BESIDES DOUG i think everyones hair in movie 3 got a lot better 1. evie's looks very sleek and professional 2. THANK GOD for the blue tones in mals hair it makes it so much better looking, I think the black roots also really compliment it 3. camerons and boo boo's hair is majestic per usual 4. I really like the copper tone they picked for celias hair 5. hades is hades so he gets an automatic pass 6. as much as I hate to say it, audreys hair looks really good with the mutli-coloration, both the cotton candy one but especially the "evil audrey" weave (I know the weave is super obvious but its pretty) 7. again, hate to say it, but chad looks better with long hair 8. uma's hair looks great I kinda liked it better in 2 but its still consistent (I think they hired a black haired stylist for this movie which is awesome)
With 7 I absolutely agree, he looks WAY better with the long hair. Though it being short in the first movie makes sense to me for some reason. Like, Chad having longer hair doesn't suit his characterisation in the first movie. Idk how to really explain it but I hope you kinda get what I mean.
I have to disagree, it think lots of the hair was better but I hated how professional and instagrammy the main girls hairs became. In the second and third movie, Evie and mal look like they just came out of an LA hairdressers, they literally gave mal Ohio curls. In the first movie I genuinely preferred all of the women's hair. It just felt more real and less wig like (though I adore uma's hair in the second movie)
Disney: Don’t judge a book by its cover, it’s what’s inside that counts Dylan: “You will not convince me that this SMOKE-SHOW is gonna end up with dork dork number one”
Dylan: “I wanna see the cgi beast, it’s gonna be so beautiful” Me who as already seen the movie and knew what the beast really is like: UFFFFFF I’m so sorry for Dylan
Honestly my only real criticism of this movie is that it could have been so much darker, and it would have been a great movie. They wouldn't even have to change much! I've seen videos of the same songs applied to a darker situation and it was 100x better. It was how I found this movie to begin with actually, I was like 'oh this song is really cool, what's it from?' Then just 'oh..'
'Is that how women felt?' Yeah, pretty much. Being the token characters to represent your whole gender without being given any arc except a romance sucks.
disney+ has that anti-screenshot tech that doesn't allow recordings or screenshots of their content. I wouldn't be surprised if dylan didn't want to deal with that so he just watched them on youtube
Ramsha Imam but it’s all from his computer so i’m sure he could get a third party screen recorder bc even netflix doesn’t let you screenshot on mobile but he’s done many videos of films on netflix. even youtube movies doesn’t let you screenshot paid films on mobile so he must be ok.
Descendants are one of those movies where I know they're bad and cringe a lot but I still enjoy them immensely. Also the songs are bangers and no one can convince me otherwise.
I had to watch them because I loved the concept. But I didn’t watch them until all of them had come out and I’m so glad I did because I watched them all in one night. Did I have to lower my standards? Yes. Did I laugh at the cringe in certain parts of ALL of the movies? Absolutely. But do I also jam out to Ways to be Wicked? You damn right I do. And I constantly watch commentaries on them because it’s a way to watch them without having to actually watch the movies.
Honestly, the books (especially the first one) were pretty good. I remember the first one having a little more edge to it, and fun fact, Mal used to bully Evie.
@@realestsienna yes, long story short, for Evie's fourth birthday, she (and her mom), invited every kid except Mal (yeah bad thing to do considering Maleficent's story). So Maleficent didn't appreciate and banned Evie and her mom (so basically they were secluded in a castle for ten years). Then Maleficent send Mal and her crew (Carlos and Jay) to find her scepter, and she told her to bring Evie. The person who would touch Maleficent scepter would sleep for 100 years, so Mal wanted Evie to take the scepter. But during the trip, she took a liking on Evie and took the scepter herself. Because she was blood related to the owner, she slept like five minutes. But yeah, during the time Evie was secluded, Mal used to throw her color bomb. And when she was released by Maleficent, Mal was still angry and continue to bully her.
Audrey could have been the best villain of this Trilogy. Instead, they made her stand around waiting for the main characters to progress the plot. Sigh, if only I could be a Disney writer, what I could do.
Exactly. Audrey literally had Maleficent's staff and she could've easily destroyed the world or something. But noooo. All the writers made her do was stand in a corner and do evil laughs and groans until the last 10-15 minutes of the movie.
@@Vkpz Yes. That's the ONLY good song in Descendants 3. The rest were unnecessary. Do you by any chance watch Alex Meyers? He summarizes and reviews entire movies and for this movie, he said that there were more songs than story/plot( He also compared this with the previous 2 - like there was more plot than songs in part 1 and in part 2, it was more balanced). Also, it made no sense how or why Drizzy(was that Lady Tremaine's granddaughter's name?) was kidnapped by Audrey. Queen Of Mean and Evil Like Me from Descendants are my favourite songs.

The thing i hated the most about Descendants is that it became the Mal show. It was supposed to be about the Villain kids but they managed to give Mal center stage in not 1, not 2 but 3 movies! 3! Where it's all about her struggles. It's called Descendants not Malcendants

@@CallistaYip is a musical, the plot is generally absurd and teen drama clichee, so the important part to judge it is the music, coreography and costume design, and in that department i found the 3 to be definitely better than the 2.
nessy ness I actually liked 1 and 2’s soundtracks, but I think I preferred 3’s costumes. The sets were pretty nice in all of them I guess. I think the first was just the most well rounded for me.
This trilogy would probably be really good if it were aimed at an older audience. A few deaths, some blood, real battle scenes and songs without the Disney censoring on the lyrics. It would be great.

the plot of "the kids of evil characters" is sooooooo GOOD. But it was so bad that they just did it for a kids audience. This could be a series but with killings and adult PLOT
I'd have loved it as a series on with more adult plotlines! Even the YA books are darker than this - well, I've only read the first one but Carlos has to go through a pitch black closet full of Cruella's fur coats with bear traps all over the floor of said closet just to get to his own bedroom. There's other villain kids mentioned, they go through Maleficent's old castle, etc. I mean, I get they can't flesh out things in movies as much as in books but a series on a channel that lets them explore darker plots would've been great.
@@godgirl001 Theres a lot of fanfictions about the Isle with a darker premise, I can recommend a few if you want. Most are mature stories though. I'm currently writing one as well. 2. THANK GOD for the blue tones in mals hair it makes it so much better looking, I think the black roots also really compliment it
3. camerons and boo boo's hair is majestic per usual
4. I really like the copper tone they picked for celias hair
5. hades is hades so he gets an automatic pass
6. as much as I hate to say it, audreys hair looks really good with the mutli-coloration, both the cotton candy one but especially the "evil audrey" weave (I know the weave is super obvious but its pretty)
7. again, hate to say it, but chad looks better with long hair
8. uma's hair looks great I kinda liked it better in 2 but its still consistent (I think they hired a black haired stylist for this movie which is awesome)
Though I def agree that chad looks better with long hair
And then there's just Doug, WHY did they allow that 😭😭 he looks like he's 45 and balding
Doug looked like a ped O in the third movie and no one can convince me other wise

Honestly, the books (especially the first one) were pretty good. I remember the first one having a little more edge to it, and fun fact, Mal used to bully Evie.
SHE DID???
