3d tracked in after effects. Rendered in unreal engine 5.2 lumen technology . Graphic card : gtx 980 ti music : Santi & Tuğçe - Alegría feat JPattersson
The result was truly incredible, but I think if you had placed a 3D model of the same car on top of the original car, it would deliver the reflections of the CGI scene, the original car shows reflections of trees that are not present in the new scene.
at the end you can clearly see the reflections have changed to the surroundings. Its not same reflections from original clip. Also in his matte you can see those windows being not the part of the matte for this exact reason i would assume. But ye, the left (from us) window is showing old reflections, which still could be fixed same way with proper matte imo
honestly tho it does the trick. CGI is not about making everything technically perfect, but about selling the effect. and i was definately sold. if the clip would be longer/slower i would agree tho.
I disagree. Car is one of the hardest things to get right and just for a reflection you would be killing all the realism. EVERYTIME try to use the REAL THING. On top of all that you acting like you know your craft really upset me ahaha.
as a rule of thumb coming from a decade of experience in the industry... if its too short to notice (same with cg doubles or real life doubles) in general no need to spend the time and money to render it out. tbh this shot is cool use of UE to do this instead of nuke. The reflection imo is fine and can be replaced with a matte no need to render a car for that, what's not fine is the edges are not roto well there are visible matte lines and black levels don't match, plus lighting/depth is very off. But I doubt the guy even cares his just playing around with it you can clearly tell he didn't put countless hours into something that's not being paid... and that's a very good thing.
Wowwwww AMAZING, I had a doubt about the part at 1:10, there's snow around the car, did you create it as a direct effect in After Effects, or did you do it in Unreal Engine... what is it?
Great! Do u have an idea why unreal not showing Solids from After effects? Scene is : i tracked footage, made 4 Solids and Placed them as i wanted, i exported to a c4d. File and Imported this to ue5 via datasmith -... So this works it means, tracking data is showing, camera is showing, but there a no Solids 🤔🤔 I tried to convert the c4d file through c4d but it also dont showing the Solids do u have a idea why? Thanks for your answer 🤘
@@alifarahani1158 Thanks for the answer 👌, i Figuren out the error! It Was the Cache - just deleted the folders and restart the Project, Import again and voila😊🤘
So i have a problem again. My ue5. 3.2 And datasmith c4d importer, I cant Import the Animation or the camera? I tried to Save the exported file from After effects to cinema 4d again as cineware. But ue dont Import the camera... I tried to Reimport again. And again,. Once there was a 3d camera, so now the pilot camera is completly Black,? I dont know why. So if i Change from the Main camera, back to view Port everything is visible. ? So do u have any solutions?

Nice job. Tutorial plz
Great work! Impressive that the 980ti can still hold up. How much gfx memory?
That is some awesome stuff man. I wan to learn how to do this. Just a question...how are you going to fix the flickering on the windows?
he did this on a gtx 980 ti if u didnt see the desc

How you import tracking data in Unreal engine?
Great bro 🎉❤
Thanks

Awesome job! Could you plese tell which asset pack did you use for the montains? For the 3D tracking, did you use the Datasmith C4D Importer? Cheers
Yes I was using Datasmith.
Cool

That's amazing, there are any tutorials or keyword for shadow mapping in your videos ??? Thanks so much.

amazing workd dud, nice job done, but you forget a shadow at back car. its moving
Yes. You are right . I will be more precise about this in the next videos.
wizard!
Need a tutorial for this! This is soooo cool!
Maybe one day!
the result is amazing but you should replace the side glass because we can see the actual footage background, tree etc
Yes that's true
Amazing results!
How did you key yourself and car? Did you roto it?
Do you have any resources/videos that you referenced for the UE side of things?
The car keyed with mixing the roto brush and mask
Bravo
Thanks
missing some snow on the tires and vehicle... the dust makes it look out of place

how to make from unreal to after effect at the same time the render preview
It's not at the same time. You should finish the job in UE, export and then import the rendered sequence file to AE.
Wowwwww AMAZING, I had a doubt about the part at 1:10, there's snow around the car, did you create it as a direct effect in After Effects, or did you do it in Unreal Engine... what is it?
Thanks. Its not snow. That is just shadow mapping under the car inside of after effects.
In this shadow mapping how did you go from 2d video to 3d ?

When you import data from C4D into Unreal Engine, it will ask you what things you want to import. You must activate the material and mesh.

Shadow isn't brushing.
@@alifarahani1158 then how is that so accurate? how did u do
crazyyyy
Part of refining shadows and reflections missed.
Hey, got a really good question for you, are you still using the 980 ti? if yes, how's the performance? i have a 1060 and it's awful.
No I changed my pc to a new one.
Roto in After Effects before bringing the video clip to unreal?
I didn't bring video clip into UE. Just 3d tracking data imported to UE.
@@alifarahani11583D tracking with what software
Why was the original footage so washed out? what camera did you use??
The camera is @7s iii
Cool. But next time use ray tracing for reflections to avoid the artifacts of screen space reflections (as under car).
Unfortunately Gtx 980 ti doesn't support raytracing inside of Unreal engine.
Can you describe the process you are doing from 1:10?
Adjusting the shadow on the ground.
the back of the car disappears faster than the camera turns.
everything was so nice, but dropped the ball at rotoscopy big time - time constraints?
there's good plugins for years now.

With 3d solid layers that made in After Effects, I understand the dimensions of the scene inside of UE5.
very cool, but try to change car reflections because they reflects trees in a green forest and electric cables, but not winter mountains😅
Yes I agree . In the next videos I will spend time for the reflections.
Looks like Roblox Studio
