Have learned to just live with some of the warnings (including odo. flashing because of changing the entertainment control knob), warning lights that come on because I do my own oil changes, etc etc. I just refuse to fork over the money for the dealership to reset these things. Thanks for watching! Well my advice is to just go on Amazon and get a cheap windows laptop that is dedicated for tuning and multiecuscan. You can but it’s not an easy process because they don’t have a version for Mac. If you ever need one on one help I do that as well for donation . Just email me at alfamods512@gmail.com
Do you know of a adjustment that can quiet the interior chimes. It seems its louder when the radio volume was left a little louder at turn off. But the chimes are over powered.

Hey there - great channel, love the content. If you don’t mind, I have a question about this topic. My Giulia 2020 Ti Sport mirrors are not unfolding automatically anymore. This happened after I got a new BCM replacement installed by my dealer (long story) as an attempt to solve a problem with my interior and puddle lights not coming on. Back to the mirrors - I went back to the dealer and they “reflashed” and “reset” everything but it didn’t fix. I have yet to schedule another visit to the dealer - which btw is my main pain point about owing an Alfa. I am wondering if the auto unfolding of the side mirrors is an option that can be modified via multiecuscan, do you happen to know that?
I did the infamous dash christmas tree checking my pads. I'm assuming this cable and the MES off Alfissimo will help me clear everything out? Appreciate the video, very clear.
@alfamods2.0T will I need a SGW bypass too? Some videos show people taking the speedo cluster out to install a bypass. I took my pads off, found they were fine and put the back on so there *shouldn't* be any actual codes. Ordered the OBD Link, adapter cables and MES. Not sure if I can clear everything with those 3 or need the SGW?
Hello, i have a 2021 Guilia. Do i need the blue and gray cable to do an oil life reset? Also i tried to look for the blue and gray cable on your amazon hyper link and it said it's unavailable. Also where can i get the multiecuscan? Do i have to pay for a subscription?
Have my own stock now if the blue and grey can 30 plus 5 shipping. You don’t need them for just the maintenance reset. Oil reset you just push the pedal 6 times fast while the door is closed or use Multiecuscan. No subscription it’s 50 Euros 1 time fee. Well I should have it in a few weeks. You need a retrofit harness but other than that it’s plug and play. Harness isn’t cheap either. All functions work but no matrix just high low turn signal.
My proxy alignment fails to execute. Every time I connect the gray cable it gives me a timed-out error. I tried these settings, different speeds, and latency, and it doesn't work. My parking sensors are not working and the odometer is flashing. Dont know what to do. Help please
Yeah I will make an updated video what I’ve learned is settings are not the same for every computer. Start out in settings go to scan for interface and save the number it auto generated press ok. Latency in windows has always been good around 5-8 that’s in port settings advanced you have to play around with it. Also don’t let the car just sit there for hours while you learn. Keep it on a charger if your doing this or long periods of time or the battery will get low and it will time out regardless of settings.
I know this had nothing to do with the video but does installing squadra drive and a race dnr void a mopar max warranty? Or will the dealership refuse to do work?
@@polandsprings21 Race mode no it’s harder for them to blame something on that Squadra is a bit different I mean you can’t expect them to cover a turbo for example when your tuned. If you get a bench tune (send yours in) it’s not detectable, if you flash it your self the dealer can see it in the counters.

Yes absolutely you need the program and all 3 cables the red blue and grey. You just enable them in the program and do a proxy alignment just like in the video

I was able to look for alarms with a small android ELM327 wifi solution that just not show or allow to make this alignment. I would never do wireless. Wired connections only OBD SX is what I use and recommend. You need the adapters as well. Download the program on a laptop and you should be running for about 150 usd. I’m going to be selling a wired kit soon enough. OBD link MX+ is the only wireless one you can use still has to be used with multiecuscan or alfaob

Hey, NOT Alfamods here, but I just went through this entire process this past weekend. I tried at first with the free version, and it did not work. You'll notice the free version, many of the sub items are in red. When in red, those functions are not useable. When you purchase the full version, those items turn blue, and are now useable. Bought mine directly off of MES website for 50 euros. Not much more in us $$.

Hi again bro; My stelvio notifies me of the error sound system not available but everything works correctly, how can I delete that error, in which section in the multiscan program should I enter to delete the code?
@@alfamods2.0T I run the general scan and delete the active codes but even so the error persists; and in the engine sound enhacement module section I can't connect, I think I need the blue cable to do it

I’ve done maybe 30 or so proxy alignments with my settings, sure I recommend 1, but it doesn’t hurt anything where my current settings are at. It’s different based on your hardware and settings I’ve timed out at 1 as well so not always.

It’s the settings what version are you using? 5.1 I’ve had like 3 people tell me it’s timing out. Try playing with your settings low latency in windows device manger

Yes it will help you clear things unless there is an actual problem then it will stay.

Yeah if your car has the sgw. I have a 2018 Giulia QV which needed the bypass for the valve controller

Oil has to be at 3 bars temp with the car on when you reset or do the pedal method google it there is a long sequence

Hey Eric, I have a 2018 Guilia and I’m going to be replacing my fuel pump and module, with the multiscan software can I recalibrate my fuel level?
It will auto recalibrate after proxy alignment is done. If the module is new it will set the new vin in.

My Stelvio had not paddle shifter originally, recently I fitted with it, but it requires some programming, can I do it with that Cable?

Yes you do after you can use MES (multiecuscan) or a regular code reader for less in depth

High latency mode is not an option at all, does not have that box but test says all good. Any ideas?

Latency timer setting should be set to 1.
I’ve done maybe 30 or so proxy alignments with my settings, sure I recommend 1, but it doesn’t hurt anything where my current settings are at. It’s different based on your hardware and settings I’ve timed out at 1 as well so not always.
