Thanks so much for making this video! It didn’t work the first 3 or 4 times I tried (2020 Ti Lusso RWD). Then I found a comment on an Alfa Romeo forum and somehow after combining that advice with the method in this excellent video, it worked. Here’s the comment in case it helps: “…each press of the pedal need to be progressive and all the way to the floor. It isn't a race to see how fast it can be done. Take a full second to push the pedal down and let it come back up each time, lift your foot off the pedal entirely and give it a millisecond pause before pushing it the next time. Put your entier foot on the pedal, press the whole thing down top of the pedal to the bottom, somehow the car knows and it doesn't work if the entier pedal isn't pressed. (There is a small amount of movement at the bottom of the pedal and I am pretty positive that movement is sensed.)”
Are you aware of the MultiAir function? From what i understand it is a separate parameter that needs to be reset in addition to the service interval indicator. Can be done using the Multiecuscan software.
Hi Jon! I have tried your method a couple of times on my 2018 2.0 Super. But didn’t make it work. Maybe because it is European? Or automatic? Thanks anyway 😊
I’ve gotten reviews from people with euro models, make sure you’re really slamming down the pedal, and don’t feel like you’ve gotta go about it quickly. Hope that helps!
Your method does not work! 2019 Giulia TI Sport. Oil change required still comes up every time I start the car. You better go back to the drawing board.
Thanks for posting this but it didn't work for me .... but this did ... For the instrument cluster, turn on the car turn off the car open and close driver door without touching the brake pedal turn on the car wait for 2 to 4 seconds depress the gas pedal completely till you feel the click and release 3 times with one-second gap between each Turn off car Start the engine as usual

This worked first try with his advice and yours combined! But without the pedal instructions no good.
Confirmed on Stelvio 2018, thank you so much
Glad it worked for you!
Hi, thanks so much for sharing. I tried numerous different methods and it did not work your method worked. You save me about $350 at the dealer.

@@DomSchiavoni interesting, I was unaware. Thanks for sharing!
Tried three times on my wife's 2020 and no luck. Worked on her 17' but can't seem to crack the code on this one
Darn sorry to hear it didn’t work on the 2020 but glad it worked on the ‘17!
Don't work on 2020
I can’t get it on my 2017 Stelvio 😢. Been trying for 5 times.

You the man!!!!

Glad to hear it worked for you too! Cheers
Works for 22 as well
Thanks for sharing! Glad it helped!
What did you do? It’s not working for me for some reason
Works for the 2017 as well.
Worked on a 2019 ti carbon
Thanks for sharing! Glad this helped!
It didn't work on my 2019 ti carbon. You got lucky I guess.
I have a 2017 giliua ti and this does not work any other solutions
Make sure you’re stomping the pedal when doing this
Didn’t work for my 2019 ti
Tried it twice, oil change indicator still pops out :/
What year and model? Also are you really stomping the pedal?
Doesn’t work on european 2018 2.2 diesel Stelvio.
Sorry to hear that!
It worked on one 2020 giulia but not on the second 2020 giulia
Interesting. Same trim and engine?
yes@@jonandjonsghettogarage
Knew this wouldn't work. Did the exact process
Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you. What’s your model, year and trim?
@@jonandjonsghettogarage I actually did it again and the CEL went away sorry for jumping the gun. Thanks for the video
@@G00N_DEPO glad to hear!
Cars all suck! The manufacturers just want you to go back to the dealer for service. It’s all about money!
Your method does not work! 2019 Giulia TI Sport. Oil change required still comes up every time I start the car. You better go back to the drawing board.
are you compressing the pedal all the way and releasing it all the way every time? People with your exact model are finding success.
THis does not work
Thanks for posting this but it didn't work for me .... but this did ...
For the instrument cluster,
turn on the car
turn off the car
open and close driver door
without touching the brake pedal turn on the car
wait for 2 to 4 seconds
depress the gas pedal completely till you feel the click and release 3 times with one-second gap between each
Turn off car
Start the engine as usual
Thanks for sharing! Alpha Romeo sure seems to have some weird quirks in their systems! What is your make model and trim so people can reference this?
This does not work at all.
Gas pedal 6 time only
