I have always hated politics among muslims here in Bangladesh. One of very prominent scholars of Islam in Bangladesh Nurul Islam Farooqi was killed by another muslim group just because they wouldn't agree with him. The long track-record of failed rebellions and harmful civil wars has led latter scholars to achieve consensus on the prohibition of insurrection. Stated Imaam Barbahaaree in Sharh us-Sunnah: "If you find a man making supplication against the ruler, know that he is a person of innovation. If you find a person making supplication for the ruler to be upright, know that he is a person of the Sunnah, if Allaah wills. Fudayl ibn 'Iyaad said, ''If I had an invocation which was to be answered, I would not make it except for the ruler.'' It was said to him, ''O Abu 'Alee, explain that to us,'' he replied, ''If I were to make an invocation for myself, it would not go beyond me. Whereas if I make it for the ruler, he is corrected and through that, the servants and the land are set in order.'' We are ordered to make supplication for them (ie. the rulers) to be upright. When they talked about reforming Islam, a layperson could point to ayah: "And there is no changing in the Words of Allah." Madkhalis cancelled anyone for criticizing rulers by twisting hadiths & ayah, and by throwing big names like Sh.Albani, Bin Baz, Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on all of them). If Lay Muslims dared confront them, madkhalis labelled them "khawarij", "people of hellfire", "kafir"-something that compassionate imams were not able to do. Compassionate Imams could never bring any ayah, hadith or any scholar to support their deviance. That is not to say that they didn't bring any harm. You know brother Daniel, The Salafi movement in the 70s in the Arab World was extremely united and everywhere, ask anyone from Kuwait, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, etc. Other movements used to get jealous of the Salafi unity. In the 90s, everything changed because of this new group called Madkhalis. At that time, they were not exposed. So the Salafi movement suffered big. The unity was completely lost. The Salafi movement became a joke due to its disunity. It was all planned. They saw it coming due to the awakening that happened. So they deployed these disgusting traitors in us. They agree with obedience to rulers - UNLESS it was Erdoğan, Morsi, Imran Khan etc. Remember when their leaders funded the overthrow of Morsi, their Egyptian Salafi groups coming on TV asking Morsi to stand down. I sympathize with your position. For me, this was the only real shubha (doubt) that I ever had in Islam, for which it was difficult to get a straight answer,. This was because of the enormous deluge of Madkhali propaganda that was hiding the real answers provided by the Salaf and Khalaf. The long track-record of failed rebellions and harmful civil wars has led latter scholars to achieve consensus on the prohibition of insurrection. Stated Imaam Barbahaaree in Sharh us-Sunnah: "If you find a man making supplication against the ruler, know that he is a person of innovation. If you find a person making supplication for the ruler to be upright, know that he is a person of the Sunnah, if Allaah wills. Fudayl ibn 'Iyaad said, ''If I had an invocation which was to be answered, I would not make it except for the ruler.'' It was said to him, ''O Abu 'Alee, explain that to us,'' he replied, ''If I were to make an invocation for myself, it would not go beyond me. Whereas if I make it for the ruler, he is corrected and through that, the servants and the land are set in order.'' We are ordered to make supplication for them (ie. the rulers) to be upright. NONE of the hadiths the madkhali mention apply to the current Muslim world rulers. These Hadith are specific to muslim rulers, not western administrators of the muslim world.

It’s been three years since Sheikh Fahd al-Qadi died in Saudi prison due to medical negligence by the authorities.
Sheikh al-Qadi was arrested in 2016 because of a private letter of advice he sent to the Saudi Royal Court in which he described violations committed by the Ministry of Education.
He was known for his work with the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
He was sent to prison because he advised the ruler PRIVATELY! What will Madkhalis say next? Advise the rulers in your hearts and dreams? 🤔

One of very prominent scholars of Islam in Bangladesh Nurul Islam Farooqi was killed by another muslim group just because they wouldn't agree with him. Commoners muslim like me were hurt so much because of this. Why can't we just move on? Are we that blind to not see who is doing the real damage to us Muslims? And this Hadith goes in line with the statement of Sahl ibn Abdillah at tustari Rahimahullah , The wisdom behind these traditions is that violent rebellion, which is civil war, is almost certainly worse than the oppression of any government ruler. The long track-record of failed rebellions and harmful civil wars has led latter scholars to achieve consensus on the prohibition of insurrection. Stated Imaam Barbahaaree in Sharh us-Sunnah: "If you find a man making supplication against the ruler, know that he is a person of innovation. If you find a person making supplication for the ruler to be upright, know that he is a person of the Sunnah, if Allaah wills. Fudayl ibn 'Iyaad said, ''If I had an invocation which was to be answered, I would not make it except for the ruler.'' It was said to him, ''O Abu 'Alee, explain that to us,'' he replied, ''If I were to make an invocation for myself, it would not go beyond me. Whereas if I make it for the ruler, he is corrected and through that, the servants and the land are set in order.'' We are ordered to make supplication for them (ie. the rulers) to be upright. We have not been ordered to make supplication against them, even if they commit tyranny and oppression, since their tyranny and oppression reflect only upon themselves but their rectitude is good for themselves and the Muslims."....................

''If I were to make an invocation for myself, it would not go beyond me. Whereas if I make it for the ruler, he is corrected and through that, the servants and the land are set in order.''
We are ordered to make supplication for them (ie. the rulers) to be upright. We have not been ordered to make supplication against them, even if they commit tyranny and oppression, since their tyranny and oppression reflect only upon themselves but their rectitude is good for themselves and the Muslims."

Madkhalis cancelled anyone for criticizing rulers by twisting hadiths & ayah, and by throwing big names like Sh.Albani, Bin Baz, Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on all of them). If Lay Muslims dared confront them, madkhalis labelled them "khawarij", "people of hellfire", "kafir"-something that compassionate imams were not able to do.
Compassionate Imams could never bring any ayah, hadith or any scholar to support their deviance. That is not to say that they didn't bring any harm.
Moreover, the secularization attempts [you average Muslims should mind only praying aspects of Islam, and let the rulers do whatever they want to do] of madkhalis have had long-standing consequences than any of the deviance of any other groups. Because madkhalis are backed by political powers. Compassionate imams will be able to entrench Muslim societies only after the Madkhalis are successful.

Then he peace be upon him gave the Muslims a method of correcting the ruler: “Rather you should take the ruler by his hand into seclusion and advise him privately. If he accepts the advice, then that is good. If he refuses, then you have fulfilled your duty.” - Sahi Hadeeth reported by Imām Ahmad in al-Musnad 3/403 no. 15369, As-Sunnah of Ibn Abī ‘Āsim 3/102 no. 910.
Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman reported: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, we were living in an evil time and Allah brought us good in which we live now. It was definitely so worth it, for how much it excels MashaAllah! I had left a longer comment under Saajids original video explaining my experiences with Madkhalis when I lived in Saudi because I focused on him explaining the historical back side of it and clearing up a lot of misconceptions for me personally and thought he was just perfectly demonstrating the middle path, but this video now made me realize how easy you can be deceived if you lack of contextual and more in-depth knowledge. I am glad this conversation is taking place, especially considering all these different ideologies that play into it and are threatening the Muslim ummah from now both inside out as well as outside in. Awf ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of your rulers are those whom you love and they love you, who pray for you and you pray for them. The worst of your rulers are those whom you hate and they hate you, whom you curse and they curse you.” It was said, “Shall we confront them with swords?” The Prophet said, “No, as long as they establish prayer among you. And this Hadith goes in line with the statement of Sahl ibn Abdillah at tustari Rahimahullah , The wisdom behind these traditions is that violent rebellion, which is civil war, is almost certainly worse than the oppression of any government ruler. The long track-record of failed rebellions and harmful civil wars has led latter scholars to achieve consensus on the prohibition of insurrection. Stated Imaam Barbahaaree in Sharh us-Sunnah: "If you find a man making supplication against the ruler, know that he is a person of innovation. If you find a person making supplication for the ruler to be upright, know that he is a person of the Sunnah, if Allaah wills. Fudayl ibn 'Iyaad said, ''If I had an invocation which was to be answered, I would not make it except for the ruler.'' It was said to him, ''O Abu 'Alee, explain that to us,'' he replied, ''If I were to make an invocation for myself, it would not go beyond me. Whereas if I make it for the ruler, he is corrected and through that, the servants and the land are set in order.'' We are ordered to make supplication for them (ie. the rulers) to be upright. We have not been ordered to make supplication against them, even if they commit tyranny and oppression, since their tyranny and oppression reflect only upon themselves but their rectitude is good for themselves and the Muslims."....................

I spoke to a revert who almost left Islam because of madkhalis, but then realised there are other Muslims who follow Qur'an&Sunnah without political bias

Then he peace be upon him gave the Muslims a method of correcting the ruler: “Rather you should take the ruler by his hand into seclusion and advise him privately. If he accepts the advice, then that is good. NONE of the hadiths the madkhali mention apply to the current Muslim world rulers. These Hadith are specific to muslim rulers, not western administrators of the muslim world.
Even if they are legit rulers, each one rule small country. Pakistani guy can still criticize Algeria ruler cuz he is not his ruler
