  • Was Paul a messenger sent from Christ or one of the false prophets Jesus warned against? In this video, I discuss some contradictions between the words of Jesus and the writings of Paul to see if they compliment or contradict one another.
Please keep in mind that all everything I say here is my subjective opinion, and is intended to deconstruct fundamentalist/evangelical/conservative Christian ideologies from an ex christian perspective

Every time that I have been in a deep discussion with a Christian, I noted that when they liked what God said, they quote him. When they do not like what God said, they quote Jesus. When they do not like what Jesus said, they quote Paul. When I point this out, the discussion is often over.

    Some important things to note:
I mistakenly attributed "faith without works is dead" to paul, but that was actually James! A kind follower in the comments pointed this out. So I wanted to correct that.
Also! many scholars believe 1&2 Timothy were not written by Paul, though *many* churches do believe Paul authored them. I side with the scholarly consensus that it was written by someone else- however many churches would agree that whoever wrote it was writing within the tradition of Paul's teachings. Either way, I'm attempting to work within the hypothetical notion that the gospels are accurate portrayals of the words of Jesus and that the letters attributed to Paul by the church were, in fact, written by Paul. I felt I made my approach clear in the beginning but perhaps I could have better clarified as many in the comments seem confused about my approach.
In my next video on Paul, I'll step outside of the hypothetical approach and examine him through a historical lens. And I'll be sure to better clarify when I'm approaching these topics within the hypothetical framework of church teachings.

Paul and James agree that faith without works is no faith at all.
You just cannot be saved by your works since they are like filthy rags to God.
You no longer need to labour in vain, and feel undervalued, or overlooked.
Your faith in Christ will make you righteous.
His burden is light as He has gone before you and is victorious.
You can find rest for your soul in Jesus.

I tried to point out to a pastor how Paul was teaching opposite to Jesus and the response I got says it all…. This pastor didn’t address any of the points I made but got angry and said, quote, “How can you speak against him, he died for us”. I replied, “I’m speaking about Paul not Jesus”. He replied, “I know and you’re speaking against him”.
So that in itself says everything to me. Paul has taken the place of Jesus for this pastor and he’s not alone.

I have no problem with disregarding Paul and remaining a Christian. I basically consider Paul a false prophet that primes us to identify other false prophets and bad pastors. There are some heresies that not even Paul would support that many pastors or denominations do. A key example are those that deny the bodily resurrection.

1- Christ Physically Blinded Paul.. it wasn’t just a vision. Paul had physical Scales on his eyes blinding him.
2- Galatians 2:20 is talking about OUR SIN is completely forgiven through the crucitfition and only through JESUS did this happen… The Galatian Church had false teachers telling them Faith in Christ is not enough…
3- “Paul is teaching” “Paul is building Churches” .. Yes!
Mathew 23 8-10 he’s talking about the PHARISEES 😭 He’s telling them not to call the Jewish Leadership these names.
Jesus sent his Disciples City to City to teach and build his church.
4- Mathew 17:21-23 - Jesus is talking about Judgement day. When you stand infront of him and he will cast you away because Works WILL NOT ALONE get you into heaven.
5- ROMANS: 10:13 - Paul is saying you must believe in JESUS the Lord…
Yes you will be saved… But you can’t continue to love your sin or you will be cast into hell as you quoted in Mathew 17
You’re contradicting your own Theology without realizing it.
6- Romans 9 - Paul is taking about the Jews.. he is heartbroken they refuse to accept the messiah. He is saying “if yall keep messing around God he will let you live in your ways and his mercy will be gone”
This is throughout the entire Bible just like Jesus standing there with Abraham Genesis 19:24 .. Jesus called to the father in heaven to destroy the sinning city. Mercy was GONE
7- Mathew 5-7… Of course you’ll be shown mercy! Do you really think a ACTIVE SHOOTER killing people decides not to kill one person showing mercy then they are given Mercy by God? Cmon now
Everything she said is a Lie and made to confuse from what Paul and Jesus actually meant when they said it.

What has always bothered me is that Jesus gave the keys to Peter - the Rock. And yet, we have very few of Peter's words in the modern Bible, but a ton of Paul's 'teachings' who didn't even know Jesus. IMHO, Christianity should be called Paulism because most Christians do not even follow Jesus' teachings. I would love a deep-dive into Paul!

Even if you could call the bible evidence, it’s poor. If the bible is egregiously faulty then the main character’s existence is likely fantasy. If the existence of Yahweh is a fiction then the god man Jesus cannot stand. Faith based on the contents of the bible is worthless for the following reasons…
There is real historical evidence of John the Baptist, but not of the greater Jesus. There is historical evidence of Apollonius of Tyana, who allegedly ascended to heaven, similar to Jesus, but there is no extra biblical evidence of Jesus during his lifetime. There is an historical record of Jesus Ben Pandera but, no Jesus the Galilean outside of the bible. Nothing. There’s Jesus ben Ananias, a rude peasant, who went around Jerusalem in 66CE prophesying its fall in 70CE; he’s recorded in documents outside the bible, but not the biblical Jesus. His alleged disciples never wrote anything they were uneducated peasants. Contemporaries never recorded his miracles nor his troublesome nature. The bible account says he was widely known and a divisive figure that the Romans never recorded. Neither did the Jews.
There were a number of people with the name Jesus, exhibiting Jesus behaviours, many have been recorded; but, not the Jesus of the bible. Was he a fiction? Indeed, you don’t require any actual person to have actually existed for a “reality” to grow from nothing. King Arthur and Robin Hood, along with William Tell, and others, come to mind. Was the biblical Jesus based on a composite of these other Jesus’s with reference to the Old Testament, plagiarised to elevate these people to one divine god.
There’s no evidence that all the first born were killed either in Egypt nor by Herod. I think the Egyptians would have recorded such a calamity and the calamities of the plagues, but nothing. Was it all made up?
The first line of the bible is clearly incorrect. The Earth was formed 9.8 billion years after the heavens. How did the creator get that wrong? And, the rest of the creation is wrong. It’s as if an ancient ignorant tribe wrote it all by themselves, no god to help.
There are no waters above the firmament, for a start. Heaven isn’t up there either, we’ve been there. The tribes of the Middle East wouldn’t have known oceans would be frozen but for the heat of the sun. Yet water filled the oceans and outer space, all with no sun. The light that made up the day was created before the sun. The ancients had no concept it was the sun that caused day and night. The moon isn’t a light. It’s fiction by an ignorant tribe with no access to a god creator.
Adam was made from dirt by magic and he, this god, forgot about Eve, an afterthought. so not an all knowing and wise god then?
Snakes and donkeys talk, nonsense fiction, right up there with Harry Potter, though JK Rowling was clearly a better writer with fewer continuity errors.
This god set up Eve by placing this magic apple within her reach. Then punished humanity thereafter. What a vicious god, if not a fictional one.
Nonsense fiction, by an ignorant ancient people writing about their mythology, their nation’s origins, steeped in the mists of the past, just the same as the Greek, Persian and Babylonian cultures write about their make believe gods who were equally fervently worshipped. Inanna, the dying and rising goddess was such an example. But many more dying and rising gods in the lexicon of ancient myths. Virgin births were pretty common too.
Adam and Eve’s children (as Eve was a clone of Adam) and grandchildren (as Cain, Able and Seth only had Eve to produce offspring or with their unknown sisters) could only have been produced by incest, then double incest, according to the biblical account. Clearly god didn’t know that the inbreeding of the biblical account would lead to genetic problems. None of it true, nothing a creator god would have penned. It was a fiction by a Jewish ancient people.
The Exodus apparently didn’t happen according to all evidence, acknowledged by the Jewish archaeologists who have tried to find it. The Egyptians never wrote of their army being swallowed by the sea. Mosses may never existed.
There is a massive amount of genocide in the bible by a god who failed to get the locals to behave. Genocide because the Israelites needed a land to make home. If a creator of the universe and humans could have just thought a new land, a new island, south of Cyprus, it would have appeared. Easy for a god, not so for an ancient tribe to pull off? Then, this god could have told these others how to behave and punished individuals, if that’s what was needed. But no, he went straight to mass murder. What?
And, the greatest god in the universe was defeated by iron chariots: Judges1:19. That is so ridiculous, such a puny god. Or, is it because the story was a creation of a tribe that had no concept of future technologies or tactics to defeat these new Iron Age chariots? I’m sure that a human Napoleon type tactician could have done better than the all wise, all powerful fictitious god of the universe.
Genesis 19 tells us of Lot being raped by this daughters. And yet this god is moral? He could have changed the course of their predicament, found him a younger wife or servant to sleep with, if a god. More incest.
The Jewish religion was at its heart, a blood sacrifice barbaric religion.
The books that were supposedly written by Mosses consist of a linguistic style that didn’t exist at the time of his “life”. It’s a fictitious narrative, written by the Jews to give their new nation an historical legitimacy, and unify them, in the midst of other powerful cultures in the Middle East. Didn’t help much though, they were constantly being invaded and subjugated by more powerful “gods” of other warring nations.
Even Yahweh acknowledged there were other gods. Remember the Ten Commandments tablets that were conveniently broken and then without fuss, lost. An all powerful creator of the universe who missed the opportunity to create the tablets out of an advanced technology, such as, I don’t know, Titanium? Is that because the Jews didn’t know about such a thing and so had no understanding of the future? The forging of such a technology would have cemented the truth of their god. Broken disappeared stone tablets: clearly, no god involved. Convenient.
Noah and his flood occurred when the Egyptians where going about their cultural and religious practices that continued afterwards; and, their religion was not replaced by the flood family’s immediate ancestors, fanning out from the ark. The Pharaohs and their gods continued unabated. No Yahweh? More incest?
The Chinese culture and writing developed along a continuum and they too were never taken the religion of Yahweh from the Middle East, by Noah’s relatives.
And, the ancient Britons and Australians failed to notice they were meant to be dead.
The New Testament, if it is read, critically, is inconsistent and evolves over time.
Indeed, the gospels were not written for decades after the death of this Jesus, whose birth and death are still questionable and no date can be asserted with clarity.
There was no census when Herod was alive, that story was made up after the event to allow the Nazarene to be born in the town of David. Nazareth was not a town in the first century and was only “discovered“ when Constantine’s mother, Helena, went looking for it. The gospel writers mistook the word Nazarene for a town. And there are many problems with the census and the way it is told. Because it was written as fact over one hundred years after the supposed birth of this Jesus. More fiction?
And, boulders weren’t placed in front of tombs until about 50 years after his death, was he a fiction based on one of many rabbis around at the time?
And, the crucified were left to rot on the cross/pole on which they were hung as a warning to insurrectionists? No empty tomb, it’s a fiction to turn a myth into a “fact”. To turn a dead man or a fictional man into god.
Pilate was, in real history, recorded history, a truly nasty contemptuous man, he would never have allowed the process of crucifixion as a warning to have been undermined. And, the alleged trial is a tale of the blood cult of scapegoating. Even Barabbus was a literary device representing scapegoating, suggesting it never occurred. Barabbus means, son of the teacher, or son of the father. The gospel writers where representing the two characters as essentially the same, one became the goat sacrifice. And, the twist was that the Jews shouted to let the murderer go, allowing the blame for Jesus’s death to be placed on the Jews and not the imperial Romans. It was very much a political narrative because the Jews and Romans where essentially at war, the destruction of the Temple in 70AD/CE, and this new sect/cult needed to distinguish themselves from the Jewish troublemakers, and the ongoing violence of the time.
Paul never knew Jesus and only depicted him as a spiritual vision. He knew nothing of the man and nothing of his life or his teachings. More evidence that the Chrestos (anointed) was mythical?
The first time the gospels were mentioned was in 180AD/CE by Irenaeus. Indeed, a very prominent Christian, Theophilus, said that he came to believe in Jesus from reading the Jewish Scriptures or, Torah. No mention of the gospels, no quoting of anything Jesus allegedly said. Best date for the gospels is circa, 170-182AD/CE. The myth of the god man Jesus was created over many years. But, Mark was first written, not until at least 70AD/CE, say Christian scholars but, as above, likely much later.
No record of the star of Bethlehem, of the graves emptying, or the sky darkening. It’s fiction.
Theists may need to believe in this lie. Still, it’s a lie.
Theists have the bible read to them. Atheists read the bible themselves.

There is nothing off with Paul.
Most of these statements she's claiming about Paul are simply Paul quoting the prophets and scriptures.
The one for Lord lord he quoted Joel.
The one for where it's says God shows mercy to whom ever he chooses, he quoted the scripture where God was telling that to Moses.
We can clearly see Paul was only quoting and expanding a point.
So if you say Paul is contradicting, you mean to say that the old testament prophets were deceivers?well certainly not
So does that mean Jesus was contradicting the prophets and law?
      Definitely NOT!
      Read Matthew 5:17
So you ask, " how come it seems as though they are contradicting each other?"
The answer is : they are NOT contradicting each other, it's the context which was different.
      E.g :
All those who call Lord lord will be saved indeed if they have a sincere heart.
Jesus was showing that others may call onto his name but will not be saved because they were not sincere while Paul was specifically talking about those with a sincere heart.

I wonder if there are any conspiracy theories that Paul was a con man. Like, he was out persecuting Christians, and he found some that were enjoying financial and social benefits and decided he wanted a piece of the action, and he knew that an emotional conversion story would be compelling. It would explain why he seemed more interested in molding the church to the needs of patriarchy rather than the actual teachings of Jesus.

According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders: DSM-IV, women are 200% more likely to experience conversion psychosis. Paul doesn’t really fit the bill. Furthermore, researchers have estimated the number of patients with ongoing symptoms of conversion disorder to be 2 to 5 individuals per every 100,000 patients per year. Given the rarity of the condition, we would need strong evidence to demonstrate that this is really the case.
The speculation of the epileptic seizure. The problem with this theory is that complex visual hallucinations related to epilepsy are incredibly rare in adults. Adults who are affected by these things typically experience them as children first. The age of onset for epilepsy is generally either in childhood or from the age 60 onwards. Paul would’ve been outside of these age ranges.
Furthermore, adults and children who hallucinate during seizures are in the minority. It’s critical to differentiate between things like blindness, flashing lights, and foggy vision from things like hallucinating a talking person. Some medical literature calls both of those things hallucinations, but clearly the latter is much less common than the former. In other words, we’re talking about a rare symptom of a rare disorder presenting at an anomalous age. In addition, the specificity of the apostle Paul’s vision doesn’t match typical hallucinations which tend to be far more random. In the case of Paul, he saw the despised Jesus, in glory, rebuking and commissioning him.
Also, Paul’s temporary blindness was also unlikely to be related to epilepsy. This is because ictal blindness is most often observed in children and is very rare in adults unless they have symptomatic epilepsy, where the cause is known. That is not accounted for in the biblical story, and it would not last for three days.
Moreover, severe bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychotic breaks, and so forth seem incompatible with a well-educated, intelligent person in a leadership position traveling throughout the Greco-Roman world, planting churches.

You cannot out psychologize the Bible for God not to throw you into hell for all eternity. In other words, you cannot come up with a good enough excuse here and now, so you will not be able to on judgment day. If you say you did not want to be born, God is going to say you should’ve been born again, that means become a Christian so that’s not gonna work. And there are no other excuses try to think of one. So now you know for the first time in your life, that the Bible is smarter than you and it is a steel trap, smarter than all of mankind, What should you do then? So at least investigate and look to see that these things are true, because right now you just learned the Bible is smarter than you, and you will be accountable for your life on judgment day before God!
Prophecy, the Bible is 27% prophecy, that’s future history written in advance. God‘s really sticking his neck out to get it cut off if he’s wrong, but he hasn’t been wrong about the thousands of prophecies that were fulfilled, so he’ll be right about the end of the world prophecies as well and you’ll have no excuse on judgment day for not looking for truth!
Caveat: you cannot look for God in times of chaos says Isaiah 45:19, so you better do it now. In other words,You’ll be too worried about your own survival when chaos hits, than your eternal destiny!
Statistic probability of 40 writers writing the Bible with zero margin of deviation, proves God wrote the Bible through the 40 writers!
      God authored the Bible!

As someone who joined the J Witnesses for over 2 years during my teenage years, I have to say this: they seemed to quote Paul more than Jesus. That was one of the issues I had before leaving. I still agreed with them more than the others but decided that no church could contain me. I grew a beard (another point of contention with them) and learned how to read Hebrew and Greek. Today, in my 40s, I say that a congregation is a room full of people who haven't done enough research to ditch this primitive mythological nonsense

It seems you have become an atheist because of people. Nobody should decide the way how your relationship with God the Almighty should be. Being raised as Orthodox Christian, I joined the JW at the age of 21 but after years went by , I have come to realize that religion is not made by God. However, apart from the way it has been wrongly interpreted and changed through translation according to how it suits every christian denomination, the Bible remains to be God's word. So now I am very happy in the way I communicate with God and lead my life according to his will. I don't need anyone but God because there is nothing I fear as long as I believe in him. People are people and they are just like me. So no one has the right to dictate your life, even God himself doesn't interfere with the choices we make. That is why Salvation is freely given to us through God's grace by giving his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ as Ransom to cleans our sins.

You got it all wrong lady you need to go back and study the life of Jesus study everything everything about the apostle to the nation's Paul. When Paul was stopped while on his way to persecute the people of the way in Damascus he became a member of the way after that you were talking so fast that you missed out completely that a great friendship got started between Jesus and the apostle Paul there was no room for this unfortunate situation your trying to bring in. From when Paul started to learn about the Way, he had to learn about this New way that Jesus WAS a part of and Jesus will not allow this New friendship to go the way you're trying to make it look Jesus and Paul saw a beautiful friendship started in any case a good cooperation was needed for Paul to be an apostle to the nation
Also at Matt 23:9-10 Jesus a perfect righteous man is setting up principles that this early Christian congregation needs was warning these new or inexperienced disciples about things they should avoid like people referring to them as father because one father is in the heavens already God Jehovah neither be called leader because I Jesus am your leader only one leader is needed also the greatest among you must be your minister. Minister IN THIS sense means one taking the lead in helping other not Lording IT over others. I'm using the New World Translation of the Holy SCRIPTURE it explains words so that you get the true meaning of what God intended for us to read especially ther at Matt 23. One must remember the New Christian era is starting there are old troubles within the old religious order that Jesus the leader is trying to remove without creating disunity among the New congregation

Remember what Jesus said TO the Samaritan woman John 4:22 you worship what you do not know vs 23 we will worship with spirit and truth. This is New this will take place in 33ce New era so Jesus who is the leader hear is setting up principles that will the everyone must follow SO there was no pushing and pulling between Jesus and Paul everything was well organized and in order. Jesus is the son of God leader. God Jehovah is father. The disciples are the followers of the way soon the Christian congregation, those are the rules or principles to follow .If I may. Please acquire the New World Translation of the Holy Scripture. It's a very authentic bible translation. This was shown in the game show Jeperdy by the late Alex Trebec a few years ago.

Oh one more taught. All followers of Jesus will be preachers and teachers Matt 24:14. 28:19 20. WHAT Jesus said there at Matt 23:9-- was not telling them I will be the only teacher. Jesus WAS helping them to separate themselves from the PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE WAY who want to be called rabbi and leaders and father. You will not be like them. This is New, remember Paul will be eating meat that God have cleanse. ACTS 10:13-- Paul will be an apostle to the nation that's why he was stopped while on his way to persecute those of the way in Damascus, he became a member of the way and a very supportive disciples throughout his career as a apostle to the nation. Holy spirit was poured out on him also in 33ce. So there WAS NO animosity between Jesus and Paul. Jesus WAS in the heavens as leader of the new Christian congregation, Paul was on the earth as the apostle to the nation

Peter also performed miracles. Was he also a false prophet? No. Probably because he was part of the 12 apostles.
Why do you think Paul was a false prophet? Possibly because he wasn’t part of the 12.
Did Jesus appear to other people after his death? Answer is yes.
      [ John 20:19, 20:26-31, Matt 28:9-10, 28:16-20, Luke 24:13-32, 24:36-43, Acts 1:3-8, Luke 22:44-49 ]
Is it possible he appeared to Paul. Answer is yes [ Acts 9 esp v5, Gal 1:11-17* ]
About the deception Jesus said Many will come in my name claiming "I am the Messiah”
Did Paul claim he is the messiah? No. The DECEPTION was in people CLAIMING they are the “Messiah”.
Do not add any sentiments to this.
If Jesus will watch a LIAR/IMPOSTER write more books and teach Jesus to many than any of the 12, it is up to Him.
JESUS NEVER SAID PEOPLE WILL CLAIM TO SPEAK FOR ME min 3.00. If Jesus doesn’t want people to talk on HIS BEHALF, he shouldn’t have sent the disciples into all nations(Matt 28:18-20). He should do that HIMSELF. By that logic, dont teach anyone about Christ.
He said people will claim I AM THE MESSIAH. Paul never claimed that. He always made sure to exalt the Christ.
If Paul cast out demons and performed miracles, didn’t Jesus give believers that power. If means Jesus must be the Master Deceiver. Paul’s mission was not about casting out devils, or making miracles, His mission was to preach Christ to the Gentiles even though he did those things Jesus told the disciples to do such as healing the sick and performing miracles.
According to your knowledge about the elect being only Jews. The Church is a called out group, also meaning elect. Jesus after his resurrection told them to teach all nations(Matt 28:18-20). What you are saying is so wrong.
The tangent you are leaning on is so slippery. It also gives credence to the fact that the new testament (apart from the life and deeds of Jesus in the 4 gospels) should be discredited.
You read Matthew 23:8-10 without context. Read from 1-10 and come again.
Jesus was against the Pharisees doing things to be seen of men and their love for Greetings in the streets as Teachers.
      In the book of 1Timothy, (read from chapter 2 v 1 - 6)
Paul writes a letter to Timothy, telling him of God’s purpose for his(Paul’s) ministry.
*** Do you see a man who is calling himself the “Messiah" or one who is acknowledging the Father and His Son from v1 - 6???
If Jesus didn’t want people to teach others after his resurrection, he wouldn’t have ordered them to make disciples of all Nations.(Matt 28:18-20)
TH-cam is easy to start, teaching truth is not, it requires revelation from God. The bible is an easy book to read. It is not plain to understand, especially the things about the Kingdom. It requires the Grace of God to understand. Many times after Jesus’ teaching, the disciples came to ask of the meaning of what he taught(Luke 8 esp 9-11, Mark 4 esp v10, Matt 13:3-12). Even Peter acknowledged that what Paul taught was hard to understand. 2 Peter 3:15-16.
Did the early Church deem Paul as a false teacher/prophet? No. If he was a false prophet then even those who followed Jesus have been deceived because they believed his experience, revelation and writings about the Christ. Gal1:18-24
When Paul talked of dying to himself, it didn’t mean he was no longer called Paul or he was no longer a human. He meant his will has been superimposed by the Lord’s will for him. He therefore had no desire to follow through on his will because the will of God became paramount to him. He was one who counted all things as dung for the excellency of the knowledge of God.
I could not even get past minute 8.35 of your video
May God help us to understand Him more each day.

The Bible is true after all and unfortunately, you’re gonna go to hell for not being a true seeker! “We all can’t be wrong “ Yes, according to the Prophetic timeline, you’re all wrong.!!!
DNA does not auto encrypt, the code writer is outside of the code of the 3300000,000,000 lines of computer code in the human genome of our DNA! So who wrote the code to such sophistication?
1,000,000 seconds is 12 days, 1,000,000,000 seconds is 32 years! That’s the difference between 1 million and 1 billion!
One person’s DNA could fill the Grand Canyon up to 50 times full of books. John 21:25 “I suppose everything Jesus did, the world wouldn’t have enough room for the books telling of it.“ this verse would be fulfilled!
Psalm 139:16 “in my members you have written many books“!
Psalm 139 is about the human body!

I didn't want to answer, but I think keeping quiet could be more harmful, so I have to answer.
To begin, you're just butchering the Bible as you don't take time to learn, but let's look at your points.
I need to say this before:
*Having studied Paul's teachings scrupulously, I've found out that if there's a difficult teaching to follow, it's that of Paul. Paul gave a teaching in which there's no ground for sins anymore, because He said that believing in Christ is to become a new creature that must not be subject to sin in anyway (Galatians 2: 17, 5: 16-25; Romans 6: 1-6, 1Timothy 1: 8-11, 2 Corinthians 4: 1-5 ; ..., 1 Corinthians 15: 33; 6: 10-20; 13: 1-13; Romans 1: 26-31; ....). Paul didn't say works are void, He just taught that none of us (with our deeds) has deserved the Salvation which we are given through JESUS, but all have reached that salvation while all were to be condemned, so it's by mere Grace. And there are no works (or good deeds) you're asked for to come to that salvation in JESUS. And for Paul, if you have ever received that salvation then there's no ground for sin left in you, you must live a sinless life since you've put on the new man Jesus and you are no more like Adam, who chose to do his own will against GOD. You're now in the image of Christ who only did the Will of GOD. So by baptism, you're united to Christ so as to live like HIM crucifying the old nature to the cross of Christ. In Romans 7-8, you see Paul telling believers to henceforth become slaves of the Justice in GOD. Since you don't have time to learn before talking, you mix everything and claim things which make no sense.
Paul in 1 Corinthians 1: 18- 23, he spoke of people like you. And Hosea 4: 6 said that you're destroyed for the lack of knowledge, and that you have rejected knowledge and loved falsehood.* May GOD HELP YOU. AMEN.
1- JESUS didn't say what to who? Jews or Gentiles. Jesus didn't only say people should not be called teachers but also fathers. The point is that JESUS was simply warning his disciples against pride that makes people claim titles for personal interests. He said that but people kept calling their dads "fathers", their instructors "Master" or "Teacher". Similar to what He taught about right and left cheek.
Try hard. Paul didn't teach that people should be asking others to call them by some sorts of titles. That's not part of the salvation. And the context of JESUS' message is clearly different from that of PAUL in Timothy. Please, learn how to reason with logic.😅
2- Indeed JESUS said that just calling Him "Lord Lord" won't allow people into the Kingdom, and that's very clear because in the passage, He reminded them that doing the Will of the FATHER. And what's the WILL of the FATHER? That people should believe in JESUS to be saved. What's "TO BELIEVE IN JESUS?" It's to accept Him in whatever He instructs. Read 1John 3.
3- Calvinist got it right? Like you, Calvinists thought the NT was originally written in verses😅. Reading the teaching of Paul from the end of Romans 8 through 11, we clearly see what Paul taught. Paul taught that all haven fallen short of the glory of GOD, and also none (of those who understand this) is sinless. So, originally, all would end in destruction, but GOD in His Mercy, made a plan which He carried through those who originally deserve punishment to bring about salvation for all mankind by showing us mercy through Jesus, who died as the expiratory sacrifice for mankind. Israel was chosen in that vision of GOD, since GOD would not choose all people for the purpose.
4- JESUS didn't only say He didn't come to abolish the Laws and Prophets, He also said He came to fulfill them... If you ever read the New Testament, Jesus on the Cross shouted that *all (about him) is fulfilled.* Paul didn't contradict JESUS, he just confirmed him. Jesus came to announce salvation through His blood, and to establish a New covenant in His blood, which He did. Therefore, from that moment, the Laws of Moses are fulfilled and what's established now is that of JESUS which is for salvation. In Deuteronomy 18: 17-18, the laws say that JESUS should be heard in whatever He would teach. And before JESUS died, the laws of Moses were prevalent, but after JESUS death and resurrection, the Law of Jesus came. And JESUS just made it clear that people should love one another. JESUS said you should hate your family compared to Him Jesus (not in the sense of hatred but preference). Meaning you cannot say you love JESUS but your love for your family is more valuable to you than to JESUS. Therefore, you won't do what your family ask you if it's against JESUS.
5- Marriage. Let no one separate what GOD united. Thank you, but remember that JESUS also said some people get married while others no. He even said "some are eunuchs from birth, some have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom" when the disciples were worried about the impossibility to divorce.
Paul's wish about celibacy was not a rule, and he went on to say that it's better you get married if you can't hold yourself.
Whether you're deliberately accusing Paul or you're just ignorant and lazy.
6- JESUS said people should love and pray for their enemies. Paul said the same (several times, e.g. Romans 12: 17-21..). Love is not lawlessness, you're mixing the two. GOD punishes His children not because He hates them but loves them. Paul said that the curse of GOD would be on those who come with another gospel, you know why? Those who bring another gospel are not just enemies but destroyers, and they would lead into destruction. Not because you love your enemy that when he comes to kill innocent children you would keep quiet, that would mean you don't know what's love of the enemy. As you're bringing another gospel, I am pretty sure you're triggered by such a passage. JESUS himself in John 10 remarked that those Paul is talking about are wolves and thieves. And the point is that, whether Paul said it or not, those false teachers are accursed.
7- Women keeping silent or not? Yeah, definitely, women should keep silent, but which women? Those who consider themselves as authority over their husbands. If you read the passage (in Timothy) well, you would notice Paul was talking about married women. And before that He already mentioned those who preach.😂 Paul worked with women such as Priscilla and others. Paul said the same about women who used to talk in church.
Paul said in Galatians and other places that in Christ there's no difference between man and woman when it comes to salvation and rights in Christ.

3 "But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison."
      Acts 22:4
4 "I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison."
      2) Paul also lied about how he came to Jesus on the road to Damascus. Remember all my evidence is directly from the Bible...
      Acts 9:7
7 "And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man."
      Acts 22:9
9 "And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me."

@@thinkbeforeyoutype7106 What's funny is that you want Paul to narrate the story not as he experienced the event but as others did, amazing...
Maybe you're currently in the night seeing something in the sky, and I am in the afternoon seeing the same thing in the sky but from another angle and the appearance differs. And describing what we saw and how we saw it, there'll be differences in the reports, however our reports are about the same event....
Paul was the ONE who experienced the visitation, others just witnessed the superficial and apparent event.
When you're dreaming and you move your hands from left to right in the physical realm, those around you notice it, however, you would not know you did such in real world. You can even move until you fall from the bed before noticing it. You would surely say you moved but you don't know how you moved until you saw yourself on the ground, maybe it's rapidly or slowly.
The passages are not even contradicting each other, but we see someone reporting what happened to Paul in the first passage, and the latter one is the direct speech of Paul written down.
Stop being illogical because you're desperate to accuse someone. Not because you don't like someone that you need to lie about him to misrepresent him...

@@thinkbeforeyoutype7106 You show you know nothing about Christianity...Scripture says, Paul saw Jesus in his encounter with him on the road to Damascus, and the blindness inflicted on Paul's was thought Jesus appearance to him, which is accepted in Scripture as proof of Pauls encounter with him. This is backed up by an apostle that was unknown to Paul, who on the 3rd day of Paul's blindness was sent by Jesus to restore his sight [Acts 9:1-18].
So, clearly you don't know what you are talking about - in your desperate attempt to disprove Christianity you are blinded to statements that are evident in Scripture.
🚩So clearly Paul had proof (his temporary blindness) and a witnesses to his encounter with Jesus (the apostle Ananias who was told by Jesus to go to Paul and restore his sight). All the other apostles acknowledged this after Ananias told them Jesus appeared and struck Saul down with blindness on the road to Damascus, and that he (Ananias) had been ordered by Jesus to go to Saul's assistance. So we have Biblical documented statements of Paul's encounter with the real Jesus, supported by Jesus very own apostles.
⦁ Paul was healed from his blindness by a disciple called Ananias in Acts 9:17-18 “Ananias (…) entered the house; and (…) said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus (…) has sent me that YOU MAY RECEIVE YOUR SIGHT (…)” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; (…)”.
🚩While Paul was not one of the original apostles, Acts 9 clearly shows that Jesus himself picks Paul to evangelize for him when he sends Ananias to restore Paul's sight, but Kristi Burke assumes Jesus mistakenly picked a man that would contradict him...really (LOL):
⦁ [Acts 9:15-16]; 15. But the Lord said to him (Ananias), “Go, for THIS MAN IS A CHOSEN VESSEL TO ME, to bear My name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel; For I will show him what great things he must suffer for My name.”
🚩Here you people are 2000 years later contradicting people who knew Paul with your unsupported personal views based on your own false beliefs, making claims like you are someone that has the knowledge to refute Scripture. When all you are doing is projecting your contemptuous views which is probably based on your own issues you had with your faith or people you knew in the faith.
So clearly it is clueless people like you that have heard a bit of Christian teaching that assumes you understand the faith...when in fact you are far of the mark and ignorant to its teachings. Comment on things you understand since you know nothing about this faith.

That is true. The "synoptic" gospels were written many decades after Jesus' death. Also remember, only Luke had any kind of education, and spoke and wrote in Greek. John Mark, Matthew and John were poorly- or uneducated disaffected youth, not gray haired, bearded older men. Consequently, they did not write the synoptic gospels themselves, but had what we now call "ghost writers." And how much had changed over the years of the telling of the stories?

You are incorrect. Acts 10 shows there was Gospel copies distributed around during Peter's church. There never was multiple Gospels by multiple authors. The Gospel was originally one book, written by Lazarus in consultation with the Apostles [John 21:24] and published soon after Jesus left them on their own. The religion was hijacked by Rome, the Gospel was broken up scrambled adulterated into a bunch of competing narratives. Later four of those adulterated gospels were canonized with falsely ascribed authorship and a Gnosticism cover-story. It was the finding of an original Gospel of Jesus scroll in Jerusalem that gained the Knights Templar power over the Church and their eventual undoing when the church finally retaliated against them Friday 13th.

I could potentially see a reference to Romans 13, but that's about it.
If anything, Paul's ministry and teaching made things worse for Christians under the empire. Consider his repudiation of circumcision in Galatians. Had he supported the Judaizers or even remained neutral on circumcision, he would have given Christians a chance to associate more directly with Judaism and therefore receive some of the social and political protections afforded to Jewish believers. Instead, he drives a wedge between the gospel and the law, increasing political vulnerability and forcing the young church to accept a deeply multicultural form.

Whether by "the same people that put Jesus to death" you mean the Jewish religious leaders or the Roman governors, either way those are NOT the same, or even connected to, the people who settled the canon of Biblical scripture.
And you may have a hard time believing that they didn't make a lot of changes to the Gospels, but there's no evidence of that occurring. Thanks to archaeological finds such as the Dead Sea scrolls, the evidence is overwhelming that the texts of the Gospels we read today do not differ in any significant way from the earliest known copies of the manuscripts. There is vastly more documentary evidence to support the reliability of the New Testament documents than there is of any other ancient writings. (By "reliability" I'm not referring to whether or not the Gospels are TRUE - that's a separate issue. "Reliability" here simply refers to the fact that we can confidently rely on the knowledge that the texts were accurately preserved and not subjected to any significant post script editing.)

@@douglascutler1037 You've probably never heard this explanation, but check this out, cuz it's weird and kinda fun.
We might not talk about the Midianites much, but we do talk about the flood a lot, were EVERYBODY was killed, and only 8 people survived, not because they were good or bad necessarily, but because they had fully human DNA. Ever heard of the Nephilim? you know, the offspring of the Fallen Angels having sex with women? The Bible says there were Giants before and after the flood. That's because these races of giants were having sex with women, corrupting the pure human DNA of Adam and Eve. So God sent the flood to save Humanity's DNA thru Noah's family.
But the Fallen Angels and Nephilim where only males, and needed normal human women to reproduce, and their offspring were only males too. So, if you are tracking and do a bit of history research about the origins of the Midianites, the land they occupied, the children's sacrifices they practiced and the gods they worshipped, they fit the description of a tribe controlled and ruled by Giants, and perfectly explains why God killed the little Nephilim children and every woman that was old enough to have had sex with the giants and could've been pregnant. Notice how little girls were not killed cuz they could not have been pregnant of more giants, and females could not be nephilim. So there, that's the logical explanation from the Bible you probably won't believe, but now you know a possible reason.
Funny how the government is now saying they have in their possession alien ships, that ufos are real, archeologist are finding incredible megalithic structures and pyramids all over the world, all civilizations have a flood history and artwork representing giants and demigods, skeletons of giants have been found everywhere, from the USA to China and Peru, but nah, it's all a conspiracy and the Bible just is a fairy tale....

Because he new it would make it’s way to the Jewish Priests. And they would than ask him who gave him the power and he would have to say “Not Jahwe”. That it is the Jewish Priests who want to kill him first is all one really needs to know. It was not on which day he healed. It was about in who’s name he healed.

@@Rakscha-SunYou are 100% correct! Yeshua aka the fake English translation "Jesus" did NOT do anything in the fake YHWH (Yahweh) they now call "God" name. Let me unpack this a little bit. [major edits ~16 hours after initial post on 30 Dec 2023 @12:53 p.m. CDT on 1 Dec 2023 @4:44 a.m. CDT]
Yeshua means YHWH saves, and the correct English translation is Joshua, which is the same Hebrew name of Joshua son of Nun the Greeks had no issues translating many decades prior. The Greek, then the Latin, then the English translations of Yeshua's name in the Christian New Testament to "Jesus," have no actual meaning. The Greeks already translated the Hebrew Tanak we call Old Testament, so there is ZERO excuse for this purposeful butchery and then the fake insertion of doing anything in ANYONE's name other than to do something in STEADFAST LOVE, as a name is narcissistic garbage as no name is needed to do anything as seen clearly in Matthew 18:18 of each person's spoken word power on earth and on the things in heaven!
Yeshua's biological human parents were IGNORANT Yahweh subscribers and if they really did have a visit from an angel [and this angel was from the good 2/3 as opposed to the bad 1/3 spoken of in Revelation 12], then Matthew 1 clearly shows that their son's name should be Immanuel ["God" amongst us] NOT Yeshua [YHWH saves], which is OBVIOUSLY different. Nothing in the name Immanuel speaking about YHWH at all.
I have not read all the "prophets" and examined all their words under a microscope with my new found revelatory key, but I would say the people with YHWH as a part of their names [-ah such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, etc. were possibly more used by YHWH than people with -el in their names such as Daniel and Ezekiel]. But because everyone is now "God" and "Lord," no one can tell the difference. The Hebrew Elohim in Genesis 1:26-28 is different than the Elohim in Genesis 3:22-24. Even if you don't have Names of God (NOG) from Bible Gateway (that shows Elohim versus Yahweh Elohim), which I just checked it out starting 26 Nov 2023 and ran through Genesis 1-3 to see if they would accurately distinguish between YHWH (Satan)/"God" and Elohim (Father)[Parent]/One True Creator lumped in with "God," and thus far, they have rendered it accurately over those 3 chapters when things were less muddy.
Another fake insertion in Matthew 1 is the purposeful mistranslation of Isaiah 7:14 where as early as 3 BC, the Greeks were told by the Israelites aka Judahite ("Jews") that the Hebrew word almah (young woman) is what their text said, not the Hebrew word bethulah (virgin) that they translated to the Greek word parthénos (virgin). This is well over 70+ years before the gospels were written. They didn't even do a good fake job in Luke in the genealogy [but put something in parenthesis (supposedly the son of Joseph) to attempt to negate Joseph as the biological father in which they didn't even get the genealogy correct per Genesis 49:8-10 regardless of the curses YHWH attempted to put on the genetic bloodline of Judah (Jeremiah 22, etc.)].
My post isn't really about the wrong or purposeful mistranslation of Yeshua's name or the fake virgin birth [where Revelation 22:11-20, specifically v.16 rejected this and said he is the root and offspring of David aka genetically descended paternally through David as seen in Genesis 49:8-10, 1 Chronicles 17:11-15, etc.], but that the entity going by the name YHWH (EXODUS 3:13-14) is a liar and murderer. Yeshua [who had the One True Creator directly speaking out of his vocal cords] directly said that YHWH and Moses are THIEVES, ROBBERS, and Destroyers [John 10:7-14] and spoke against them and instead spoke about HIS Father [Parent] his entire ministry which is why they wanted to STONE him (Deuteronomy 17:1-7 and 19:15-20). This is why Pharisee Saul Paul of Tarsus traveled with two witnesses in persecution of the disciples/followers of the Way so he and them with others could stone these individuals for following another god other than YHWH as they did Stephen in Acts 8.
Numerous examples against YHWH being a liar and murderer (John 8:44 in context of John 8:31-47) from the beginning [if you want this then ask], but I will give you 2 examples:
*1. Direct Lie and Murder: Exodus 16:4* [in context of v.4-21] where YHWH claim he will give bread from heaven and test/tempt [Hebrew word for test and tempt as well as in the New Testament, the Greek word for test and tempt is the same word that the *modern day Pharisees work hard to hide due to James 1:13* ] the Israelites. *When the "Jews" spoke about their written Torah [which was OUTLAWED during the time of Yeshua] Exodus 16:4-21 about the bread from heaven that they got from Moses (YHWH- does people not find it odd, that even though Exodus 16:4 show YHWH is the one that is giving bread from "heaven" that the Israelites attribute it to Moses? And Yeshua's response was about Moses?). Yeshua told them, MOST ASSUREDLY, Moses did NOT give you the bread from heaven. Only my Father [Parent] in heaven gives the bread from heaven as seen in John 6:30-33. This simply means that YHWH does NOT LIVE in heaven.* Moses did not meet YHWH in heaven [Exodus 3]. Adam and Eve did not have conversations with YHWH in heaven. *YHWH through his hired robber, Moses, robbed, murdered, and destroyed at least 2 million Egyptians, many animals, and trees between Exodus 3-14.* In Exodus 14, YHWH personally [no angels or prophet used] took off the 1,200 chariot wheels off the 600 chariots to kill 600 horses [Egyptians men were collateral] which he hates [Psalms 147:10] because horses are fearless [Job 39:19-25 specifically v.22] and would essence not fear him [you could tell YHWH was bragging about himself being the Leviathan in Job 41. Which think about the root name of Levi, Leviticus [including ch 24:15-16 to stone people invoking anyone using the name I Am/Yahweh as Yeshua did in John 8:58], Leviathan and the only person (Moses) that got Yahweh’s alleged “real” name in Exodus 3:13-14 of “Yahweh” aka I Am, just happened to be from the Tribe of Levi? Why did Abraham not get this name (Genesis 17:1 [El Shaddai (“God” Almighty)])? Why did Jacob who allegedly wrestled with “God” [Genesis 22:24-32] as implied by the passage got no name?
*2. Indirect LIE and MURDER: 2 Kings 1 where Elijah used YHWH's fire to slaughter 102 men* [which anything with destruction alleged to be coming from "heaven" is FALSE]. When *James and John wanted to imitate Elijah by bringing down destructive fire on the Samaritans, Yeshua rebuked them for not KNOWING what Spirit they were of.* Yeshua [which has the Father {Parent} Spirit of Truth as expanded on in John 14] said that he did NOT come to DESTROY but to SAVE as told in Luke 9:51-56.
The way to tell a false God/Savior and their false prophets is in Matthew 7:15-20:
      1. Good TREE = Good FRUITS = LIFE
      2. Bad Tree = Bad FRUITS = DEATH
Genesis 1:31, everything was very good and thus no tree could cause death as one of the many lies told by YHWH in Genesis 2:16-17. This one lie is exposed Genesis 1:29-31, Genesis 3:1-7, 22-24 and YHWH's lies typically comes before his murder and destruction (Genesis 7, in which this flood is shown in Revelation 12 of the water out of his Dragon's mouth).
In case you have not figured it out, *YHWH is the Dragon of Revelation 12, and he, YHWH aka "God," went into great details describing his physical attributes in Job 41 (Leviathan).* Consider what Leviticus and Leviathan has in common? The root word from the Tribe Levi. Moses happens to be from the Tribe of Levi. We see [Simeon] and Levi cursed them due to their cruel and wrathful murderous ways which Jacob did not want them in a position counseling the Tribes of Israel and that they should be scattered amongst their brothers [Genesis 49:5-7]; yet Moses enlarged and put his Tribe Levi in the position of ultimate leadership to determine the fate of the Tribes [Deuteronomy 33:8-11]. Some scholars believe the priest text [concerning Aaron existence] was artificially added in. *When Yeshua speaks, he does not mention the Law of YHWH but spoke about the Laws of Moses, ask yourself, why is this?* Moses the Egyptian raised prince that decided to take revenge against his Egyptian family because he murdered one of his subjects and fled from his Egyptian family to go live a peasant life. *YHWH through Moses's Torah/Laws (5 books, especially Leviticus) groomed the Israelites in how to offer themselves and others [slaughter] as "clean" so they might be consumed by him. It sick twisted and diabolical.*
YHWH is also the Bright Light and Voice claiming to be Yeshua that Pharisee Saul Paul of Tarsus who preferred to be called "Apostle" Paul met on the wilderness road leading to Damascus [Acts 9, 22, and 26] and is in fact the First Beast of Revelation 13 [which is why the physical description is the same as the Dragon]. Paul is the Second Beast/False Prophet and the First Beast was dealt a mighty blow by Peter, James, John and the other apostles, but Emperor Constantine and his Phariseal lackeys resurrected Paul and his "gospel" of the First Beast as of Council Nicene 325 AD and Council Constantinople I 381 AD which they forced upon the inhabitants of the earth and still is forcing. I have not read their materials to know much about the Muslims, but I am fairly certain that their angel Gabriel is also YHWH [another First Beast] with their prophet Muhammad [Second Beast/False Prophet] that is also causing the inhabitants of the earth to ultimately worship Satan/YHWH/Dragon. The False messiah and false prophets are all iterations of YHWH, which isn't his true name, He HIJACKED/STOLE IT!
This was supposed to be short, but I cannot shut up about these evil asswipes that did some nasty evil shat against all of us! The blood sacrifice saves is also bullshat. I got lots. Ask, seek, knock (Matthew 7).

If you look at a Christian Bible that has maps of the New Testament, invariably, you will see the many places Paul has traveled far and wide pushing his Phariseal Indoctrination [all Matthew 23 but specifically v.15 (NKJV) “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.] with a little added on that Yeshua aka "Jesus" is the fulfillment lying murderous YHWH (Yahweh). Saying someone from let say North Korea citizenship having as much free range to travel as someone with an American citizenship to spread whatever they have to spread is exceptionally ingenuos and false on your part; and the only person you can fool with your falsehood from your father (John 8:44) are your fellow brothers and sisters that are ignorant and slated for consumption by YHWH the Dragon (Revelation 12)/Leviathan (Job 41) as cursed by your fellow siblings aka "prophets" that do YHYWH bidding using their spoken word power (Matthew 18:18) as YHWH does not have our power [he is a pathetic has been that uses trickery and the influence of Babylon (Spirit of Falsehood/Darkness/Death) of Revelation 17-18, his mother, who whispers in a sinister way into our ears to influence the darkness aka "deep sleep" they placed on us and spiritually broke us into two which made us naked in Genesis 2:21-25 to have us destroy ourselves. Here is a snippet of one of the children of YHWH (John 8:44) Isaiah who was glad to volunteer his filthy lips to oppress and slaughter us:
      Isaiah 6:8-13 (NKJV)
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
      *“Whom shall I send,*
*And who will go for Us?”*
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
9 And He said, “Go, and tell this people:
      ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand;
*Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’*
      10
*“Make the heart of this people dull,*
      And their ears heavy,
      And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
      And hear with their ears,
      *And understand with their heart,*
      *_And return and be healed.”_*
11 Then I said, “Lord, how long?”
      And He answered:
*“Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant,*
The houses are without a man,
      The land is utterly desolate,
      12
The Lord has removed men far away,
And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
      13
*But yet a tenth will be in it,*
*And will return and be for consuming,*
As a terebinth tree or as an oak,
Whose stump remains when it is cut down.
*So the holy seed shall be its stump.”*
Marcion barely count as a comma in comparison to the healing powers of Emperor Constantine's Council's Nicene 325 A.D. under the threat of death or banishment on the "divinity" decision on Yeshua and the "Jews" celebration of Moses slaughter on his adopted Egyptian family (Passover) to the First Beast of Revelation 13. *You practice your mother Babylon's Falsehood, but you have been given warnings in Revelation 18 to get out of her if you are a misguided lost folk member.* Revelation 22:11-20 warn that there is NO LIE amongst those entering the Kingdom of Life.
Throw a few names out there, Marcion, Clementine, Jeremiah, I am not impressed as you brought absolutely nothing of validity or substance close to any truth. Let's put your misquoted filth (Jeremiah 8:8) into perspective and expand slightly on what the text actually said:
      Jeremiah 8: 8-13, 17 (NKJV)
      8
“How can you say, ‘We are wise,
And the law of the Lord is with us’?
Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.
      9
      The wise men are ashamed,
      They are dismayed and taken.
      Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord;
So what wisdom do they have?
      10
Therefore I will give their wives to others,
      And their fields to those who will inherit them;
Because from the least even to the greatest
      Everyone is given to covetousness;
*From the prophet even to the priest*
      *Everyone deals falsely.*
      11
*For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly,*
      Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’
      When there is no peace.
      12
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination?
No! They were not at all ashamed,
Nor did they know how to blush.
      Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
In the time of their punishment
They shall be cast down,” says the Lord.
      13
*“I will surely consume them,” says the Lord.*
“No grapes shall be on the vine,
Nor figs on the fig tree,
      And the leaf shall fade;
And the things I have given them shall pass away from them.” ’ ”
      17
*“For behold, I will send serpents among you,*
      *Vipers which cannot be charmed,*
*And they shall bite you,” says the Lord.*
In terms of Jeremiah 8:12 above, other than the context itself above which I will briefly touch on, *here is just one of the many garbage that is considered an abomination by the pathetic loser* that goes by the name of Yahweh:
      Leviticus 19:5-8 (NKJV)
5 ‘And if you offer a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, you shall offer it of your own free will. 6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day. And if any remains until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire. *7 And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination.* It shall not be accepted. 8 Therefore everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the hallowed offering of the Lord; and *that person shall be cut off from his people.*
Let me put in layman terms for dull heart folks, left over food eaten on the third day mean you are cut off from your people. These left over food eaters didn't even get the mercy of a quick stoning to death, they get thrown out to go starve to death outside the community and probably get torn apart by wild animals.
Now on with the remainder of the snippet from Jeremiah 8 copied above, YHWH wants no one to have knowledge or healing as seen in Isaiah 6 above and in Jeremiah 8:10-11 the fact that the prophets provided some healing and prophesied peace, YHWH hates this and as seen in v.13 restates that these people will be for consuming as them doing stuff such as slight healing of I am sure YHWH's many curses through his other prophets is really really bad per YHWH and thus it is an abomination worth being consumed over. In case you folks are unaware the definition of the word consume- this means to eat.
I added Jeremiah 8:17 because John the Baptist in Matthew 3:7-10 especially v.7 and Yeshua in Matthew 12:33-37 especially v.34 call the Pharisees in which "Apostle Paul" is indeed Pharisee Saul Paul of Tarsus, a Benjaminite (a ravening wolf Genesis 49:27). Both John the Baptiste and Yeshua called the Pharisee broods (children) of vipers and both mentioned trees and their fruits; clearly indicating these Pharisees are BAD FRUITS from the BAD TREE (Yahweh their parent and his unending pathetic laws of what he considers are abomination). These vipers cannot be charmed to switch over to the side of doing what is right, so obviously my pearls of good is ineffective to the likes of you (John 8:44). Enjoy biting your fellow siblings as you and your father's words have nothing in me and my family (John 14:30).
As for me and myself, I will disregard and REJECT YHWH's pathetic words as my wisdom is from the Spirit of Truth (John 14:26).
      Jeremiah 8:9
      The wise men are ashamed,
      They are dismayed and taken.
      Behold, *they have rejected the word of the Lord* ;
*So what wisdom do they have?*
      John 14:26
*26 But the Helper, the [Spirit of Truth], whom the Father [Parent] will send in **-My name-** [in Steadfast Love], [the Spirit of Truth] will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.*

If you read Chapter 21 of the Book of Acts, James confronts Paul about the deviant message he has been preaching while out in the field, and orders Paul to do a one week purification ritual to prove his loyalty to the Jewish teachings of Jesus and to the Law. So everything was not totally harmonious within the early church., and Paul and James were at loggerheads with one another.

Cmon now 😬😂

The problem with the bible, both the old and new Testaments, is that none of the supernatural events that are the foundation of the faith can be proven to be true. If one is willing to believe the fake supernatural events are real then rest is easy for them to believe without facts.
All the inaccurate things of the bible become easy to explain to yourself if you are willing to believe the obvious fake supernatural events are real.
The faith trains you to be gullible and to accept excuses. Christians are trained to be gullible from childhood. Religion is NOT about finding the truth but finding excuses to make the fake events seem true in their minds.

The context is about loving Jesus and the creator more than yourself and family. Jesus was preaching about differences in the families. He said families are going to be divided because of faith. Sons and fathers are not going to speak, mothers and daughters also not. There will come division, people who believe and put their faith jn the creator God, and those who aren't. Jesus was giving an example which he didmany times with methaphors. This is what I mean when things are being said in bad faith. I've read the entire chapter, in fact the book of Lucas, and the other books in the new testament with Gospels from Jesus you completely put it out of context. Its like a kid who did not respect his parents curfew and says "oh no I am 1 hours late my parents are going to kill me". Of course the kid knows he is not actually going to be killed by his parents. @@serversurfer6169 First of all, I read the original scripture in the original language. I am personally very critical about a lot of translations. But if you want to go there. Look up different translations and you will see that the word hate is not mentioned but that Jesus says love me more than your father, mother and yourself.
Secondly, I read multiple translation and as mention in the original language because that's the most reliable Bible. This is one subject I have among other Christians which is why I personally do not find newer versions legit because of small details like this being mistranslated or out of context. It's funny to say because I am actually challenging other Christians about it as well. Especially those who don't read the whole thing (something you also do). But OK, lets stick with the newer ones because I know that's where you are quoting from.
You keep talking about churches. I read these long before I joined any church.
I have an honest question, did you read the Bible in it's entire? Or lets just ask, did you read the whole chapter let alone the book of Luke? Because again this was a metaphor used by Jesus. He also used the metaphor of us being seeds and trees that either grow healthy or rotten. Of course we are not actual trees but it was a visualization which Jesus used many of those.
No context is everything. You did not reply to my question. Do you think when a child says metaphorically or adult ''shit he's going to kill me'' in the context given that they actually are going to be killed? Do you think when Jesus said I didn't came here to bring peace but with a sword to divide that he came with an actual sword to divide? You just love pick and just a few sentences and think you understand a chapter and message behind it. You purposely dodged the curfew question which is what I mean with trying to argue with bad faith. The Bible is complex and you have to read it well and with context. Just like the Quran I am not a Muslim, but after reading at least I understood the context of the things that were being said despite it not being my religion.

Thank you for your views and discussion, very interesting. I have a question to ask: where would Christianity of today be without Paul’s vision, resilience and determination?

😂 lovely question. Christians would be free of spiritual bondage, women would not have spent 1900 years as inferior, the confusion of The Gospel would not have succeeded, and people would have known and focused SOLELY on Jesus and not a mere man named Paul. You people spend more time defending a dead con man than The Actual Savior.

Also, no one needs Paul's or anyone else's opinions to be saved and to know The Savior.

Paul told people not to get married, not because he was against marriage but because he was expecting the end times any day. He thought his followers should focus on that and not be distracted by earthly things.

If you want to start understanding Paul, one good option is the books by PHd. James Tabor. They are a must-read!

17:17 It's worth noting that based on what can be pieced together of pre-Pauline texts, Mary Magdalene was the only disciple who Jesus would allow to speak on his behalf.

There is a distinction to be adressed here. Calling upon the NAME of the Lord and saying Lord, Lord, are two different things. Lord is a title, not a name per say. So calling on the actual name of the Lord is not the same as saying Lord, Lord... See what I mean? I don't see why so many people who tout this, don't see the distinction...

The thing about Paul's letters, he's answering questions, so we're really just listening into one side of a converstation. We don't have the original letters that were written to Paul.

The issue is, people don't really read Paul's letters as letters to specific people of a specific place and time. And so therefore there will be passages, even in majority, that will not apply to those outside of that group. Not to mention the multitude of times Paul specifically states he is writing his opinion.
