Great video. One tip - When pre lubricating the engine oil filter, fill the engine oil from the center not from outside, engine oil flows from inside out for the oil filter. Good videography by the way ✌️
Thanks for the info brother ✌️
Now this is what we call quality content!!!🔥
Thank you !!
My dealer wanted $600 for the first 300 mile service (that's including a 20% discount). I decide to do the oil change myself, and I'm glad I did it.. The dealer doesn't use good oil, and I don't have control over it. I got Motul 300V 15w-50, and after the change, the engine ran so smooth. Gear change was noticeably smoother as well. The process was a breeze. Bought the filter off amazon for $12 and the oil was about $66. Just need a wrench; very straightforward process. Now I will watch youtube to understand how to check the tappet. Save myself a ton of money.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that doing the oil change yourself made such a positive difference. Motul 300V is an excellent choice, and it's awesome that you noticed improvements in the engine and gear changes. DIY maintenance can be advantageous and cost-effective. Good luck with checking the tappet-TH-cam tutorials are a fantastic resource.

Super 👌 nice 👍
Thank you 🤗
Now you r ready to move in to the sky
Hi bro, nice video I too have the same colour himalayan and I am in search to get some nice tack stickers I have noticed that you have changed the tank stickers which are attractive so is there any link to buy them
Hello, The sticker which I have on my Himalayan is a custom sticker designed by me and took a sticker print-out and sticked on top of the pre installed sticker 😀
Company recomended oil grade is 15w50. Can we use 10w50 grade for Himalayan 411????
Yes you can.
Great work man❤
Thank you so much 😀
Why remove the big drain bolt? You have to remove the entire case to replace gasket anyway.
You can directly remove the case, it's good to remove and clean the drain bolt once in a while.
Also cleaner, you can control the draining oil better.
Wonderful
Complete rider❤
✌️✌️
Is the 1.5L pack enough?
Better to keep 2L. Requires 1.6-1.8L
Wow nice work bro, pls xplain for dominor 250 also 😛
Will try
May I know sir why did you use Thunderbirds clutch wire
The Himalayan clutch cable is short to comfortably reach the handlebar, especially since I’ve installed a wider and more extended handlebar.
How much engine oil to refill
For Himalayan, an oil change requires about 1.8-2 liters of engine oil. While filling, keep an eye on the oil level through the glass window. Once it reaches the upper mark, close the oil lid, start the engine, and let it run for about 5 minutes. Then, turn off the engine, wait another 5 minutes, and recheck the level. If needed, top it up until it reaches the upper mark again.
@cameyephotography manual tells 1.6.
Every one on TH-cam tells different stories
@@robertirom6You’re right; the manual does specify 1.6 liters, but to ensure the oil reaches the optimal level, especially after an oil filter change, it’s best to follow the manual as a baseline and use the glass window as a guide. Fill to the upper mark, run the engine briefly, let it settle, and check again.
@@cameyephotography thanks bro

Can i use Motul 7100 10w50 on my classic Reborn
You can use 7100. But for normal use company recommend 15w50 semi synthetic is more than enough.
👏
Hey brother,
Plz suggest me engine oil for Himalayan..
What is your experience with Motul?
5100 or 7100? Or stock RE oil
Plz suggest.
Motul 5100 and stock RE oil felt similar but after using 7100 the engine is running smooth and even the gear shifts are not hard.
Okay changing my order, also one more thing should i add Oil additive with 7100 or raw oil is fine?
Raw oil is fine.
Why 10w 50 and not 15 w 50
15W50 is not available in motul 7100
Most overrated synthetic oil is motul 7100 mate
What made you think it's overrated?
