- How to knit a newborn hat for beginners! In this step by step tutorial, I talk you through it all to make this little newborn hat. Try out this pattern and tutorial, and let me know what you think!
This simple beanie uses about 20g of worsted weight yarn, and takes no time to make! It is a great project to practice knitting in the round as well, as the entire hat is knit up on circular needles.
You will need:
6mm needles on a 6 inch cable
25g of worsted wool
yarn needle
scissors
stitch markers

Great tip I heard from someone somewhere at someplace in time “you can only make the stitch as small as the hook/needle you don’t need to pull it for dear life” and magically it’s helped

Hi. Just came across your video and thought how wonderful this would be to make very easy to follow instructions. Some how no matter what I do or how I hold the yarn I can only make the purl stitch show up. Your hat has different stitch on the inside and mine looks like that on both sides. I'm desperately trying to get it to look like your one but it's not happing. Please help. I have four weeks to make as many as possible for my daughter. Bubble is due soon. Many thanks. Debbie.
What’s longest cable cab use for this pattern?, in Uk can’t find any short enough ?
