I got a set of 3 pretty soaps that smelled good back when I was a teenager kept them till they got chipped and one broke in a move then I used them. But yeah you’ll see pretty soap/candles at my place that won’t be used unless it’s a dire emergency.😅

What a gift you are! Love your voice! To me you remind me of a radio D J in the seventies! Recently retired to be home full time with my husband who had a stroke twenty years ago. I need to be here but not really caretake much. I was a dementia specialist and worked in their homes. My craft room is on the second floor but as our house was being built by just the two of us, when his stroke happened. A now really appreciated unfinished part of it overhangs our living room. We had temporarily installed big heavy old Anderson wooden library windows and a wrought iron railing for safety during the construction. Now I can craft away and be near , hearing and seeing him when he is in his chair! Instead of him feeling overseen…his word! I can be the fly on the wall! Sometimes we need to look for our blessings! The miniature world has awoken the past art teacher in me! I’m creating dioramas and smaller scale rooms or buildings. You are a gem in my toolbox! Know you make a peaceful talented difference in at least my life! I love learning and in every video you teach me something new! Thanks dolling!

Yes we had lovely soaps from yardley ,all my family members had them in their bathroom . Do you remember some we’re shaped like birds or swans..My husbands grand mom had some too hers were just so lovely really strong in their scent even though they had age.. I understand you getting carried away,I’m just so happy to hear your doing better. I know you were squeaking with joy when you figured out those pieces would fit in that display case. This method is incredibly helpful, thanks so much for this video. I'm trying to make a button-down shirt in 1:18 scale for a 4" figure, so obviously doing this in much smaller pieces, but the construction is a great idea. :-) Was previously trying actual sew cut patterns, but all the separate pieces made it really tough in such a small scale, but this "poncho" method and doing the sleeves *first* is terrific. Really appreciate it!

For the perfume counter, don't forget to make a cup of coffee beans for customers to clear their sinuses with, and a cup with strips of paper for them to spray samples on 😊

At home we used Castille soap for everything. My Aunt Gerry always had pink Dove soap. Any reason to use the WC and sniff the fancy soap. Glad you're back up!

My grandma and mom had those little soaps. And I have them too! Lol. Also the little bath oil beads in diff shapes (those get used). Not in style anymore in a real bathroom, so good we have our Littles! 😊

Hello Gretchen, I am so pleased to hear you are feeling better and finally back in your happy place and crafting again. These are lovely, I really like the silica gel beads. They give a lil bit of realism to the green grapes. Great experiment!! Thry look yummy!👌 ❤️🥰

Look at you having yourself a craft explosion! LOL So many beautiful soaps, perfumes and nail polishes. The dolls won't be running low on them for a good long time now. I swear I could just about smell the fancy soaps when you were making them. Maybe one day I will relent and let the family use my fancy, "look but don't touch soaps".....maybe LOL
