I'm an ISTP. I am an exhibit technician/art handler for a natural history museum. I love outdoor activities like hiking, camping, gardening, and sports. I love to figure out how to do things for myself, i.e. fix my vehicles, home renovations, cooking. I have a knack for design and I feel like I can quickly solve spatial problems. I seem to get obsessed with a subject/project/activity for a few months, then I sort of just move on from it when it becomes boring or I feel like I've mastered it (or when I feel frustrated that I never will master it). My wife gets frustrated with me because she says I'm not "consistent." It's true, but consistency is sometimes boring, I think. I know how to do a lot more stuff than my wife does (and most people do) because I explore and cultivate various interests of mine, which range from bonsai to perfumes! Ha. I'm a weirdo. But whatevs.
Istp female😍😘 im a nurse,i fix things around the house ,when guys get emotional i get really uncomfortable because i dont know what to say. I like strong type guys.
Skorpio g! That name says a lot about you all by itself, but I wonder what you are like. Are you like a Million Dollar Baby or a Big Fish in a small pond or legendary like the unicorn? I'll guess that you are kinda more like a Triple X adrenaline junkie, very competitive, and like it like 2Fast2Furious. But I'll bet that your sensuality and spirit is more relatable to Catwoman (like the Halle Berry movie) unless you like to Set If Off like Cleo (like the Queen Latifa movie). Are you into the self sufficiency and DIY like Destiny's Child Independent Women, or you're tough enough to go 21 days on Naked and Afraid? I'm just curious about a female ISTP. Are you a chick that thrives in the moment, knows what do, knows how to make things happen, got keen senses and focus?
I just typed as ISTP and i think it really fits me. I used to always test as INTJ though. I claimed that for a long time. It never totally felt right though. I think ISTP is more accurate. Not sure why. Maybe my P was too all over the place to want to admit my spontaneity. I don't have answers but I had the same problem. I think ISTP fits me a lot better.
@@jeremysmith9694Well Jeremy, in my case those times that I was typed as INTJ, I used to be into philosophy and meaning of "everything" a lot; but frankly I never understood a thing of them because I didn't find them "practical" or something that could be used in "real life". As a characteristic of ISTP, people with this personality have more pragmatic mind (As I've read on the web, yet don't know about others). sometimes I start to think about meaning of things, but as soon as it starts, I always try to stop it because I consider it waste of my energy and mind power. I tell myself, some flashbacks at some points in life, doesn't mean personality change. ;)
@@siavashdrn3568 I think I can understand what you mean but since we people are still emotional/spiritual social/selective cognitive/innovative beings, it's not at all a waste of time to question, research, and/or test original our own ideas and theories. Philosophy at the root meaning of the word is love (of wisdom) and this taps into understanding the hearts (and minds) of men. Theory, at its core root, represents a name for GOD. So, proving theories is proving GOD, studying philosophy is a way of understanding people. Mankind's entire progression into the modern-day world was built by first processing the ideas behind a theory or pursuing a philosophical thought, then putting it into practice. ISTP personalities have a duality. We have the natural ability to thrive in the present moment, but we also have natural instinct to think objectively, which is another present from GOD I AM. ("I" has Latin roots to describe the ego, the consciousness, the mind's eye, and "am" is defined as a present form of be, being, "existing", happening right now in the moment. Therefore, I AM means that the mind exist.) My point is that being a ISTP personality type comes with flexibility as if we can phase through any of the rest of the personality types when needed. And I'm willing to bet that the first of the modern-day Homo Sapiens were ISTP personalities who first imagined different outcomes and resolutions.
it's actually very in character for ISTP to act out of character for limited periods of time. I relate a lot to what you said about philosophy and geopolitics. I had some grasp of it but ultimately found most of it useless. There are certain aspects of it I still like tho.
my boss gave me 2 skillful trading options .. and i had to choose one of those trades carpenter and electrician ... which do you think should i choose ..? I am a male istp .. and I like both jobs but I have to choose one of them and I hope your answer can help god bless
I think of a worker not dedicated to any one craft. My two brothers and my dad are totally dedicated to what they do but I am all over the place, like a free agent.

Former INTJ. I have been a stable ISTP for more than 3 years. But, sometimes I guess my INTJ side knocks the door. Any clue?
