I am currently studying in Bayan (MDIV in Islamic Chaplaincy) right now and have gone through 3 semesters. I've been thinking about leaving for a couple months now. I always had the sense that this place wasn't really Islamic and all they really cared about was making money. After this vid I'm definitely going to leave.

We need to reconnect ourselves with the Quran and Sunnah. We need to find knowledgeable, traditional, and reliable Shuyūkh (Scholars).
If we want our young generation to stay away from music, free-mixing, and other unislamic things, then we need to get properly educated about our Deen.
Ustādh Daniel studied under traditional and reliable Shuyūkh. This is one of the reasons why he's able to expose these deviants. He's able to expose them because he has authentic and sound Islamic Ilm (Knowledge).
In summary, seek Islamic knowledge, implement it, and teach it to others.

Anyone who's always smiling and always trying to accomodate everyone and trying their best to not offend anyone can never be true representative of Islam. I'm thankful Allah has guided me to watch videos from brother Daniel who's my favorite da'i. For your second argument I believe if Islam was the religion of ease then the life of the Prophet Muhammad SAW would have been easiest. We are here to earn rewards for the hardship we go through in this life. Even the smallest of the Neki like even brushing your teeth requires time, money and effort so how could one reach the highest level of Jannah with ease? Wouldn't it be unfair for the sahabis if we reach highest of level of Jannah without going through the problems and hardships they suffered? Moreover Allah has made Zulm on himself haram so he wouldn't place less meritorious people over more meritorious people and what is merit in this world except taqwa which is not at All EASY to attain.
Daniel's each statement is well-researched. I lived about 3 years in West. Seeing all the deviations especially within Muslim communities like conforming to the western standards, it always suffocated me. Eventually Allah made my way and residing place close to Makkah. Migration to the Muslim lands where evil is lesser is must.
This is what should be encouraged to Muslims, a Hijra to Muslim-majority lands before their children become queer activists.

The best advice I could ever receive from fellow Muslims is to learn Arabic. Let's be honest, the main reason why we are drawn to OS, YQ, Mufti Menk, and so on is that there's no language barrier and we're mostly fluent in English. Let's make the effort to learn the language of the Quran which can grant us access to qualified scholars and Islamic books. At the very least, learn from qualified scholars from back home who know Arabic and are on the path of the salaf (ways of Prophet ﷺ and his companions).

I heard many things from them which were contrary to my traditional Islamic understanding (and I was brought up in a religious family and society, so my Islamic knowledge was above average Muslim) and I didn't feel comfortable, on many occasions I doubted my own perspective, thinking that maybe I have mixed up my culture with Islam, but still I didn't feel comfortable accepting it when I remembered all those religious discussions that I had with my teachers and elders. You have made an anchor for many such Muslims by exposing them, so they realize who the real deviants and ignorants are.

I have not been religious for around 8 years now, was an Orthodox Christian before and it is impossible for me to ever be religious again but I envy the Muslim community - you folks support each other like brothers. Islam unifies you as long is you are of the same Islamic branch. I don't see that in the Christian community even when people are of the same Christian branch. And the only unifying factor of the Atheist community is the hatred of religions - which is not enough to unify the community. I appreciate your content. It proves that there are still billions of sane people around this world.

A few years ago I won in the green card lottery, and followed the procedure until the last month where it was canceled because the Muslim ban by Trump , althought not directly but it was the reason behind the failure of processing my file in my country. I was saddened by this that time because I wasted two years preparing my move.
Now. Al hamd li Allah when hear about what's going on there's i sincerely thank Allah i am still living in my country listening to the adhan right now while writing is a belssing that many Muslims in the west would pay anything to have.

Assalamu alaikum. As someone who's lived outside of their muslim birth country since the beginning, and now 10 years in California (THE heart of Qawm of Lot (AS), you are absolutely lucky. Though Allah SWT is the Guider and He guides whom He wills regardless of their country/environment, it is not easy. Seeing the jahiliyah in EVERY way is very tiresome. And trying to build a life for yourself and become successful, is an even bigger struggle. Alhamdulillah for many things, I should never be ungrateful, but, if it were up to me, I would be planning my move to an Islamic country tonight.

Alhamdulillah I have also stopped listening to Omar suleiman’s lectures. As much as I enjoyed learning more about my religion I was nauseated by the fact that this institution is involved in lgbt campaigning and pagan rituals. I cannot trust anything that comes out of their mouths anymore and I hope with videos like this more Muslims are exposed to Bayan/yaqeen’s corruption. As Muslims we all need to learn our Quran and sunnah so that we are not swayed by deviants of the religion. May Allah guide the Muslim ummah to His way ameen.

The work Danial has done over the years is an Ehsan for today's young parents and generations to come. I wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Yaqeen Institute does so much good for the ummah. Take a look at their Ramadan series and tell me that’s not transformative. Learn your deen enough so you can filter out the bad from the good and you’ll be okay. To completely brand them as deviants further pigeon hole you to gain benefit from anyone. Sh. Umar Suleiman is one of the best lecturers around and his stuff is transformative. I know for sure he does not support Fahsha.

Bayan was at our Masjid in NWA Islamic Center and gave the Kutbah. After the prayer he quickly ran to his collection table but was interrupted by one of the brothers which caused a lot of people to pass by but he did manage to get plenty of donations.
The Holy Quran also speaks in much detail about the hypocrites, whom it refers to as ‘Munafiq’. There is a whole chapter in the Quran that talks about hypocrites.
