Ooooooo! That's pretty, esp the green sparkly parts. I don't understand the special paper and why it doesn't catch fire but I love crafts and learning new things. Thanks for sharing! 💕

Thank you for your encouraging comments Sandra - I enjoy making the videos, so it is so good when I hear that people enjoy watching them too.
Yes, the pendant I'm wearing in this is one of my favourites. It was a 'failure' to begin with and I reworked it using my diamond saw, and gave it a fire-polish in the kiln. I will try making something similar on video very soon.

How do you finish fire polish ? I have never had any video tell us.

With microwave glass fusing we have really good control over the fusing process because we can start and stop the heating of the glass when we like (unlike a traditional larger kiln). What we are looking for when the time is up on the microwave is the colour and the texture of the glass, and will stop fusing it at that point if is what we desire as the final outcome, or continue if we want a softer, more glossy texture/shape..

After watching this video three times and still having no clue as to what is happening I have to comment and say, please for goodness sake zoom in closer so we can see what you're doing! I'm very interested in learning how to make that pendant..

Thanks for your video tutorials, I love them! You will make a video with the pendant you are wearing in this tutorial? It looks very nice.

I love your accent. I wonder if your microwave turns or rotates. Yes, I am getting very addicted to being able to look at the piece and stop the microwave any time I want. At first I was shy about lifting the top of the kiln to see how the piece was doing and had many mistakes. Now I lift it and have great results. I wonder about your kiln. You placed it on the base so easily so do you have a little more space to fit on the top than other kilns? Love your videos. Love that you have no music.

Lovely but I can't really see what you are doing. Maybe your more recent videos are more newbie friendly lol. Very interesting though!

Thanks for the video. Lovely piece you made. I thought I heard you say your microwave was 100 Watts but I must have heard wrong. Could you tell me what the wattage is on your microwave? Is it 1000 Watts perhaps?

What are you looking for when the time is up on the microwave? Are you looking to make sure everything is melted?

You really need to get camera close ups of the work so people can see it. You are pretty but I am interested in what you are doing not seeing you so much. Thanks for doing the video just can't see much.

Sorry, not a great video. I don't usually post negative comments, but if you're doing a video showing a technique, why are we watching you from the front? Perhaps get an overhead camera mount or projector so that we can actually see what you are doing.

Another very poorly filmed vid from this crew. Stop making instructional videos from 10 feet away.
