And yes! The picture you spoke about (right after my rugs 😊) was from my table, as well. The plastic things you were referring to in the package were actually sturdy double-sided tape for hanging the pictures. I try to include them for all of my customers. They work great! Oh! And I love the idea of adding the antiquing to the picture frame. That will be a nice highlight.

Hello Gretchen! Thanks for sharing the Ann Arbor miniature show with us. I was unable to attend, but am so glad that you filmed some of it for us! I just couldn't disappoint my grand daughter by missing taking her to a fairy festival at Indigo lavender in Imlay City, MI. on the same day as the miniature show. Maybe I'll make it next year! Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks so much, what amazing miniatures all in one place! I'm originally from the Detroit area, but I'm way up in Marquette now. But if I did live anywhere remotely near to Ann Arbor, I would definitely check out this show! What I've found is so much fun about miniatures is that the enthusiasm is often so contagious. I'm often amazed at the the surprised and delighted reactions of friends and family to the world of miniatures now that I'm involved in it. My daughter has discovered the way to my heart at Christmas, my birthday and Mother's Day: miniatures! Some from Etsy, but she has even found some adorable things at our local vintage resale shop, like three porcelain graduated sized swan planters in 1/12 scale, made in Japan decades ago, they're now on a fireplace mantel. Which reminds me, Happy Mother's Day to you and all your dolls!❤

I live in Ann Arbor and had been looking forward to this show for months and months. Unfortunately, I ended up having to work the entire weekend. Watching this video makes me so happy and so sad! It's beautiful. I'm glad it was a success and hope you all had a great time!!

Hello Gretchen, thank you for taking us with you to the show, there were some wonderful things to see, and you bought some lovely things, I have to have a list when I go to miniature shows too, otherwise I end up buying things I already have or I'll never use just because I like how they look 😅
The next show I'll go to in at York Racecourse on 2nd June, then it will be the autumn before the next one, I'd love to go the the big one in London one day, but its way out of my budget just for the travel costs alone. Have a wonderful week.

My mothers day was real mixed bag this year. I lost my father, it was a really complicated relationship and we hadn't spoken for a long time, but I am still going to have to take time processing the loss. But it made me truly appreciate my own little family and I spent time hugging my husband and kids, telling them just how much I appreciate and love them all.

I must say how completely cute you look going out with your WYKTF tee shirt and cardigan (I'm a cardi girl myself and yours looks great) and your sweet smile. 🥰 So much fun shopping with you and hearing all about other miniaturists and your dolls. My overwhelming fave of your finds is the microscope! WOW! What a cool mini! Don't believe I've ever seen one. I was kind of bummed you didn't get the beheaded doll, but I understand..we can't save them all. 😂. I enjoyed all your household finds, especially the flour and the yardsticks. I have a small collection of vintage rulers..but they're strictly for looks. LOLOLOL! 😂🥰✨
Thank you I do love cardigans so very much! And I recently found that one and it reminded me of what I had when I was a little girl with a cute little flowers on it! I may be way too old for a "baby cardigan" but I still love them! I had such a wonderful time that Day! I can hardly believe how many people recognized me! Oh and that Doll actually did have a head that just wasn't connected and it was only $3. I don't even remember why I didn't get it. I think I started talking to someone!!!🤭😀🤣😅💖 But I already have a drawer full of dolls that need to be dressed and completed so I think I should get them in order before I buy more 🤣!

It truly is WONDERFUL ! Like being a kid in a Candy 🍬 🍭 🍬 store!!!!! I always have a hard time deciding what I'm going to get that's why I try to shop with a list! But even with a list things go off the rails 🤭🤣😅💖💖💖💖

Do they have this show in Ann Arbor every year? If so I will sure and try to make it next year. I couldn’t come this year even if I had known about. My BD was on Mother’s Day and my daughter was coming up on Saturday.
After I retired in 14 we moved to Florida for 7 years, then my husband passed and I moved back home to be with my family. I was so sad to find there was no longer miniature shops. Ann Arbor is only about an hour from me so I will love to come to future shows there.
