Any microwave can be used with the microwave kiln, however, if you are going to fuse with glass other than the fuseworks, you should have a dedicated kiln. The fuseworks glass does not have lead in it as does regular fusible glass. However, we at Delphi always recommend using a dedicated microwave.

The kiln is very small so no way to stack separate pieces. Unlike ceramics for glass we do not recommend stacking for proper air venting and even heating.

How do you make your own decals with your own images?
To make your own decals you will need Photo Fusing Paper www.delphiglass.com/fusing-embellishments/fusible-paper/fusing-photo-paper-10-pack. You will also need an ink jet printer with an ink cartridge that has a high iron content. Print the image on this paper, then submerge the image in water for about 30 seconds. Then peel the backing off of the image and place image on your glass. Use a soft towel to blot excess water from the image, being careful not to tear or move the image from its placement. The image then needs to dry completely and then it is ready to fuse.
