@@-------....___ The Guides and the Bridge over the River.
There was once a bridge over a river which linked one land to another. Everyone wanted to go from the first land to the second since the second land was a land of bliss.
The place was pitch dark. There were guides on one end of the bridge.
They used to say come to us, listen to us, we will guide you as to how to cross the bridge.
People used to come to them. Some trusted one of the guides, some the other guide, some yet another. Each used to say, there is great prosperity on the other side, but beware the bridge has holes in it. You will not be able to see them and if you fall in them you will be destroyed.
So each guide used to say look, there are 3 big holes. One is at 90 meters on the left side. The second is 120 meters on the right side and the third at 150 meters in the center. If you fall into any of them, you will lose everything, there is no survival in the river below.
Some people did not listen to them and went across and fell into the first or second or third hole and got destroyed.
Then there were people who used to listen to the guide and successfully avoid the 3 holes.
However to their surprise they used to fall into the 4th or 5th holes. These were holes the guides did not tell them about.
This is the problem I fear we have. The bridge is our life. The guides are the scholars. The holes are disbelief and shirk. The river is hell and across the river is jannah.
The guides know about the extra holes but they don't tell the people about them. Hence they fall into them without even knowing. You have to find the path yourself or fall into the holes and be destroyed.
If they can't tell you the truth, the guide and scholar should at the very least say please search on your own. It’s criminal not to do that.
The minimum level of belief is knowing evil to be evil in your heart. When the scholars don't call out evil as evil, their followers stop thinking evil is evil and they go below the lowest level of belief. The scholars who don't make good and evil clear are liable to lead their blind followers to a very dangerous position. Potentially shirk and disbelief. Making them lose everything.
As an example Allah alone is Al Hakim. He alone is the one who can legislate laws. If anyone legislates law contrary to Allah’s laws that person is a taghut. He has made himself partner with Allah in legislation. Anyone who accepts his legislation as valid has done shirk. Yet the scholars don’t tell us about this shirk. The minimum level of belief is to reject such laws and law givers by the heart. There is no belief below that.
They talk about biddat, they talk about grave worshippers. But they hide the shirk of worshiping rulers. They mislead the masses into shirk and disbelief.
How many other kinds of Shirk and Disbelief are there that we don't know about? Each of us needs to find those. We don't want to end up on the day of judgment finding out that we did not even meet the lowest level of faith required for salvation.

Imagine if Christians lived like that. England and America would be a mess with Christians and Muslims beating each other up. That's not the way to peace, if you want peace, you have to learn to accept the differences and love one another. That's what Jesus taught (see John chapter 4 and chapter 13).
Protesting against injustice is totally fine (Zechariah 7:10, James 1:27)
Speaking out against injustice is totally fine (Matthew 6)
Trying to get violent with people to make them scared of you and your sword is haram...but that doesn't mean you shouldn't own one (Matthew 5:14-16, Matthew 26:52-54, Luke 22:49-51)
No wonder we have so many violent muslims, they want to follow the sunnah of Muhammad, his sahaba, and all the sheikhs of Islam.
Y'all need to stop following them and start following the sunnah of Jesus (WAS).

@alirasheed5246 I see your dp is our last Caliph Abdul Hamid II _rahimahu-llāh_ . Modernist Yasir Qadhi does not believe the Caliphate is a practical political order but believes every nation state (which in itself is based on godless foundations) should exercise its own system (democracy, dictatorship, Shari'a, monarchy, etc.). He believes an American Muslim should be proud and patriotic toward America.

Liberal modernists and feminists will feign outrage, but their moral system is what creates this situation.
Liberal principles of individual choice, female empowerment, and destruction of patriarchy create a society of people who have no family to take care of them in their old age.
The liberal feminist solution to this problem is to create more welfare programs. What this means is that they want the elderly to live alone in what are essentially pods, their only human interaction being with "care" takers to check if they're still alive once a week.
Let me put it like this. The only human solution is for the elderly to be surrounded by loving family in their old age. The only way to get that is patriarchy, gender roles, and other limitations on individual freedom. But the liberal mind can not allow any of that. So the elderly will continue to suffer, and liberal feminists and modernists will continue to pretend like they care about humanity.

There are different modes of prevention of sins in different stages.
The first stage is to know the condition of the sinner,
The second stage is to inform him of the harm of sin,
The third stage is to prevent him from doing the sinful act
The fourth stage is to advise him, and give him admonition
The fifth stage is to rebuke him and use harsh words,
The sixth stages is to apply force,
The seventh stage is to give him threat of beating,
The eight stage is to actually beat him the ninth stage is to use weapons against him
    and
The tenth stage is to fight against him with followers and soldiers.

Imagine if the "celebrity imams" discuss these passages on their channels. They stay within the first 2 stages and don't even tell the masses about the other stages. Yes, we need a proper Islamic governing body like khilafah to implement the last stages but we can certainly implement more than the first 2 stages living as a minority in the West.
And if we examine the current secular Western "Sharia" they are very harsh from the first stage with their "transgressions." Anytime someone says something against the LGBTQ+ lifestyle people can be fired from their job right away without warning and they don't even have much chance of winning the case in the courts.

He was a respected man in his people. You need to respect a person who is respected. But that doesn't mean you would have to agree with him. It's like "hate the act, not the person doing the act". A Haqiqatjoe said "You have to try your best to correct them and to make them agree with you, not to offend them or fight them intentionally.
Firaun (Pharaoh) said to hazrat Musa(AS) that "i raised you in my home, and you also k*lled a man in my country Egypt" so Hazrat Musa (AS) taughted him back "it was you who had ensl*ved my people, which is why my mother had to leave me in the river. If you hadn't done so i wouldn't have had the need to be re raised at your home. As for the man i k*lled, it was a mistake" ( Hazrat Musa (As) punched a guy while defending another man but the punched guy d**d as Hazrat Musa was really powerful).
So some would say this was harsh. But hazrat musa(As) still tried to respect pharaoh as much as he could, but not so much that the pharaoh would start thinking that Musa (As) is a coward.
So try to be in between. Give respect, but never justify your fears in the name of 'respecting' others. State the haqq clearly without fear. In a soft way first, then getting harsher as suitable.

A muslim have to be careful where he is taking knowledge from, al ghazali was an ashari. For anyone who doesnt know the islamic history: Ahlu Sunnah and the ashaira were enemies since the bidaa of the ashaira were widespread. The ashari used to make takfir on Ahlu sunnah and the opposite is true. Over 400 scholar including ibn Qayyim made takfir of the ashaira. it is enough for a muslim who wants to know the truth to return to the salaf. There might be some contemporaries who view the asharia just ahlul bidah but the truth is to always to go back to the early generations. Because they were the scholars of our Ummah who taught us the Quran and Sunnah. May Allah guide me and all the muslims to the right path.
