Oh, btw, WD40 not a good idea for electronics but you can your WD40 Contact Cleaner.

I appreciate your input... 1st time... lesson learned.
So my fob went into the hot tub and I didn't realize it was in my bathing suit till 14 hours and was upset. So I took it apart, sprayed with WD 40 to prevent corrosion, blew out with air, worked the buttons, then put isopropyl alycohol to dry and clean it up and blew that out. Let air dry uttside in sun for two days and now it works

Hey Jim, have a look on TH-cam, there’s bound to be a video showing you how to do it properly LOL and you have to use dry rice, no boiled rice or fried rice LOL
I never knew what "WD" meant. Very cool, Jim! That toothbrush will be good as new after a good rinse. LOL What ever happened to good ol' analog keys? Ha ha
They were significantly less expensive to replace, that's for sure!

Well that sucks. Try fiddling with battery. I've seen lousy contacts on those 2032 holders can lead to not working. Also sunbeam 2032s from dollarama have lots of duds.

um... jim, the problem is u did everything right but 1.... wd40. it does displace water but also conducts elect. u shld of used a electronics cleaner that does not conduct elect. other then that u did everything right. oh... the toothbrush was a bit over board but good none the less lol.
We had a friend take his keys into the ocean(saltwater). It had corroded one of the traces on his board. My son reworked the trace with magnet wire and fixed it. Know anyone with a microscope and soldering skills?

The added background music is annoying to listen to while I am trying to follow your dialogue. So I stopped your presentation and, consequently, did not learn anything useful.
Please explain to the viewing audience what value adding background music provides to the video. In my opinion, there is no added value and actually detracts.
