The one issue I had replacing mine is I could NOT get all of the codes to remove. I had a code for my dampers, and they did NOT work. I could not clear the code either. I ended up having to take it into the local Alfa dealer.
Hello, Thanks for your comment. I also had the active suspension error message but the error code disappeared with turning the steering wheel left and right. I will check if the multi écu scan can clear the error (probably it can) and let you know. In any case if you are maintaining your Giulia yourself, I would highly recommend you to buy a code clearer software. My side I am using Multi Ecu Scan. It’s not the best but so far it helped a lot.
I connected a battery pack to the terminals under the bonnet and put a rubber glove on the positive battery terminals so didn't have any codes as the car didn't realise the battery wasn't disconnected
