Heya Angela and Chaos Cultist. Those Skaven look great and like those choice of colors. Kinda got that Green Bay Packers feel, and with that cheddar vibe, well just fits LOL. You should be seeing me around a bit more since the other side of things is slowing down a little bit. Long story, won't bore ya with it here.
@@HobbyNight everything is great. I have 2 channels, the outdoors channel took off a good bit, so I was pushing that for a good bit. It seemed to level off some, so, coming back to this one a bit more to try and kick this one in the rear end some LOL.

Great video, the Skaven blood bowl team has always been a fav even if I don't play. A neat idea for a painting challenge is picking 5 base paint colours and mixing them with white, black, or the other colours to get different colours and shades.
I think a good challenge would be to narrow the color pallet even more! Or specific colors. Say...hmm...what about a challenge where the only colors you can use are... Iyanden Yellow Blood Angel's Red Ultramarine Blue Wraithbone A black color of your choice Texture paints for basing. I've been getting into mixing contrast paints for new tones lately, so I think an interesting challegne ould be to see what colors you're able to mix up with the primary colors! Also, gonna second other people that I'd love to see a tutorial on the big Cthulhu statue as well! ...Though...uh...as someone who's painted several BIG models at this point (none of which approach Cthulhu's size mind), you might want to wait until you've got an airbrush set-up going to do that one. And good news on that front, contrast paints work GREAT through an airbrush!
This has been helpful. I'm a pretty experienced painter, especially for DnD minis, but after a failed attempt at some wererats I've been intimidated to tackle my new Skaven team, the Cistern Skeevers. Just can't decide on that fur and tail color!
You two are funny and obviously a great couple! The rat boys look good, too--I wouldn't have thought to use yellow alongside green like that. I may never find me a pretty nerd girl to share my life with--such as it is--but dang it, I can improve my painting skills while I'm at it.
I had not thought of it this way, but a lot of people mentioned I went 'Greenbay' with them. So sometimes looking at Sports Uniform colors IRL is a good source of inspiration!
The jump between 9:57 and 10:03 Makes me believe you had either given new bases or skipped a major part like you went in a completely different color direction. It just does not add up add up.
