  • In this video, learn how to make a layered dichroic glass tile, fuse it in the kiln, and cut it into pieces for jewelry.
Using HoneyDoo Zuper Glue allows you to easily transport the stack to the kiln without it shifting or falling apart.
If you've ever had super glue cure in the bottle after only using it once, then you'll love Honey Doo Zuper Glue! The triple distilled process of HoneyDoo Zuper Glue removes all the impurities during the manufacturing process, producing a cleaner and more consistent bond each and every time. HoneyDoo Zuper Glue remains pure and ready for use over and over again.
HoneyDoo Zuper Glue cures quickly and burns off clean in the kiln, making it ideal for using with fused glass projects that are made up of several small pieces.

This is a great video! I just started glass fusing and wanted some good, specific instructions on the best way to create good dichroic pieces. Your video answered ALL of my questions. I wasn't sure if I should grind before or after firing, now I see I can do both. Your designs are great! Thank you! I will be ordering your glue too!

Ah! Now I see what video you were talking about, Ed! This piece was hefty, with about 5 layers, I think. I did not dam this piece, but let it flow at a full fuse. And, yes, the dichro on black definitely goes on the bottom layer, otherwise it would block out the layer of dichro underneath:)

See if you can find a glass studio in your area. Generally they have beginning classes that make it easier to make the commitment without being afraid to "mess things up." The more you play, the better you get!

I think you should be able to use this in a microwave kiln, but you'd want to make sure it's a separate microwave from cooking and that it's locate in a well-ventilated area (like a garage studio with open windows).

Can you use this glue in a microwave kiln?

It's difficult to see how many layers she has. Does she have two layers of dichro black and one of dichro clear? She doesn't say it but I'm certain the dichro on black must go on the bottom layer and the clear dichro on the upper level(s).
