Lovely pendant! That purple colour is stunning. In retrospect, how would you have changed the fuse times in hopes of retaining more of the texture on the iridescent background piece? I love your videos and learn something new in every one. Thank you very much for making the videos.
As someone who makes stained glass windows, you're putting too much pressure on the glass when you cut it. You can tell because it makes that harsh noise. I'm not sure if it's different because you heat the glass, but if you do this with stained glass, it can cause fault lines in the glass & make it weaker, & also makes the glass more jagged. & for very small pieces, like when you trim the final piece, you never used those pliers as its way to small to get a good grip (also can cause more pressure, resulting in breaks)- Instead, you use 2 smaller pliers, & pull away from each other.
Thanks Skye - yes, one of my favourite summer ones - I love colour. I'm pleased you are finding my videos helpful.........more to come
Oh, thanks so much! So pleased you find them helpful. More coming soon....
Thanks for your encouraging comments! To retain the texture, we could have fired this piece for around 30 - 60 seconds less.
Thank you for the helpful lessons! You are so talented!,
I am amazed. I have to try this!
BEAUTIFUL!

Have you tried cutting glass under water with scissors??
Good video, informative and well presented, however the sound is terrible.
I can't hear you on most of your videos
It would be much better if you could talk louder. Sorry I just can't hear you
