Wonderful video , thank you for sharing. Beautiful peice of jewlery. my eyes are not what they once were, is there any way you could include more close up photos of certain steps, like in the introduction..a straight down view of glass placement before you put in mw , after it comes out ? There was a great close up near the end. Maybe I just need a bigger phone lol. But thank you for this tutorial. I've learned from you on other videos as well :) very clear instructions and great work. 😊 ty
Love what you're doing, I have lots of Dichro that I put up after moving, GETTING INSPIRED AGAIN! Cute ring! Thanks for sharing, Deborah
Excellent Video!!!! I enjoy all your videos!!! Beautiful jewelry!!!
I just discovered you and am fascinated with your work..
Great tutorial...thank you
Gorgeous pendant!
Thank you!!
very helpful it explained a lot
Thank you, nice video
not sure if I missed it but how did you make the hole for the jump ring ?
Hi Alhex, we are producing more videos now and they will all have much better close-up camera work. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching our video and commenting. I haven't ever used COE 33, but I understand that it has a higher melting temp than COE 90, therefore you would need to fuse it for a longer time period in the microwave kiln, I'm guessing.
nice
90 (bullseye) or System96 (many companies) coe is for fusing mainstream ... The borosilicate family (33coe) types can and have been used but the energy it takes to do so makes it a waste of $. TY for the demo, was very informative and I dig the accent lotz 8).
Hello Debbie, you inspired me with your videos fusing glass in a microwave kiln it is really fun to see the end results, but I am having a problem a problem and I don`t know why it is happening when I open my kiln after its cooled down there is frequently 1 piece that is ok and the other is looks like if the dicro that is between the top glass layer is grey it looks like it boiled or burnt between the glass and the other one is perfect the store that sold me the dicro said that they were all 096. would you have an idea why this happens?
perdonen donde puedo conseguir los fuse art stickers, ? nesesito un diseño especial, donde podria mandar a aserlo?
If using a ceramic kiln, what temperature do you fire? Also do need to use different ramps? Thanks, trying to start making dicro glass pendants in my kiln
So you can put kiln to a regular microwave and glass will melt?
how do you smooth the back of the pendant?
How do you make your bracelet. It is so pretty.
The bracelet is glass fused with a white background piece of glass with a smaller blue glass piece fused on top using the same technique shown in this video. The glass piece is then glued using E6000 onto a silver cuff bracelet.
Beautiful! Do u use a ceramic kiln or is there one for glass?
+Nancy Daniel I believe they use the regular one as long as it gets to the temp needed.
Hi .. I like your videos, but can you do a better getting close of the piece on their specific indications? THANK YOU ...
GENERALLY I LOVE THESE VIDEOS, HOWEVER SHE NEEDS A MUCH BETTER MICROPHONE, ALL MY VOLUME SETTINGS ARE AT 100% AN IT IS BARELY A WHISPER
I couldn't hear her at all.
need to have closer shots, hard to see from this distance......
Sorry, I can't give you the answer to that one - we use only COE 90. Perhaps someone else could help here?
Is the dichroic facing down? I thought unless you cap with clear you have to face it down… is this right?
The dichroic should be face up.
Was unable to see the finished pendant, camera view too far away. Since only one strip of clear was at an angle wouldn’t the piece be off center. Rather than showing the whole scene it would be better to just see a overhead view of just the piece you’re working on, no hands, surroundings, etc.
I like her stuff to bad we can't see. The camera is so far
can't see a thing you are doing...fyi
Agree
it doesnt work, I lost my money
