FUN FACT: I have the extended soundtrack where the song writers talked about a story arc called "The heir and the spare" where Anna is always the "other" princess. It really plays up an even bigger story between the sisters... where Anna is so focused on her problems she doesn't see how Elsa is suffering and likewise Elsa is so focused on her problems she doesn't see how Anna has been suffering. When Anna talks about Elsa coming back... the fight is about each complaining about the other not understanding their troubles. Later, when Anna is dying in the room, she and Elsa (out in the ice field) are singing a song where they are now understanding how rough it would have been for the other sister and how they regret not resolving these issues before now and may not get the chance at this point. It's a great song and I wish they had kept it to really give even more dimension to the relationship between the sisters. :) Early on there was a great song called "More than a spare" sung by Anna which I wish they had kept.
I like the new editing. I just don't like the preview clips. I get why they do it since it draws peoples short attention spans in. Minor gripe that I skip, but the editing does go hard.
Guys remember that Lilo & Stitch 2, even if it came out later than the last movie, goes before it in the timeline. Frozen is a great movie. People forget what i was like 10 years ago, when it came out. Sure, "Let it Go" might have been played too much, but it's amazing song that resonate with a lot of people. How do you think people felt when Lion King came out 20 years ago ? Don't you think the songs were played too much too ? That's the magic Disney lost for a couple of years now. Frozen and Tangled were the rebirth of Disney after years of movies that didn't worked that much, while other studios started to get some success. Frozen 2 is also an amazing movie that touch me on a deep level when I first watch it, especially "Into the Unknown" and "Show Yourself". It's just...you feel seen and it's a warm feeling to hold into. Hope you'll watch it.
Fun fact: When my family watched Frozen in theaters, when Hans said "if only there was someone out there who loved you", my dad started laughing and the entire theater turned to scowl at him 🤣🤣
The Hans reveal in theaters was a wild experience because it was literally a room of wives, daughters, women in general who all felt the same emotion and we all started yelling 😂😂
There are a lot of subtle things all through this film Elsa''s hands shaking during the coronation, Hans looking up at the chandeleir for a a fraction of a second before yanking the crossbow up to shoot the chain and drop it on Elsa.
PLEASE WATCH THE RISE OF THE GUARDIANS! even tho it isn't a Christmas movie, it's still pretty holiday-ish and perfect for winter, and also one of my favorite DreamWorks movies, it's a shame that it's so underrated, I think you guys would enjoy it, please give it a watch!
I remember one of my neighbor's little girls got a hold of their karaoke machine and kept singing "Let It Go" at full blast at least 4 times. At the end of every rendition, one of them says directly into the mic, "Again!" (This was in the Philippines, where karaoke is the national pasttime.)
18:03 since you guys watched the second one, the reason Elsa has it is because since her mom saved her own enemy, the queen was gifted to have her first kid get a gift(connected to the 4 elements where she grew up as northauldrian). Not related to the trolls but it’s believed that book the king grabbed is the same language as what their mom know/grew up with-too hard to spell)
26:44 "Maybe just don't shoot ice at her again." I mean the thing is when Elsa and Anna's parents brought them to the trolls, and they told them those "advices" (+ the parents literally isolating Elsa from everyone) - it made Elsa, as a child, believe her powers are dangerous. They never taught her that it can't be JUST harmful. And they only taught her to CONCEAL it, not CONTROL it. So, she grew up with fear that she'll harm everyone unless she stays away like how she built her own castle, far away from everyone to keep herself hidden.
the fact you guys didn't see Rapunzel with her short hair when Anna was opening the gate for the first time while singing rapz was walking by also the theory of Tarzan being their brother was due to the fact that when the parents ship was ruined due to the waves its similar to when Anna and Elsa's parents ship sank and survived with only the baby(Tarzan *)
ice was a pretty hot commodity before refrigeration. It would be stored in a very well insulated room, an Ice house, usually underground. When warm weather came around it would be sold to people to keep the foods in their icebox cool.
5:47 The theory, if I remember correctly, goes that Anna and Elsa's parents were on their way to Rapunzel's wedding or something (going from Norway to Germany, basically) and that their sunken ship is the one that Ariel explores in The Little Mermaid (off the coast of Denmark) While the theory does also say that they're also the parents of Tarzan, it simply doesn't fit in logically, like, a ship sinking on the way from Norway to Germany off the coast of Denmark makes sense, but a couple where the mom is neither pregnant nor has a baby with her, having a baby boy in her arms right as the ship sinks (engulfed in flames, btw) as they're also suddenly off the coast of Africa somehow? That just doesn't connect (and that's not even comparing the parents visually to tell that Tarzan's parents also looked different from Anna and Elsa's) The theory's still great without Tarzan in the mix though, especially considering the Rapunzel and Eugene cameo on the bridge when Anna leaves the castle
The Little Mermaid doesn't fit, either. Yes, the original story was written by a Danish author, but that doesn't mean the movie takes place in Denmark. It is clearly set somewhere much warmer, probably somewhere along the Mediterranean.
Fun Fact: When the gates first open and Anna is going out for the first time, you can actually see short haired Rapunzel and Eugene from Tangled. Its actually theorized that Anna and Elsa are cousins with Rapunzel, or at least have connections with them
16:52...There's an extra episode called FROZEN FEVER... it's based on Anna's birthday and Elsa arranging everything for the party and she catches cold I don't know if it's still available in TH-cam but it's hilarious
Everyone working on the film changed the story from the original The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Anderson with Elsa and Anna being sisters and Elsa being the evil queen once they heard let It Go. So glad they did. The building of Elsa's ice castle sequence took 9 months to animate.
Before the times of freezers, you had to harvest ice and snow to keep things cool. Ice was a heavy export of nordic countries, norway in particular since they have close access to mountains from harbours. It is why your fridges has ice boxes, cause you put your ice in there to keep it for longer.

In Finnish the baron weaseltown was "The baron who has no toilets" 😂😂 Vessaton Herttua I remember watching this with my family and we all laughed so hard. I was 13. One of the best and warmest memories.
As far back as I can remember, Frozen was the one animated film that I went to see multiple times (3 times to be exact). Like Tangled, this film made me harken back to the Disney films of the Renaissance Era, which was a big deal to me with its story, memorable music, and beloved characters, and (call it overrated if you want, but) I still consider Frozen as one of the best films of the Disney library!
So much wording in this movie that fits the allegory of coming out to family or a community. Elsa is told to “conceal it, don’t feel it” (a family telling their kid to hide their orientation out of fear), to be isolated from her sister for a decade (fear that one person’s sexuality will lead them to hurt others), and of course her changing her outfit from something she was always MADE/TOLD to dress like, to something that feels more like her, finding one’s identity. There’s also the fact Elsa was one of the few Disney princesses that doesn’t end up with a prince, and while her and Ana’s relationship never goes down a taboo route, they still reforge their relationship as sisters, and that still checks off for a good ending for 2 same-sex characters, even if they aren’t romantically involved. Disney will-of course-never claim those metaphors as being true, but they do match the unfortunate reality many queer youth have faced, and still do.
There are many things people are (made to be) ashamed of or afraid of others finding out, not just ones sexual desires. Some just because their social norms don't allow it, some that are actually bad (or at least dangerous, as in this case). While the parents went a bit over board (pun intended), asking her not to use her magic (while still a kid), at least while unsupervised, seems quite reasonable (just like you wouldn't let kids play with powertools while you're not there with them). I'm pointing this out because viewing this story as allegory for sexual concealment vs freedom would actually mean that, in the beginning, they DID go down the "taboo route", as you put it, Elsa and Ana doing "the thing" together and Elsa even "shooting" on Anas face at the end. And I don't even know what that would turn Olaf into. Sexualizing this isn't really that wholesome ... So, I'd rather keep it as a story about general shame that everybody can see their own personal shame in and maybe learn to grow from, rather than focussing it on that one particular issue.
Even if they wanted to, I don't think Disney would have made this movie an allegory or metaphor for sexuality, because this situation isn't exclusive to that. It's similar, but queer people aren't the only ones who have these scenarios. Me personally, this movie related to me on my emotions rather than sexuality. I struggle to feel emotions or grasp social concepts, so I was constantly taught methods for how to pretend to act like everyone else without saying or doing creepy things. The problem, though, was that when I did feel emotions, they were too strong, particularly anger. I would get angry and black out, hurting classmates without knowing it, once waking up to my friend bleeding from his head on the ground at recess. I spent more time around adults than kids, and was taught a lot of different things to handle both issues. Of course, this is different from sexuality, since being queer doesn't inherently hurt people on its own. In my situation, I still believe in controlling myself and a bit of concealment is needed to avoid undesirable situations. It's better that they keep the movie open to interpretation, so it can affect a larger group of people.
Makes me so happy to see you guys loving the movie! I do understand the annoyance of the songs constantly playing but I enjoy them. Probably helps that I don't have kids so I have full control over how often I hear them 😂. Anyways my point is that it's sad how much hate the movie gets because of the songs. Like I wish they would focus more on the message of the movie like the importance of family more specifically the bond between the two sisters. Like do you have any idea how many Disney movies have done that? Not a lot! 😂
One of the genres I listen to is Covers of Disney songs by this Christian Rock band called stellar kart. They have a bunch of Rock covers to Frozen songs. The cover of Do You Want To Build A Snowman has a guitar solo that happens during the part where their parents die, which I find hilarious to imagine over the scene in the movie
anna and hans couldn't date for more because the gates would have been shut. when anna sings about meeting the "one" she says, "I know it all ends tomorrow, so it has to be today" wich i think makes a lot of sense with how she acts with him
This is the movie of Disney's Resurgence Era that really skyrocketed how a Disney animated film should be. $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office and winning two Oscars for Best Animated Feature AND Best Original Song? It was all rightfully earned. Stars Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell as Elsa and Anna respectively gave wonderful performances as the lead heroines!
When the Disney crew were planning this movie, Elsa was supposed to be an evil Sorceress. And Anna was supposed to be the hero of the story. That lasted right up until the voice actor for Elsa sang let it go. Then they had to re-tool the whole movie for a whole new narrative. All because of that song.
The way i just started boiling a packet of frozen themed noodle soup a couple minutes before this dropped Normally i would just keep that to myself but i do like funny coincidences so here we are
i truly think that Frozen is a great movie, the music, the message. i do understand though if people say that they're tired of seeing/hearing of it, because it was greatly overhyped, especially among children. can't wait for you to watch the 2nd one!
This movie definitely has an issue or two what with them trying to shoehorn in our man Hans as the twist villain and what not, which is arguably what started the disappointing trend, but I still love it a lot. "Let It Go" is, despite being played to death, is definitely a song that you can't help but have a fondness for. It's genuinely like... THE power balad for the antisocial.😂
I still feel like Hans should have just kissed Anna and then blamed her for liking someone else when it didn't work. That way he's not the bad guy in the views of everyone

6:15 I could be misinterpreting everyone but I think she still has memories that she has a sister but because of her memory being spliced she doesn't know or understand why she refuses to let her in. Because the memory of the day she was injured was removed or at least the actual injury because she still knows to ask "Do you want to build a snowman?"
Honestly, since they snuck Rapunzel and Eugene in there, I honestly would love a crossover story with them and the Frozen characters! MAKE IT HAPPEN DISNEY! Tangles is my favorite of the Disney "Princess" movies, but I really did enjoy Frozen and Frozen 2!
You’ll see that when Anna sings her song ‘For the first time in forever’ and she walks outside the castle doors and you look closely that you’ll see Rapunzel with Flynn
The king said she was born with the magic, and it's likely not a secret from her family that she used it. I've always seen the part where Anna unfreezes as her act of true love, sacrificing herself to save Elsa, but I've also seen people think it was Elsa hugging her frozen body.

- Hans Christian Andersen’s name was used for 3 characters first being the villain Hans, Kristoff is a reference to Christian, & Anna is from Anderson (Gerda is the name of the protagonist in the book)
- During the start of movie you can see Rapunzel & Flynn from “Tangled” make a cameo
- Alan Tudyk plays the Duke of Weselton which they continue the joke where he also plays a weasel in Zootopia
Hans, kristoff, anna, sven -> hans christoph anderson
@@spritznar oh yeah I forgot about Sven
i remember haaaating frozen when it first came out. i was dying for a hand-drawn animated adaptation of the snow queen (the original fairy tale slaps). but i've learned to appreciate frozen as its own thing
Are flinn and rapunzel visible in this reaction clips?
@@hinasakukimi That was me with The Little Mermaid. I was so irate about it for so long! Now I honestly can't imagine how I could have been so irked -- I mean, it's a Disney movie! What did I expect?
Early on there was a great song called "More than a spare" sung by Anna which I wish they had kept.
Can’t believe it’s been 10 years…. I was 10 when it came out, and I just turned 21 2 weeks ago 😐
I was 8 lol
Dang I was 16 😢

idc what anyone says the new editing is hilarious 1:30 made me choke on my drink so hard that i might need to sue for emotional compensation
I like the new editing. I just don't like the preview clips. I get why they do it since it draws peoples short attention spans in. Minor gripe that I skip, but the editing does go hard.
"He's super charming but he has chlamydia"😂😂
Guys remember that Lilo & Stitch 2, even if it came out later than the last movie, goes before it in the timeline.
It's an important one for both Lilo and Stitch characters development and it reveals a bit more of information about Lilo family.
It doesn't go after the show 😅😅
No pressure of course 😊
Canadian here, moose and reindeer are fantastic swimmers!
edit: Forgot to mention, Sven is a reindeer. Moose are much taller than reindeer.
Fun fact: When my family watched Frozen in theaters, when Hans said "if only there was someone out there who loved you", my dad started laughing and the entire theater turned to scowl at him 🤣🤣
Frozen 2 explains a lot about where the magic comes from and such.
The “Fuck My Ass” parody of Let it Go will forever be the funniest thing to come out of this movie
The Hans reveal in theaters was a wild experience because it was literally a room of wives, daughters, women in general who all felt the same emotion and we all started yelling 😂😂
I believe when ana first burst through the gate in this scene 9:28 you can see rapunzel and flint in the bottom left
YES, I love that movie.
I remember one of my neighbor's little girls got a hold of their karaoke machine and kept singing "Let It Go" at full blast at least 4 times. At the end of every rendition, one of them says directly into the mic, "Again!"
(This was in the Philippines, where karaoke is the national pasttime.)
13:30 😮
16:26 Let it Go!
19:55 Kristoff is Deadmeat
23:30 Olaf!
24:37 🔥🔥🔥
25:14 Don't you dare Buddy!
33:50 Hans you SOB Peace of Crap!
40:28 Punchable Face!
Fun fact, "Let it Go" gets hella dark if you imagine she just destroyed the village and everyone in it.....
26:44 "Maybe just don't shoot ice at her again."
I mean the thing is when Elsa and Anna's parents brought them to the trolls, and they told them those "advices" (+ the parents literally isolating Elsa from everyone) - it made Elsa, as a child, believe her powers are dangerous. They never taught her that it can't be JUST harmful. And they only taught her to CONCEAL it, not CONTROL it. So, she grew up with fear that she'll harm everyone unless she stays away like how she built her own castle, far away from everyone to keep herself hidden.
the fact you guys didn't see Rapunzel with her short hair when Anna was opening the gate for the first time while singing rapz was walking by
also the theory of Tarzan being their brother was due to the fact that when the parents ship was ruined due to the waves its similar to when Anna and Elsa's parents ship sank and survived with only the baby(Tarzan *)
ice was a pretty hot commodity before refrigeration. It would be stored in a very well insulated room, an Ice house, usually underground. When warm weather came around it would be sold to people to keep the foods in their icebox cool.
Im pretty sure the trolls are just known to be magic of know of magic, and when their child had magic they tried to figure out why
5:47 The theory, if I remember correctly, goes that Anna and Elsa's parents were on their way to Rapunzel's wedding or something (going from Norway to Germany, basically) and that their sunken ship is the one that Ariel explores in The Little Mermaid (off the coast of Denmark)
While the theory does also say that they're also the parents of Tarzan, it simply doesn't fit in logically, like, a ship sinking on the way from Norway to Germany off the coast of Denmark makes sense, but a couple where the mom is neither pregnant nor has a baby with her, having a baby boy in her arms right as the ship sinks (engulfed in flames, btw) as they're also suddenly off the coast of Africa somehow? That just doesn't connect (and that's not even comparing the parents visually to tell that Tarzan's parents also looked different from Anna and Elsa's)
The theory's still great without Tarzan in the mix though, especially considering the Rapunzel and Eugene cameo on the bridge when Anna leaves the castle
The Little Mermaid doesn't fit, either. Yes, the original story was written by a Danish author, but that doesn't mean the movie takes place in Denmark. It is clearly set somewhere much warmer, probably somewhere along the Mediterranean.
The 2nd movie explains where the ship was really going though..
Just rewatched Frozen 2 and it’s one of the best newer Disney movies I’ve seen
"She could be a supervillain!"
Ohhh boy - she was until the directors heard "Let it Go"
The Tarzan theory is wrong cuz frozen 2 shows where the parents died
Fun Fact: When the gates first open and Anna is going out for the first time, you can actually see short haired Rapunzel and Eugene from Tangled. Its actually theorized that Anna and Elsa are cousins with Rapunzel, or at least have connections with them
16:52...There's an extra episode called FROZEN FEVER... it's based on Anna's birthday and Elsa arranging everything for the party and she catches cold
I don't know if it's still available in TH-cam but it's hilarious
Everyone working on the film changed the story from the original The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Anderson with Elsa and Anna being sisters and Elsa being the evil queen once they heard let It Go. So glad they did. The building of Elsa's ice castle sequence took 9 months to animate.
Before the times of freezers, you had to harvest ice and snow to keep things cool. Ice was a heavy export of nordic countries, norway in particular since they have close access to mountains from harbours. It is why your fridges has ice boxes, cause you put your ice in there to keep it for longer.
Bree: "Wonder if she ever gets cold?"
Elsa: "The cold never bothered me anyway."
Would love a Frozen 2 reaction!
Edit: 2 weeks later, I got my wish 💜
I was 10/11 when this came out and I was OBSESSED! I would watch it, finish, then immediately restart it. I forced my family to watch it a bunch. I knew every song. I would quote the whole movie while watching. Eventually I got sick of it tho lmao. But I loved this reaction and I really hope you guys do frozen 2 ❤
In Finnish the baron weaseltown was "The baron who has no toilets" 😂😂 Vessaton Herttua
I remember watching this with my family and we all laughed so hard.
Seem trees coated in ice like that before, it was like every tree becomes a giant but quiet wind chime.
26:36 the fact that they showed her trauma 😢😮 I can't even imagine 😔😭 and everyone's so hard on her like she meant to do it so sad i feel for her tbh
I believe the word your looking for is narcissism - believing everything is about you.

I love how they shake up the talking animal thing by having Kristoff speak for Sven.
The accuracy of Boom's "I didn't vote for her!" lmao!!! You guys need to watch The Holy Grail and The Life of Brian. 🤣😂
The Tarzan thing is the personal head canon of one of the directors and nothing more
Makes me so happy to see you guys loving the movie!
😂😂😂 that was a truly spot on impression, Sean😂😂😂
My favorite part on Let It Go is the instrumental solo while the castle is building
25:06 😂😅😊😊 the shade when he said puddle so true tho poor Olaf
17:43 Shockingly, the original plot for the movie was her being a villain.
anna and hans couldn't date for more because the gates would have been shut. when anna sings about meeting the "one" she says, "I know it all ends tomorrow, so it has to be today" wich i think makes a lot of sense with how she acts with him
No one noticed Rapunzel and Flynn entering the castle?!
14:58 bro with that with (lets jesus do this) bro this make me laugh in full time i heard it
this was actually one of the first movies disney recorded where the cast was all in the same room at the same time!!
Just realized in love is a open door he's singing about using her to mo e up in life instead of actual love. Listen to the word he chose.
I choose to believe the trolls cursed Hans, he saved Elsa and that went against his plans
17:44-17:46 Fun Fact: She was suppose to be the villain 😂😂
I remember the meme post about this movie that "Hans came straight outta Game of Thrones, ready to kill Elsa. The southern isles send their regards"
You should watch Brave and Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Lion King: Simba's Pride as well.
Frozen has a 2nd movie too.
I can't look at Elsa without thinking about the Elsa and spider-man stuff on TH-cam
The way i just started boiling a packet of frozen themed noodle soup a couple minutes before this dropped
Normally i would just keep that to myself but i do like funny coincidences so here we are
38:09 i dont know if reindeer can swim, but meese are excellent swimmers, and i find that terrifying
The plants were flash frozen, not killed.
i truly think that Frozen is a great movie, the music, the message. i do understand though if people say that they're tired of seeing/hearing of it, because it was greatly overhyped, especially among children. can't wait for you to watch the 2nd one!
"It's so sad cause she doesn't know"
"I know" wow impressive wordplay
*Eats carrot*
This movie definitely has an issue or two what with them trying to shoehorn in our man Hans as the twist villain and what not, which is arguably what started the disappointing trend, but I still love it a lot.
"Let It Go" is, despite being played to death, is definitely a song that you can't help but have a fondness for. It's genuinely like... THE power balad for the antisocial.😂
Where this haters came from? "It's not bad, but not good" kind of shit, let the guys watch broh
17:03 their faces watching Elsa build her castle is hilarious
Imagine telling your 8 year old daughter she's not allowed to talk to her sister or have emotions
I still feel like Hans should have just kissed Anna and then blamed her for liking someone else when it didn't work. That way he's not the bad guy in the views of everyone
My new DREAM in life is to see you react to the Princess and the Frog, my favorite Disney film
You guys should totally watch the short Frozen Fever and holiday special Olaf's Frozen Adventure :)
24:54 In Olaf's imagination sequences, he has joints in his sticks/bendable elbows, but in actuality, he cannot bend them.
I dont ever really comment for good or bad but this is one of the funniest videos you guys have made omg i couldnt stop laughing love u guys (in a non-parasocial way ofc)
I never noticed that kristoff started counting, too! And I have an 8 year old daughter.... 😮
17:45 Well Frozen is loosely based on the story "The Snow Queen" and in that story the Snow Queen is the main antagonist so yeah...
"His face is very punchable"
Anna at the end of the movie: 😂
The king said she was born with the magic, and it's likely not a secret from her family that she used it. I've always seen the part where Anna unfreezes as her act of true love, sacrificing herself to save Elsa, but I've also seen people think it was Elsa hugging her frozen body.
Big O would be a fun series to watch if you can find the episodes.
There are theories on Elsa's parents that they may be the parents of Tarzan.
