Aloha, did you made any upgrade, any hardware swap, modification? What is your hardware configuration. 0.Remove everyting from the slots, USB ports, printer,BT, Wifi card, VGA card, sound card, etc. Leave only the CPU,1x RAM,use the onboard VGA, monitor, mouse and keyboard. 1. Blow out the dust from the PC, especially from the power supply. 2.Check the motherboard for blown, bulged capacitor especially near the CPU and RAM slots. 3.Check the power supply for blown, bulged capacitor , try with another power supply 4.Mesure, replace the BIOS battery, reset the BIOS. 5.Swap the RAM in different slots, try with one RAM, with the smallest capacity. 6.Replace the CPU. If nothing works you can try to remove the power supply, the monitor, BIOS battery and short the + and - pole in the BIOS battery holder and short the power on pins and leave it for 24 hour in this way (only one time it worked for me, when nothing worked). Thank you for watching, if my video or advice was helpful, please don't forget to share, like the video and maybe subscribe and good luck .
Dust can conduct Electricity, & if it gets behind the Motherboard, it can short it out & Brick your Motherboard. It happened to me. One day I booted a system that was never cleaned out in 6 years, I heard a small Pop & saw a small flash of light. I removed everything out of the case & found a small Black Electrical Ark where the spark took place. I needed a new Motherboard.
The first thing I did was to blown out the dust. Once I worked with a dusty PC that had no VGA signal until I cleaned the dust from the VGA card, since then first I blown out the dust and only after that I turn on the computer. Hello there.. i have dell optiplrex 7010 with the same problem but non of your steps woork.. no beep . The power button is in yellow without blinking.. and the fan is spining at high speed. Help plz
Aloha, you didn't;t say if you made any change/upgrade to your PC, if you made any upgrade then you have your answer, the new hardware is not recognized by the motherboard. If the fan are spinning very fast/loud probably the BIOS don't recognize a hardware or doesn't get enough power (BAD power supply) Remove all unnecessary hardware, HDD, VGA card, sound card, any extra card or cable (speaker, printer, LAN) from your motherboard, leave it just the motherboard, mouse and keyboard and use the onboard VGA and then test it. 1. Remove the power cable and the monitor cable, the BIOS battery and with a money coin or a wire short the + and - pin of the BIOS battery house on the motherboard and with a jumper from an old DVD-ROM or HDD short the power on pin on the motherboard and leave it in short mode a night. Next day remove the money coin or the wire from the BIOS battery house and the jumper from the power on pin and test the PC if it's turning on. 2 if it doesn't work, try to reseat the CPU in the socket or replace the CPU If in the end don't work, then it's time to go to your local PC repair shop. Thank you for sharing. I have tested all the steps you shared and bought a new PSU. Unfortunately my monitor has signal in the second attempt to turn on the computer. Aloha , 0. If you have laptop try with the laptop the monitor (with same video cable), if you have video signal, then the problem is with your PC 1. inspect your video cable for broken pin/damage connector., try with another cable 2. if your monitor has multiple inputs port for video signal, check the setting, if you use DP signal, then you need to select for input the DP (my monitor has 3 inputs: d-sub 15 pin VGA, DVI and HDMI and I have a selection button on the monitor) 3. if you use a dedicated VGA card, try to mount your VGA card in another PC, inspect the VGA slot and VGA card contacts, 4. test your PSU, in another PC , try with a bigger PSU, you can try to disconnect everything from the PSU, leave only the motherboard, VGA card , mouse and keyboard 6. if you have on-board VGA card, try with the on-board VGA card If can't find a way to work, you may try to go to your local PC repair shop. Aloha, probably it's depending of the user behavior. I seen Windows XP running for 4-5 years without any problem and I seen Windows 7, Windows 10 that lasted only for a couple of weeks. Hii great video... I need your help, I have built a pc with two monitors 2 months ago and it has always worked perfectly but yesterday one of the monitors started displaying me "no signal". They both connected to the GPU (Radeon RX 590), the one which is working through a VGA with a display port converter, the one which isn't working(main monitor) through a display port. I've tried to connect it with another DP cable but it doesn't work. I sincerely don't know what to do. Hope you can give some advice for this problem 🙏🙏🙏
0. if your monitor has multiple input ports like: HDMI, display port, etc. and you have a switch button on the monitor / or you can switch from the monitor menu, try to switch beetwhen the input signals, my main monitor is an AOC and has 3 inputs and I have a select button on the monitor and I can select witch input to use: VGA, DVI or HDMI 1. Insert the working display port cable to the non working display port VGA card output, if you have video signal, then the cable or display is faulty. 2. Switch the 2 monitors, unplug the working monitor from the display port cable and plug in the no video signal video monitor to that cable Delete your video card driver and install the latest driver again, if it dosen't work with the latest driver, download an older version, cut your internet connection and install the older driver........maybe the latest driver has a bug....I had that problem one time. Please help I just put a second ram stick in my pc so it is 16gb instead of only 8gb then I put in 1TB storage in also and when I turn it on the pc is on, but my monitor says no signal.
Try to remove the new RAM's, check your motherboard specs, maybe don't support 16GB RAM or that model. I'm guessing here, because you didn't provide more information. Thank you for watching, if my video or advice was useful, please consider to share and subscribe.
Please help: A few days ago a buzzing noise which normally never heard on my pc was there It didn't harm my pc at first Then It randomly gave no signal error in the middle of my work And then this repeated many times every 30-15 min my computer gives this error Then yesterday my pc was fine but suddenly this error came again, I restarted and it showed a white line rest of it was black this was a problem with my pc not monitor because it came at a specific time after loading of windows Today the problem was fixed but still shows no signal. I don't want to lose the whole windows help.

Found you today.. I need a HELP My Monitor (SAMSUNG) that bought on previous week is get not displaying after few minutes from PC power-on. I can work for only 30 minutes then monitor not displaying but power button says it receive the power. when not showing, i power off the monitor and again power on, the monitor displaying but only for 1-2 seconds... Do you know how to solve it? plz help me
First, if you have another PC or laptop try with that, in this way you will know if the monitor or the PC need a fix. My electronic knowledge are very basic, but many times on the monitor motherboard the capacitors are bulged and that's way they don't work. The manufactures are using cheap capacitors. If you have a bulged capacitor and you own a soldering station, you can try to replace the bulged capacitor., but if don't have any experience with soldering station, than leave it to the professionals, you can "burn" the monitor motherboard with to much heat. Thank you for watching and good luck with the repair.
Aloha, usualy when you get the code 43 the GPU is "slowly dying" you can try: 0.If you have another PC you can try in that 1. clean your PC very thoroughly from the dust. 2. reinstall your windows with drivers and the GPU only with the driver, whithout the nvidia extra drivers or roll back to an earlier driver, because sometimes the newest drivers has some errors 3. try with a more powerfull PSU, something like 80+ certificate PSU, you can buy one online and if that don't solve your problem, you can send it back usualy in 14 days and you get back your money Thank you for watching, if my video was useful, please consider to share and subscribe.

Aloha, there could be more than one reasons, but my first guess is that your monitor is faulty, the capacitors probably are bulged on the display circuit bord. 1. If you have a laptop, then you should test your monitor with the laptop, if there is no change, then the problem is with your monitor. 2. if with the laptop you have video signal, then test your VGA card in another PC. 3. if the VGA card is working OK in another PC, then disassembly your power supply and inspect visually for blown/bulged capacitor or borrow a bigger power supply and test with that your PC. Please let us know, how went the repair. If my video or advice was useful please consider to share and subscribe, have a nice day and good luck.
@@pradeepchandrasena1206 try the monitor with another PC or with a laptop, if the error persist the problem is with your monitor or with the monitor cable. Aloha, 1. check your monitor cable for broken pins, try wit a different cable. 2 . check your monitor with another PC 3. check your PC/video card with another monitor or TV Good luck.
Aloha, the no video signal error may occur for several reasons. The bad PSU is only one from many reasons. Your PSU was good or you had some blown capacitors? There could be many reasons: bad RAM memory, bad VGA card, maybe the RAM memory or the VGA card entered in protective mode from a electrical fluctuation - in this case you have to remove the RAM/VGA card and discharge the capacitor and insert it again, bad CMOS battery, reset the BIOS, bad VGA cable, bad monitor. Thank you for watching, if my video was helpful please share and subscribe, have a nice day.
I seen your posted video, I'm not sure...there could be more then 1 reason ....you don't say your PC configuration. Always before you disassembly, you unplug the power cable, the monitor cable and press the power button for 10-20 seconds to discharge the capacitors and only after that you disassembly or touch any component. - disassembly your PC and PSU to inspect for bulged capacitors and clean your PC and PSU from dust - if you have a dedicated VGA card, remove and turn on the PC with the onboard video card - try to enter in safe mode in Windows and uninstall your VGA card driver - could be faulty your monitor to...you can disassembly to check for bulged capacitor, only if your monitor is out of warranty and you have the knowledge and the right tools, otherwise you can get electrocute yourself
I just have the same issue. Fans spinning no display. I tried everything, Re-seat my RAM. Tried both graphics card and internal. Uplug and plug everything, I even replaced my PSU with a new one but still same. When I turn on the switch. Fans spinning. usb mouse lighting up. usb keyboard numlock is not turning up. no beeps. doesn't show anything on the screen except "no signal". I also tried a different monitor and still same. please help. could it be the mobo? I see no signs of blown capacitors or anything
Did you any CPU, RAM, VGA, any upgrade or BIOS update recently?...because Could be a faulty hardware, a burn LAN card and your PC is entered in protection mode. Unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors. Do you have beep errors sound after you remove the RAMS? if you hear the error sound, then with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC. If still. Doesn't work, then remove the motherboard from the PC case, remove everything from the motherboard: PSU, VGA card, RAM etc. remove the BIOS battery and short the power pins (and the BIOS reset pins if you have) with a jumper(from a DVD-ROM, or another motherboard) leave it about 6 houers after that ....remove the 2 jumpers... ....on a table connect the PSU, monitor cable, mouse, keyboard and with a screwdriver power on the PC ( without memory you should hear the error beeping sound if you have speaker on your motherboard)......put back only one memory (try with 2 memory's in different slots) and try with only with the on-board VGA....if don't work...try with another CPU...if dosen't work probably the motherboard is dead.

Aloha there could be many reasons, try to enter in BIOS and wait for5-10mminutes, if the VGA card is working then you should check for: 0. Overheating problem - blow the dust from PC 1. bad driver, some conflict - reinstall (clean install...not refresh the OS) the OS without internet connection if you can, disable the Windows update, connect to the internet, try to watch some TH-cam videos...if everything is ok install the latest driver...if after the driver installation the VGA card fail, uninstall the driver and install an older driver 2. to small or bad PSU - calculate you PC power consummation and add + 20-30% to be sure the PSU will have enough power, the PSU rating should be something with 80-85+, if the PSU is out of warranty time you can disassembly and check for bulged caps 3. probably the VGAcard is broke I had some VGA that wasn't broke all the way, but after the driver was loaded the VGA simply failed, but if I entered in the BIOS the video card had no problem to work Thank you for watching, if my video or advice was useful please consider to share and subscribe, let us know if you managed to work, have a nice day .
I bought the caps from my local electronics parts shop and they are soldered to the power supply motherboard, you need a solder gun. Thank you for watching.
@@redigitt Thank you! I have an old computer that's not worth the price of a new PSU but might be worth repairing that way if I can identify a similar problem.
The caps are very cheap compared to a new PSU. But if you can't repair the PSU, you don't have to buy a new PSU, if you are looking at your your local ssecond hand ads, usualy you can find a good second hand PSU at a reasonable price, the kids are making upgrades to the VGA cards and they need a higher PSU and then you can buy, but you have to check your local ads daily. Good luck.
My double monitor show the same screen as the first one, windows also wont detect a second monitor, whenever i click on detect, it says, didnt detect another display, even tho they are connected to hdmi, now its worse the screens are bigger now, sometimes the first display turns on normally but the second one wont turn on
Download the latest VGA driver, uninstall the VGA driver and restart the PC , after that reinstall the VGA driver. Aloha, the no video signal error may occur for several reasons. The bad PSU is only one from many reasons. Bad motherboard, bad VGA card, CPU bent pins, CPU socket bent pins, bad monitor, bad monitor cable. If you moved your PC the VGA card or RAM has moved a little bit, you need to remove it, clean the socket from dust and reinstall. Test your monitor with another PC or laptop. @@redigittThanks for the reply but I have fixed my pc after watching your video. When I remove my RAM my pc starts beeping and then I removed the pc battery and insert it again and my pc successfully booted up. Can you explain me what was the issue???
Yes, we are a consumer society, everybody release products that are not fully tested with bugs, in this way you want to buy the next generation product, because you think that a bug/error/faulty design is fixed. Look at Windows 10, how many updates gets, the new motherboards get the first BIOS release in 2-3 month. Now the final user is the final tester, sadly. My first DVD-RW was a 4x TEAC burner and I used for about 10 years, but because it was slow and it was on IDE I bought new generations DVD-RW LG, ASUS, but they don't lasted very long time and sometimes I used my old DVD-RW with an USB to IDE adapter because the new optical drives won't read the different brands discs. Now I work on a 12 old laptop Acer Extensa 5220, i wil upgrade and I wil upload the videos. With no disrespect , do you thing our new PC's will last 12 years? I don't.
There could be many reasons: -befor you make anything, you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors. Remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC.
And the onboard VGA? Remove the motherboard from the PC case, remove everithing from the motherboard: PSU, VGA card, RAM etc. remove the BIOS battery and short the power pins with a jumper(from a DVD-ROM, or another motherboard) live it about 6 houers after that ...reset the BIOS ....put back only one memory and try with only with the on-board VGA....if don't work...try with another CPU...if dosen't work probabbly the motherboard is dead
1. First remove the power cable from the HDD, then in the BIOS there is a setting for the video card, you should change to work first with the onboard card, save the BIOS settings and restart the PC, switch/plug in the monitor cable to the onboard VGA. 2. If it doesn't work, you could try to first remove the power cable from the HDD, remove your VGA card and reset your BIOS, switch/plug in the monitor cable to the onboard VGA and restart your PC. 3. If still doesn't work probably your onboard VGA is damaged. If my video or advice was helpful, then please consider to share this video and subscribe.
Before I find the problem, I tested/inspected the PC in 9 ways and there could be many other reasons for a NO VIDEO SIGNAL error. Did you do any testing for your PC, if you tested your PC, what you tested ...?
0. test your PSU in another computer or test your computer with another PSU from a working PC 1. if your PSU is OK, then remove the CPU from the socket, inspect if the CPU socket pins are bent, remove the BIOS battery, short the BIOS pins with a jumper a leave it there the jumper, with another jumper short the power -on pins and leave it there for about 6-24 hours........after 24 hours remove the BIOS short jumper, remove the jumper from the power-on pins, assembly the CPU, PSU, (no RAM) short the power-on pins with a screwdriver ......and if you still don't get any beep sound => 3. try to install another CPU in the motherboard or try your CPU in another motherboard If still doesn't work, try to take it to a local service shop. Good luck.
there is no video signal or only a black screen? If on your monitor the LED is red, after power up the PC, then you don't have video signal. f on your monitor the LED is green, after power up the PC, then you have video signal, but youhave to change the boot from your HDD drive...from BIOS. Check the PSU cables on your motherbord and HDD, if everithing is all right, then unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors. Remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC.
Hello, I've been searching for 3 days for a fix, still nothing yet.. Monday I unplugged my pc to move it on another desk, it stayed unplugged for about 3 hours, after I plugged everything back in it started normally, all leds working, including the motherboard's (aorus b450 m), but still i get no display image on any of my 2 monitors. I've tried 2 HDMI cables, and one DVI to HDMI cable on every single slot, still no display.. I've removed the rams, the GPU, all the periferics (keyboard/mouse/..) same result. I had the same problem about 6 months ago and somehow I managed to fix it, but I just can't remember how. Please give me an idea that doesn't includes buying new stuff.. I also have a red light VGA on the motherboard.
There could be many reasons: -befor you make anything, you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors 0.remove everything form motherboard: HDD, optical drive, VGA, sound card if you have and make a BIOS reset, afterBIOS reset try to power on only with the on-board VGA 1. Bad power supply- bulged capacitors - borrow a PSU to testwith another PSU 2. there is a short on the power button or reset button- unplug from the motherboard the power on+reset cable and power on the motherboard with a screwdriver 2.the motherboard screws making shortcircuit with the case - remove the motherboard and put the motherboard on the desk, remove the BIOS battery and if you have a jumper to reset the BIOS -short of the 2 BIOS reset pins for 20 minute.Plug only the power supply 24pin(motherboar) + 4+2 cpu power cable and power on the motherboard with a screwdriver. 3. remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times If my advice was useful, please don't forget to share the video and good luck.
Red light only means remove your ram clean them and the slots and place those rams back again to the same or different slots. I have always done for that red light and it always worked for me
Hey can you help me here please My display turned off on its own while I was watching youtube vids and lights of the fans in the case blinked. So i restarted the pc and all I get is no signal on monitor now even tho all cpu and gpu fans are running and the power button helps to turn on pc but holding the power button does nothing now and i have to turn off pc by powering off the psu. I made this pc myself it's barely been 2months. Specs Ryzen 5 3600 Gigabyte b550 gaming x msi Gtx 1660 6gb gddr5 G skill ripjaws ddr4 2x8gb Corsair cx450 80plus bronze 450w 256gb ssd 1tb hd PS I have tried removing cmos and Turing it on. I removed gpu and both ram's but i get no beep sound. Is my motherboard dead or could it be the psu?
Aloha, because your CPU dosen't have integrated graphics, you have to test your VGA card and PSU in another PC or you have to test your motherboard with another VGA card and/or a bigger PSU. Sometimes the PSU's just fail, once my new Corsair 450W PSU failed after 2 days. Thank you for watching, if my video or advice was useful, please consider to share and subscribe, have a nice day.
yes GPU, motherboard, PSU and even the RAM memory, remove the RAM memory and short out for 4-6 times the gold contact with thumb and index (forefinger ) finger
Hey, redigitt. I know this is an old video, but to this day seems to be helping a lot. I have a similar problem, but it's quite unusual. My gig is about 4 years old and has the following config: MSI Carbon b350 Ryzen 5 1600x Zotac GTX 1080 Power Supply 480w 16GB RAM 1TB HD 256GB SSD. 4k Samsung monitor. It works well. I clean it all the time. The problem is: - sometimes I hit the Display Port cabe (when cleaning my room) and when I turn the pc on, I have no post. Actually, I have access to the BIOS, but after that, the screen goes black, but the PC is on. - sometimes, when I hit the cable, that doesn't happen and the pc is ok. I solve that in 2 ways: clean the CMOS or updating the BIOS (even for the same version), but this is becoming frequent. I really don't know the issue here. I've done all of what you say in the video. Do you have any tips do diagnose this?
It is very unusual, after you clean your room and hit the cable and turn on the PC and dosen't have video signal...did you try to unplug the cable and insert again and after that restart your PC...maybe the plug is loosen and when you hit the cable after that dosent make "full contact" . I never experienced this problem so now I'm just guessing. 1.Try to borrow/change from a friend a display port cable, if the problem is fi, then the cable is not 100% OK. 2.Try to move a little bit the cable near the plug, maybe the soldering in the has broken. If / when you fix your problem please leave a comment here with the fix, good luck.

Aloha , it I understand you are using DisplayPort (DP) interface, if you tried out all the 10 steps you can try: 1. inspect your DP cable for broken pin/damage connector., try with another cable 2. if your monitor has multiple inputs port for video signal, check the setting, if you use DP signal, then you need to select for input the DP (my monitor has 3 inputs: d-sub 15 pin VGA, DVI and HDMI and I have a selection button on the monitor) 3. If you have laptop try with the laptop the monitor (with same DPr cable), if you have video signal, then the problem is with your PC 4. if you use a dedicated VGA card, try to mount your VGA card in another PC, inspect the VGA slot and VGA card contacts, 5. if you use a dedicate VGA card and you have an old or "weak" PSU, try with a bigger PSU, you can try to disconnect everything from the PSU, leave only the motherboard, VGA card , mouse and keyboard 6. if you use your on-board VGA card, try to mount a VGA card If can't find a way to work, you may try to go to your local PC repair shop. Thank you for watching, if my video or advice was useful, please consider to share and subscribe, have a nice day.
I don't see any problems with my power supply, my mother board doesn't beep when I removed the RAM and I have the same problem with the pc in the video. Please help, it's quarantine :((
There could be many reasons: Did you inspect your motherboard, for bulged capacitors? You have onboard or dedicated VGA card? - first you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors and clean your PC from the dust, because the dust can conducte the electricity, the best way is with: 1. compressor, 2. electric air pump or with 3. a hair dryer - reset your BIOS for 15-20 seconds - by removing the BIOS battery, with jumper or short the + and - side in the BIOS battery house - plug in the monitor and the power cable and power on the PC - if you don't have video signal, then unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC, pug in the monitor and power cable and power on the PC If my video or advice was usefull, then please don't forget to share and subscribe.

When i connect it to integrated graphic it works but not on my graphic card as once i connect it to my gpu there will be no display. Any solution for that
In the BIOS you have to select PCI-E GPU to be the first display output or the VGA card / VGA slot is damaged or your VGA card power requirment is to high an your PSU is tosmall for that powerful VGA card. Thank you for watching, please let us know the solution if you find it, have a nice day.

Pless help i have window 7 pro i5 i accidentally uninstall the intel graphic then i turn off my computer then when i switch it my monitor is totally black screen
The problem does not come from uninstalling the video driver, because Windows 7 has the basic drivers, you should have image. When you start the computer you can enter the BIOS? if so then try to start the computer in Safe Mode and install the video driver again.
if your CPU is i5, then your CPU is Intel, but the motherboard ? if you have a PC you remove the cover and read from the motherboard. If it is a laptop, on the bottom you should have a sticker with the laptop name and model, like ASUS X509FA
Aloha, do you connect to the same output signal, with the same cable? both to VGA, HDMI? - if you connect to the same output signal, with the same cable your monitor gone bad, unless your monitor has multiple input like, VGA, DVI, HDMI and you have button to switch between these inputs and you switch to another input. Example: You plugged in the VGA cable to the monitor, but you pressed the switch button and now your monitor is waiting the video signal on the DVI or HDMI input port. 1. check if you have insatlled the speaker on your motherbord and if it enabled from the BIOS(if you have that option in the BIOS, only a few BIOS have that option) 2. reset your BIOS and check if it enabled from the BIOS(if you have that option in the BIOS, only a few BIOS have that option)
I cannot see the display at all so turning the speaker on in the bios would not be an option. The pc is fairly old and i reseated everything except the cpu. Can you give me instructions on how to reset the CMOS battery before i take it to the PC store.

When I got this computer 3 days ago it would not turn on. I took it to the pc store and the manblew out the dust on pushed the ram in. It worked for the rest of that day but froze. I turned it off and opened it up andtook the ram out. After that it wouldnot show display. DO you think it could be the ram?

For a good start you can watch this video and test everything. In this video I made /investigate 10 reasons for the no signal to monitor...and there are many more reasons for this error. I could count about 15-25 reasons for this error and probably there are even more reasons. Thank you for watching.

isnt you should have disconnected the HDD as the first step ? both power and data ? otherwise, you might have fixed the PC non-display problem, yet ruined the hdd in the process.. bad sectored hdd always is a bad thing..
I had to do 9 tests before I found out that the PSU was faulty. From my experience in 70% -80% of cases the video signal returns if the motherboard is cleaned from dust, the BIOS battery is good - has more than 3 V or the RAM is reseated. The HDD wasn't damaged, had no bad sectors...I tested the HDD for bad sectors and the RAM before I installed the operating system. Usualy the bad sectors apears when the caps are bulged on the 12V rail. For safety you can unplug the HDD and the optical drive power cables. Thank you for watching.

Test your VGA card in another PC.
The motherboard send the warning sound, because you removed the memory, whitout memory the motherboard don't work. You have to put back the memory. If you already inserted the memory and still beeps, remove the memory and clean from dust the RAM slot and then insert back the RAM.
1. If you made a visual inspection and one or more capacitors are bulged, then your power supply need a fix(replace the bad capacitors) 2. If before removing the RAM the computer worked OK and after you reassembled the memory it gave you the error sound, then it probably you have some dust in the memory slot or does not make contact with the memory. Take it out and put it back again...if ths dose\t works you can try to reset you BIOS.

3.Check the power supply for blown, bulged capacitor , try with another power supply
4.Mesure, replace the BIOS battery, reset the BIOS.

Aloha, you didn't;t say if you made any change/upgrade to your PC, if you made any upgrade then you have your answer, the new hardware is not recognized by the motherboard.
If the fan are spinning very fast/loud probably the BIOS don't recognize a hardware or doesn't get enough power (BAD power supply)
Remove all unnecessary hardware, HDD, VGA card, sound card, any extra card or cable (speaker, printer, LAN) from your motherboard, leave it just the motherboard, mouse and keyboard and use the onboard VGA and then test it.
2 if it doesn't work, try to reseat the CPU in the socket or replace the CPU
If in the end don't work, then it's time to go to your local PC repair shop.

1. If you have a laptop, then you should test your monitor with the laptop, if there is no change, then the problem is with your monitor.
2. If with the laptop you have video signal, then reset the BIOS
3. Try with the onboard video card if you have dedicated video card...if you have video signal try to replace your video card
3. If still don't have video signal, unplug all HDDs, optical drives, VGA card and if you have any other card that consume electricity and try only with the onboard video card
5. Test with multimeter / inspect visually your power supply for bulged caps

What is the most trouble free os in your experience?
Aloha, probably it's depending of the user behavior.
I seen Windows XP running for 4-5 years without any problem and I seen Windows 7, Windows 10 that lasted only for a couple of weeks. Probably the key is to visit only legit websites, do not install and uninstall may programs, games and don't click on any link that you get on your social media feed and have an updated good antivirus-firewall.

PG - power good
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_good_signal
Power Good values
Power good value is based on the delay in ms, that a power supply takes to become fully ready. Power good values are often considered abnormal if detected lower than 100 ms or higher than 500 ms.

0. if your monitor has multiple input ports like: HDMI, display port, etc. and you have a switch button on the monitor / or you can switch from the monitor menu, try to switch beetwhen the input signals, my main monitor is an AOC and has 3 inputs and I have a select button on the monitor and I can select witch input to use: VGA, DVI or HDMI
1. Insert the working display port cable to the non working display port VGA card output, if you have video signal, then the cable or display is faulty.
2. Switch the 2 monitors, unplug the working monitor from the display port cable and plug in the no video signal video monitor to that cable
Delete your video card driver and install the latest driver again, if it dosen't work with the latest driver, download an older version, cut your internet connection and install the older driver........maybe the latest driver has a bug....I had that problem one time.

I used my Dell PC to watch movies last night, I even slept off and the following morning when I switched it on there was nothing displaying on the monitor. The keyboard, mouse and monitor are all not responding. I don't know what to do, I have cleaned the ram, CMOS battery too removed and placed back and still not responding
Aloha, in the video are 10 steps, if don't work anything you can try if you have pc parts:
-replace the monitor cable
-try the monitor with another PC
- remove the HDD and put in another PC as a secondory HDD, if the HDD is gone bad sometime the PC won't start
-remove /swap the CPU
- swap the motherboard
If nothing works it's time to visit your local PC repair shop

Try to remove the new RAM's, check your motherboard specs, maybe don't support 16GB RAM or that model.

A few days ago a buzzing noise which normally never heard on my pc was there
It didn't harm my pc at first
Then It randomly gave no signal error in the middle of my work
And then this repeated many times every 30-15 min my computer gives this error
Then yesterday my pc was fine but suddenly this error came again, I restarted and it showed a white line rest of it was black this was a problem with my pc not monitor because it came at a specific time after loading of windows
Today the problem was fixed but still shows no signal.
I don't want to lose the whole windows help.

- bad driver
- dusty VGA or motherboard
- bad caps on the motherboard or VGA card
- overheating the CPU, VGA, chipset
- bad PSU
- software conflict

My Monitor (SAMSUNG) that bought on previous week is get not displaying after few minutes from PC power-on.
Can i ask when i put the wifi cable at the back of my cpu then it turns the monitor black ?
Aloha, sorry, I don't know.

Thank you sir.. Can u help me, my gtx 760 has code 43 on Windows 10
Aloha, usualy when you get the code 43 the GPU is "slowly dying" you can try:
0.If you have another PC you can try in that
1. clean your PC very thoroughly from the dust.
2. reinstall your windows with drivers and the GPU only with the driver, whithout the nvidia extra drivers or roll back to an earlier driver, because sometimes the newest drivers has some errors
3. try with a more powerfull PSU, something like 80+ certificate PSU, you can buy one online and if that don't solve your problem, you can send it back usualy in 14 days and you get back your money

My PC was giving me power saving mode on startup. But now when I start the PC there is no display on screen and the LCD light is blinking. What could be the problem sir. Thankss

Hello, I have the same problem and I followed all the steps you posted but the fail continues
Your video is very helpful

Hello my PC will on and run but after 5mins monitor no display but system unit still running.., is my psu faulty?
I seen your posted video, I'm not sure...there could be more then 1 reason ....you don't say your PC configuration.
Always before you disassembly, you unplug the power cable, the monitor cable and press the power button for 10-20 seconds to discharge the capacitors and only after that you disassembly or touch any component.
- disassembly your PC and PSU to inspect for bulged capacitors and clean your PC and PSU from dust
- if you have a dedicated VGA card, remove and turn on the PC with the onboard video card
- try to enter in safe mode in Windows and uninstall your VGA card driver
- could be faulty your monitor to...you can disassembly to check for bulged capacitor, only if your monitor is out of warranty and you have the knowledge and the right tools, otherwise you can get electrocute yourself
You could check if your monitor is faulty or not, by entering in the BIOS and waiting 10 minutes

Aloha there could be many reasons, try to enter in BIOS and wait for5-10mminutes, if the VGA card is working then you should check for:
0. Overheating problem - blow the dust from PC
1. bad driver, some conflict - reinstall (clean install...not refresh the OS) the OS without internet connection if you can, disable the Windows update, connect to the internet, try to watch some TH-cam videos...if everything is ok install the latest driver...if after the driver installation the VGA card fail, uninstall the driver and install an older driver
2. to small or bad PSU - calculate you PC power consummation and add + 20-30% to be sure the PSU will have enough power, the PSU rating should be something with 80-85+, if the PSU is out of warranty time you can disassembly and check for bulged caps
3. probably the VGAcard is broke
I had some VGA that wasn't broke all the way, but after the driver was loaded the VGA simply failed, but if I entered in the BIOS the video card had no problem to work

Nice video! For those blown caps you replaced, can you buy them? How are they mounted or installed?
Good luck.

Download the latest VGA driver, uninstall the VGA driver and restart the PC , after that reinstall the VGA driver.
If you use Windows 10 and the Windows 10 made automatic driver update, then you can try the an older driver to, sometimes the Windows 10 dosen't run OK with the latest drivers.

I don't.

Did you do any testing for your PC, if you tested your PC, what you tested ...?
@@redigitt I did not do any test but I saw that my motherboard is not beeping without ram ..... Can u tell any way to test.
0. test your PSU in another computer or test your computer with another PSU from a working PC
1. if your PSU is OK, then remove the CPU from the socket, inspect if the CPU socket pins are bent, remove the BIOS battery, short the BIOS pins with a jumper a leave it there the jumper, with another jumper short the power -on pins and leave it there for about 6-24 hours........after 24 hours remove the BIOS short jumper, remove the jumper from the power-on pins, assembly the CPU, PSU, (no RAM) short the power-on pins with a screwdriver ......and if you still don't get any beep sound =>
3. try to install another CPU in the motherboard or try your CPU in another motherboard
If still doesn't work, try to take it to a local service shop.

If on your monitor the LED is red, after power up the PC, then you don't have video signal.
f on your monitor the LED is green, after power up the PC, then you have video signal, but youhave to change the boot from your HDD drive...from BIOS.

Hello,
I've been searching for 3 days for a fix, still nothing yet..
There could be many reasons:
-befor you make anything, you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors
0.remove everything form motherboard: HDD, optical drive, VGA, sound card if you have and make a BIOS reset, afterBIOS reset try to power on only with the on-board VGA
1. Bad power supply- bulged capacitors - borrow a PSU to testwith another PSU
2. there is a short on the power button or reset button- unplug from the motherboard the power on+reset cable and power on the motherboard with a screwdriver
2.the motherboard screws making shortcircuit with the case - remove the motherboard and put the motherboard on the desk, remove the BIOS battery and if you have a jumper to reset the BIOS -short of the 2 BIOS reset pins for 20 minute.Plug only the power supply 24pin(motherboar) + 4+2 cpu power cable and power on the motherboard with a screwdriver.
3. remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times
If my advice was useful, please don't forget to share the video and good luck.
Red light only means remove your ram clean them and the slots and place those rams back again to the same or different slots. I have always done for that red light and it always worked for me

Hey, redigitt. I know this is an old video, but to this day seems to be helping a lot.
I have a similar problem, but it's quite unusual.
My gig is about 4 years old and has the following config:
MSI Carbon b350
Ryzen 5 1600x
Zotac GTX 1080
Power Supply 480w
16GB RAM
1TB HD
256GB SSD.
4k Samsung monitor.
It works well. I clean it all the time.
The problem is:
- sometimes I hit the Display Port cabe (when cleaning my room) and when I turn the pc on, I have no post.

How do you fix no DisplayPort signal please help I have no clue how 😊
Aloha , it I understand you are using DisplayPort (DP) interface, if you tried out all the 10 steps you can try:
1. inspect your DP cable for broken pin/damage connector., try with another cable
2. if your monitor has multiple inputs port for video signal, check the setting, if you use DP signal, then you need to select for input the DP (my monitor has 3 inputs: d-sub 15 pin VGA, DVI and HDMI and I have a selection button on the monitor)
3. If you have laptop try with the laptop the monitor (with same DPr cable), if you have video signal, then the problem is with your PC
4. if you use a dedicated VGA card, try to mount your VGA card in another PC, inspect the VGA slot and VGA card contacts,
5. if you use a dedicate VGA card and you have an old or "weak" PSU, try with a bigger PSU, you can try to disconnect everything from the PSU, leave only the motherboard, VGA card , mouse and keyboard
6. if you use your on-board VGA card, try to mount a VGA card
If can't find a way to work, you may try to go to your local PC repair shop.

You have onboard or dedicated VGA card?
- first you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors and clean your PC from the dust, because the dust can conducte the electricity, the best way is with: 1. compressor, 2. electric air pump or with 3. a hair dryer
- reset your BIOS for 15-20 seconds - by removing the BIOS battery, with jumper or short the + and - side in the BIOS battery house
- plug in the monitor and the power cable and power on the PC
- if you don't have video signal, then unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC, pug in the monitor and power cable and power on the PC

putting any ram in dimm 1 and dimm 3 stops my video and usb signal. im currently using 2x4gb in dimm 2 and dimm 4. im trying to put another 2x4gb in dimm 1 and dimm 3. can you help?
Aloha, please provide more information: motherboard and BIOS version, the RAM's are from the same manifacture/same model/same frequency?
@@redigitt all of the ram are from the same manufacturer, but 2 of the 4 sticks are 1600mhz and the other 2 sticks are 1300mhz and have a row of chips on each side as opposed to one. its definitely not a compatibility issue with the ram because ive tried putting the new ram with the old ram in dimm 2 and 4 and the computer successfully booted. putting any type of ram at all in dimm 3 or 4 makes the computer not boot
Then reset the BIOS first,
if after the BIOS reset you have still that error,
then try to update your BIOS.
Good luck.
@@redigitt nothing. i took the power cell out and back in, reset bios to defaults and nothing. i even reseated my cpu and cpu cooler. it fixed my issue but now dimm 2 and 4 dont work and dimm 1 and dimm 3 do
update your BIOS
How to replace the caps....
The caps are replaced by soldering.
I didn't filmed the soldering process, because I don't have: a proper camera, I make my TH-cam videos with my phone, light, tripod and soldering station. Here you have a good tutorial how to solder th-cam.com/video/J5Sb21qbpEQ/w-d-xo.html

In my computer the system is onn but the monitor flash orange light ... Plz help me
There could be many reasons:
-befor you make anything, you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors.
Remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC.
@@redigitt thank you now my PC is recover
I'm glad it's working, please don't forget to share and like the video, have a nice day.
Black screen can be caused by "SCREEN SAVER" turned on. Type in lower left white space bar.......
"screen saver" and select the option "None" to keep it from turning on with bubbles or the wording,
"WINDOWS 10" that spins horizontally. '' A very sharp friend of mine figured out my hours long dilemma
and saved my sanity!!!! Screen saver is no longer necessary with the disappearance of cathode ray tubes

Thank you sir but i dont know how to go to bios
Do you have PC or laptop? if you have PC who is the motherboard manufacture? ASUS, Gigabyte?
@@redigitt i dont know who is the manufacturer but i think its asus rog nec cpu
if your CPU is i5, then your CPU is Intel, but the motherboard ? if you have a PC you remove the cover and read from the motherboard.
If it is a laptop, on the bottom you should have a sticker with the laptop name and model, like ASUS X509FA
Thank you bro 👌👌

When i Turn on my pc, on monitor i don't have signal, but when i connect my pc with tv it is working without problem..

My computer would not make beeps even after taking the ram out??? Help!
1. check if you have insatlled the speaker on your motherbord and if it enabled from the BIOS(if you have that option in the BIOS, only a few BIOS have that option)
2. reset your BIOS and check if it enabled from the BIOS(if you have that option in the BIOS, only a few BIOS have that option)
I cannot see the display at all so turning the speaker on in the bios would not be an option. The pc is fairly old and i reseated everything except the cpu. Can you give me instructions on how to reset the CMOS battery before i take it to the PC store.
- first you have to unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors
- reset your BIOS(for 15-20 seconds) by removing the BIOS battery : maybe your motherboard has a bios reset jumper or short the + and - in the BIOS battery house
When I got this computer 3 days ago it would not turn on. I took it to the pc store and the manblew out the dust on pushed the ram in. It worked for the rest of that day but froze. I turned it off and opened it up andtook the ram out. After that it wouldnot show display. DO you think it could be the ram?
unplug the power cable+ monitor cable and press the power button for 15 seconds to discharge the capacitors remove the RAM and with 2 finger short of the pins for 4-5 times and put back in the PC, pug in the monitor and power cable and power on the PC
how to solve systems desktop no displaying
For a good start you can watch this video and test everything.
In this video I made /investigate 10 reasons for the no signal to monitor...and there are many more reasons for this error. I could count about 15-25 reasons for this error and probably there are even more reasons.

M'y computer show me (thé châssis has been opened press f1 to continue) warning but the keyboard wont work . and its fine i tryed it in mt freind PC please help meeeee
1. Enter in BIOS and the Security Disabled the Chassis Opened Warning....and Check your BIOS voltage, maybe is low.
2.If your keyboard is with USB plug and the PC is doesn't respond, then you have to try with a PS2 keyboard.

isnt you should have disconnected the HDD as the first step ? both power and data ?
otherwise, you might have fixed the PC non-display problem, yet ruined the hdd in the process..
bad sectored hdd always is a bad thing..

@@redigitt Thanks
Ok what if I tried all this and tried a different psu as well
Aloha, the no video signal error may occur for several reasons.
Test your VGA card in another PC.
Thanks it works

What if i dont have those devices?
You borrow a PSU .
I remove my RAM and it beeps.. what does that mean?
The motherboard send the warning sound, because you removed the memory, whitout memory the motherboard don't work. You have to put back the memory.
If you already inserted the memory and still beeps, remove the memory and clean from dust the RAM slot and then insert back the RAM.
@@redigittokay thanks... i have the same issue like this, so this means that my power supply is also broken?
1. If you made a visual inspection and one or more capacitors are bulged, then your power supply need a fix(replace the bad capacitors)
2. If before removing the RAM the computer worked OK and after you reassembled the memory it gave you the error sound, then it probably you have some dust in the memory slot or does not make contact with the memory. Take it out and put it back again...if ths dose\t works you can try to reset you BIOS.
@@redigitt okay thanks...
