In 2009 i too was blinded and had a dramatic experience with Jesus Christ that changed my life. I wasn't blinded for 3 days but maybe 3 minutes. It was my 1st day of a prison sentence as I was a former opiate addict and completely wrecked my life and lost everything and everyone around me and needed God. I cried out and what was the worst day of my life Jesus made it the absolute best day of my life. He reshaped and remolded me into a new creature in Christ Jesus. That was 10yrs ago. I apologize to you beforehand. I am not a Christian. I will admit that what he achieved was indeed amazing. However, we don't even know if the The Acts which is often attributed to the letters of St Paul in his different epistles are even correlated. So to me yes it would have been amazing if the Christian claim that Paul wrote all the letters to the churches was accurate. That being said, I don't think that the achievements of this author even bodes well for your case as a Christian. Here's the full explanation of what I think he did:
I feel like the Pauline epistles have been tampered with since Paul was an educated Roman citizen who simply had a vision of the Christ. He later interpolated many of the pagan texts that were imported from Egypt , as well as other mercenary travel tales about Messiahs and based those stories on the recent problems facing Jewish insurgency. With the whole problem of the selling out of Jewish culture to Roman occupation a hero was made of one of the insurgents and tied to someone known by the name of Yeshuah. In fact, I think it was questionable weather that was even accurate because unlike claimed in the documentary, the writings of The Acts were only dated around 90-100AD, around the same time the gospels were written. It is probable that the gospels were just based on Pauline eschatology. There was evidence that the Gnostics/ Essenes, a now forgotten Christian sect actually didn't believe in a literal ressurection, but simply the idea of a cosmic diety, much like Isis, Horus or Mithras where the resurrection of the Egyptian Sun God was said to have died on the first day of the winter solstice. So to me, the entire gospel narrative was just an embellished version of a pagan myth that tried to make sense of events a century ago. Note that till this day, there are no corroborating references of any kind of eyewitness testimony, where even some of the testimony was added later on by other unknown writers. Many apologists try to date The Acts to an earlier date yet failed to do so. Most scholars also say that the authors are anonymous. The discrepencies between the synoptics Matthew Mark and Luke are enough to cause doubt about the events relating to the Nativity. The embelishment by Luke to introduce a census to help fulfill the prophecy that the Messiah was to be born in Bethlehem is a complete fabrication. All in all, I conclude that because these writings come so much later and constitute all if not most, a plausible hodge podge of different writings, myths and half-truths, it stands to reason that the gospels are simply faith based documents and Jesus was probably just an exaggerated hero of the lower strata of society under Roman occupation at that time...The video tries to ironically not over-glorify the founder of Christianity yet it isn't Jesus who is celebrated for the dissemination of the gospel to the Gentiles. It is Paul with the Oscar winning speech in the end. What the video fails to acknolwedge is Paul's active role in founding an entire new religion and spreading a myth some critical thinkers have managed to unravel, resulting in the conclusions therefrom.

I presume that you are an evangelical christian and you believe in the doctrine of the trinity and vicarious atonement but not doing good works then you also believe as long as a man who rapes and murders your daughter and then repents and later on sin the same sin or a man rapes and murders your sister and then repents and later on sin the same sin or a man rape and murders your mother and then repents and later on sin the same sin or rapes and murders your wife and then repents and later on sin the same sin and evangelical christian still believes in the doctrine of the trinity and also believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross for his sins that he will be forgiven and will go to heaven and despite continuing to rape and murder innocent people but will still go to heaven as he still believe in the doctrine of the trinity and also as long as he still believes that Jesus died on the cross because you believe that this man is your evangelical christian brethren who you will embrace him but you also believe that good works are just like dirty rags according to your apostle Paul as your apostle Paul also said that faith alone believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins they you are forgiven and will go to heaven is your only salvation.
According to christian evangelical theology, good works are the consequence of salvation and not its justification. They are the sign of a sincere and grateful faith. They include actions for the Great Commission, that is, Christian evangelism, service in the Church and charity. So Good works is a consequence but not a necessity for christian evangelical salvation. That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ~Romans 10:9-10 You cannot be saved by your good works, because no matter how hard you try, your “good” is not good enough for the perfectly holy and completely righteous God who alone grants salvation. Nor can you be saved by your moral perfection-no matter how moral or how perfect you are. As the Old Testament prophet Isaiah points out, your righteousness is about as good as a “snot rag”. (Isaiah 64:6 ). I have actually cleaned that up a bit, because the Hebrew phrase for filthy rags, ukabeged ehdim, literally means, “like as rags of menstruation.”
Sorry if that disgusts you, but it’s Scripture-so blame Isaiah. The point is, both our acts of righteousness, and the quality of righteousness that we hope they produce, are disgusting to God. So if you are disgusted by Isaiah’s language, think of how God, who inspired Isaiah to choose those coarse words, is repulsed by our efforts to get him to save us. So what hope, then, is there for our salvation? Well, frankly, no hope resides within us. None whatsoever. Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead, let alone try to be righteous before God.

      @nickcorley7441 ปีที่แล้ว +59

@@syedhasan5861 I disagree with the way you said that the man who keeps raping and murdering will be saved just because he believes. James 2: 19 “You believe there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder.” This shows that just because you recognize there is a God and that Jesus was real does not mean you understand. A man that continues in sin shows clear signs of someone that is not filled with the holy spirit. Philippians 2:13 “God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” This is clear in showing that once we have the spirit, we begin to change and become molded every day. So a man that continues to sin the same sins every day and does not begin to transform is a sign that he was never truly changed in the first place.

Cried so hard watching this, even though it wasn't meant to be a tear jerker.
Paul's upbringing and privilege would put him as prime candidate to be used by God in the eyes of the world, yet Paul fully understood that he was the most disqualified among all to not just be forgiven, but absolutely absurd to be called and chosen to the deep intimacy with Christ that led to his emptied life of loving sacrifice that Christ might be glorified.
How quickly many of us would have forgotten the mercy we were lavished with, only to gradually returning to assume that God can use our talents and positions, and not despite of it.
To suffer is a privileged invitation to know Christ more intimately, and knowing Christ is Paul's highest pursuit.
There are overwhelming accolades for Paul's work, yet underwhelming recognition of Paul's all consuming desire to pursue intimacy in Christ and with Christ.

@@stevekiach8178 How are you able to love God in the first place? You can only love after being loved. And would any form of expression of your love be sufficient or adequate?
If God is a slave driver, then back breaking works might satisfy him. And even then it may not.
But God is revealed as Father and not a task master. Obedience to God's commandments stems from a relational obligation from both sides. The nature of a perfect father cannot but love his family and gives instructions to protect them. Obeying those instructions do not qualify you to be his family. Those instructions are only for those who are his. Who does Jesus relate to as his family? Those that do his Father's will. If you are a son, you would want to do his will for his pleasure. You don't do his will to earn his pleasure, that is the mindset of a worker.
So the clear separation is, do you love obeying instructions, or do you love the one who gave the instructions?

The partial changes and alterations to the new testament texts from its original Greek during translation and during the council of Nicea in 325 dramatically changed Christianity forever for the worse. Was I sent to the whole world or to certain people, O Jesus?
Jesus: He answered and said: I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Matthew 15:24). Ok, why were you sent and what is your message to the Children of Israel for which you came? Jesus: And Joshua answered him, “The first of all the revelations is: Hear, O Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord. (Mark 12:26) Since you say that the Lord is your God, and you are not the Lord, as some say, who are you then?
Jesus: I am a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God (John 8:40).
And what do you say about those who claim that you are the Lord?
Jesus: 22 Many will say to me on that day: Lord, Lord! Did not in your name prophesy, and in your name we cast out demons, and in your name we did many miracles? 23 Then I will declare to them: I don't know you, wake up! Go to me, you who work iniquity! (Matthew 7:22, 23)
But you were saying to God, my father, does this not mean that you are the son of God?
Jesus: Joshua said to her: “Do not touch me, for I have not gone to my Father tomorrow. But go to my brothers and say to them, “I am most in love with my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.” (John 20:17)
There are those who say that you are a god with God, so what do you say?
Jesus raises his eyes to heaven, saying, and this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent. (John 17:3)
You are the one who decides because you are responsible for yourself, so search for the correct religion, for it is the way to your salvation. Read, and research it yourself, and be impartial in your search, and do not rely only on what is mentioned in the Bible, your books and your heritage. This is not considered a search for the truth. You may be mistaken in your choice. There is no shame in searching for the truth in more than one way. Here we have shown the way.

True. All of Pouls hard work really paid off in the end. God put Pouls letters in the bible so all the people on earth can drink of the holy spirit that Poul himself lived in and preached about. It's really unbelievable that we too can be strenghtend in spirit just like he was. When we believe in the word and practise it everyday in our trials, then we can get the exact same strength as he had when he lived on earth!
It's trumendous that we can live by the will of God no matter how we are shaped and build. God build us just as he saw was fitting, so we can bless around us with our gift of grace. We just need to believe in God and pray so we too can be strenghtened so we thereby also can get into Gods will, just like Jesus did!

And yet the words written of Paul's 'conversion' were plagerized from a play written hundreds of years before. Actually, most of Paul's writings are simply copies/plagerization of the ancient philosophers such as Homer, Socrates, Seneca, Aristotle, Plato etc. It's quite the game changer when you realise it was all copied from previous writings. Then when you discover Paul's 'writings' predate the gospels, you know there is a problem with the entire NT. This is based on scholars of the NT.

I know the fairhful ness of Paul to the Grace and calling in the commission of christ.
The great part is that he is the 1st Angel to the ephesian church age of revelation 2:1-7..
St Paul after conversion to christianity preached the same Gospel as the other disciples without even knowing them.
He baptised in Jesus Christ Name according to Acts 2:38.and not in father son and holy ghost name as these are not names but titles.
He never preached trinity as all the organised churches do by satan's inspiration. But elaborated and exolted the Glory of Christ Jesus read colossians 1:15 onwards.
It needed the 7th angel in our days of end time to explain the inspired writings of the 1st Angel of the gentile church read revelation 10:7.
As st.paul said "check yourself to see if you are standing in the faith.

@@Tessinentdecken Christian belief is that God is enthroned in heaven, and we are separate from heaven the angels and almost anything pure because of the sinful nature of mankind. In short heaven is exactly what it sounds like, the throne of the creator where all things good and everlasting reside. Things most humans only glimpse for a mere fraction of a second. And that's why it's such a huge faction in the christian understanding to do good, so that heaven might open up for not only you but to others as well. Most other religions worship idols or themselves (also idol worship) or false deities who only have small role or minute power. God has power over all even heaven, be since He is good that He resides in the place that is only good and right.

Shared with a friend teaching young people. Stephen teaches us about his faith in the Lord. God's grace in Paul's life is immeasurable after his part in persecuting Stephen. I love Jesus Christ and love to share Him until He calls us to Him. Thank you, Jacqueline

Please pray for our small church "Zion"
God called us to plant a church up north of Houston TX but evangelizing to our communities but has been difficult. We are a total 7 small families, all raised in church.. more than growing in numbers, we wish to grow closer to a relationship with Christ. May God the father continue to give us strength and guidance through His Holy Spirit.
