I usually don’t follow these metrics, hence why I do not remember properly. Yet I looked at how many views you were pulling, and how many subscribers you had just now, and I want to say: Congratulations!! You’ve given me a lot of fun memories watching your videos with friends, inspired me to dedicate funding to get a VR headset, and created a damn good channel while you’re at it. my favorite part of the VR movie was when habie147 said "we did some quest 2" before he passed on to the afterlife. it was the saddest moment in cinema, and the whole movie theatre started sobbing.
It's amazing how on youtube Habie is an editing wizard, outstanding at telling a story of the video, and fantastic comedic timing. Then on stream he reminds us that the smoothbrain thing isnt a joke.
Been playing this game for a while. gets a bit repetitive but still fun. and the devs are very responsive. Looking forward to owning a SteamyPig Gsupp cup!
i bought 3 orders of gamersupps to help with this goal, so I'm super glad there is now a chance!! I'm so proud of you Habert you're a big streamer/youtuber now
I stumbled across this game a day or two ago on my own and ive sunk alot of time into it already. In the four months since its come out the servers have filled out. Usually there are 2 full pages of servers to join. It does take a bit to get out of the spawn area and into the rest of the map but it really scratches the open world itch once you open it up. Would recommend. The community is also mostly friendly. I have yet to find someone blatantly toxic. There have been a couple distasteful children though.
I'm apparently subscribed but only watch a video maybe once a year. Every time I forget about the patreon thing. And every time you do it, I remember, and also distinctly remember it not being that chaotic last time. I cannot wait to forget about this channel until November of 2024
Habie you're a legend. I'm proud man. You've catered a very great community, you're a genuine person, you make some pretty chill vr exposure for all the cool little indie games. You're going places :)
Indeed. Loved into the raduis, just finished it. Has lots of replayability. Need new game. This game looks good, the forest and saints and sinners I'm looking into next.
i just want to say that every ending of your videos, where you talk to the random internet stranger is really nice. i will always give you the pleasure of my time again Habie, and i hope something good happens to you today
Glad you found this gem man it's good inspiration. I'm developing a game similar to DayZ for VR but with full-body IK and more a robust looting/crafting mechanics for better immersion. Taking inspiration from all the different VR survival and shooter games to see what players love most and improve where they're weak. Like with Contractors... we needed to be able to lean on those corners man! Pretty damn difficult to implement in code but it was sooooo worth it once I figured it out. Peaking corners during gun fights- gotta have it!
I want a VR survival game with real crafting so that i can build bases and raid bases of other players, just like with Ark survival Evolved and R.U.S.T. The base building aspect is what is missing in the survival nation game as well, which makes it boring. Tribes are exciting.
@ruudboek yep! targeting quest primarily and then will have a scaled up version for steam. I'll be starting a devlog here at some point, once there's something to actually look at
Let players customize/craft their bases/settlements , I’d definitely buy it cuz a lot of survival games don’t have them much reasons to replay or endgame content to keep players coming back. Good luck too you thou, you got this

Honestly the games not bad. A lot of it appears to be bare bones with fishing or cooking, not a lot of detail in the act of those, but I personally think they want to get the foundation of the game first and then start making things like: Actually crafting foods by putting the ingredients in a pot over a fire, or worrying about the fishing line breaking in a immersive way. Lotta potential here.
