!!! appreciate your input
I love this video! Very, very useful!

I must have missed it. I see that you said to turn off IBIS, but what about IS on the lens? Thanks!

You brilliant, thank you again!
Always thought IBIS on was better on a gimbal I’m a total noob ! 🤦🏽♂️ thank you sir!
What is the brand of the seguey ?
Great info as always!
Thanks for the support.
Thanks for the advice! I'll be rolling my way to buttery smooth footage in no time once my Heelies get here!

Great video. God tips. I will try it. Best greetings from Germany

Nice video! I'm looking for some handles for the Scorp-C, can u recommend?

Thanks. It is some click sounds and computer sounds I found on artlist.
@@PeterMakholm Perfect! I just sub’d to Artlist recently. Thank you for responding and especially so fast! I really appreciate that!
Love your videos! 👍 thanks a lot 🙂

the motors of the gimbal is also part of it, zhiyun weebil is just a entry level gimbal, doesn't got much stability in this equipment
@@MARZ.Media0412 , i had shoot with zhiyun weebill s the same like your video at 0:48 - 0.52..
Great video as always. I need that strap asap. how did you get the peak design strap on there.
I bought the peak designs waist strap and added it to the sling.
Could play a drinking game with the amount of times he said buttery smooth footage
2nd dope video. do you prefer the S1H over the S5.
For handheld i preffer the S1H and with gimbal the S5. Hopfully they will make a S5H
cool video!!
my footage is smooth, but bouncy
I am trying to the heel to toe method, but so far, it is still bouncy
Do you know what I am doing wrong?

Just subbed
You are from Denmark right? I could recognize Tivoli in Copenhagen 😊
Awesome 👌 👏 and thanks for sharing 👍 😀 😊
