After watching several videos, I noticed no one is talking about which mode to use and I tried to take the same shots, but the camera keeps moving up or down or side ways. I have no clue how to make the camera to look straight. If anyone knows, please help me out !
The only thing I would add to the Parallax shot is the Michael Bay uses a long lens to more emphasize the effect. This will make it more difficult to perform correctly. As always, great content.
Doctor, I watch every frame of your videos. I don't have money to purchase your meticulously crafted courses right now, so I can only support you by liking and sharing them.
Hi, but what adjustment do you give to the gimbal to not have any kind of roll. I always see the gimbal very stationary I cannot even if I followed your advice on the RS2 adjustment I always have a slight movement even when using the stadicam function of the gimbal. How can I do?
hi peter i have a problem with my rs2 . . . it is perfect balanced and i did a balance test with the app and calibration test on gimbal all 100% OK but when i go walk with thee gimbal i shaking out of my hands . . . i did restore gimbal parameters and set your gimbal settings for the RS2 and its still the same problem. . . any other options? thank you ( found it . . . i think its my microphone setup. . . without mic it works perfectly . . . little bit strainge. . . )
does it have all follow mode when underslung? this is the biggest deal breaker for me. yeah with most gimbals u can use underslung but you're stuck with other modes except all follow mode.
Great tips but I have several ammendments. I started shooting at 30fps. It is much smoother on a 60hz monitor. You didn't mention that the parallax effect is more effective with longer focal lengths but harder to execute. And last, I never force the gimbal with my hands, like you did, to a specific position. That is bad for the motors
@@carlosandreviana9448 This might be but he used the Ronin S 2. So, with every DJI Gimbal you can use Push Mode. I don’t know the settings of other gimbals. If you don’t have something like Push Mode you shouldn’t move the axis at all.
Hi Peter. Would be nice to mention which gimbal modes to use for these moves. Great video.
Yeah sorry. The tracking shot is shot in lock mode. all the others are shot in Pan follow.
Thank you
You are welcome mate.
thanks Peter... great video. love you vids.
thanks mate. appreciate your support.
Always to the point !!! Thanks for your video !!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us !
Thanks mate great to hear.
The Parallax is so cool!
just knew this channel, thank you Peter, you're amazing 😊
Great stuff mate. I’ll check out your course
Great video, very useful tips. Thanks a lot 🙏👍👍👍.
As always; great tips.
Still one of the best gimbal videos
I learned and I'm still learning a lot from you peter. *Thank you* for sharing your videos. Please keep on sharing..
Should I use autofocus or manual to shoot scenes by using those techniques?
Oh Wow, Thank you never actually knew what a Gimbal did. Novie still photographer with a Lumix S1R

Hi, i mostly use PF mode, but if I need to do a shot where I need the gimbal to tilt I use PTF.
Thank You Peter! Going to try some of these at a wedding today (:
Big Thanks for your great tutorials! I'm just starting to film with a gimbal (RSC 2) and your videos are a great help. Have a good time!
Thanks

An awesome tutorial as usual, thanks for sharing your knowledge on the gimbal moves, I truly appreciate it. BTW where can I buy that T-shirt from?
Did you use your M3 locked (custom) profile when shooting the video at 4:10?
Peter, what type of lens are you using to do these shots? Does the lens matter? If so what do you suggest to get nice shots like these? --chris
Hi bro perfect moves
Hi Peter, great vid again! Do you never use a strap on your gimbal?
Thanks mate. No not really. I not a fan of having things dangling from the gimbal.
@@PeterMakholm Fair enough! I hope you keep making video's about gimbals ??? Thnx.

nice video sir...in the tracking shot, you adjusted the pan axis of the gimble by hand, is it safe to do that in the weebill s?
how much do you slow down the footage, 80% or less? and which aperture should I shoot with?
Very nice channel. Love your videos. Have you released your settings for the RS3 or can i use the RSC2 ones for my RS3. Thank you so much

With anything added to setup such as lens hood or maybe a microphone changed the balance. You’ll have to rebalance.
what mode is gimbal in parallax shot?
✌
🔥
6:50 What if my camera without IBIS but have electronic stabilization should I turn in off the electronic stabilization?
No, I always recommend to turn off all stabilisation especially electronic.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
how about O.I.S? shoould i turn in off too?

what gimbal do you prefer.
Hi, I currently prefer the DJI RS2. I like that it can get broken apart.
Great tips but I have several ammendments. I started shooting at 30fps. It is much smoother on a 60hz monitor.

If you use Push Mode (activate in App) you can turn around the axis by hand.
@@janeeightfive7331 not in the weebill s 😊
