Randomly the error comes keys not detected/press the brake pedal and it wont start. tried all the solutions I could find on the internet. My mechanic also can't understand the issues, he says the car is fine mechanically. I got a remote starter installed 3 months back, everything was working fine till now. What can be the possible issues? Is there a conflict with the car and the remote starter signal, etc? thank you for your help

This video is nice to know I can start with pushing the button but I cannot push the alarm on the key fob to close the door so I suspect it’s a dead battery.
I just won a bet with my boyfriend about this. He swore up and down that I wouldn’t be able to start my car with a dead key fob. Had to tell to close his mouth once the car started 😂😂

Is there anyway to disable the auto-unlock / presence sensor (where you just walk to the car and it unlocks) but still keep the remote working for force un/lock and remote engine-start? Edit: seems there's a Uconnect setting under "doors and locks" and can set the Auto-unlock/ presence/ "easy entry" to turn on or off. That sounds exactly like what I'm looking for.
@@OfficialKeithInTexas looked into the Owner manual and, yes: U connect Setting > Doors and Locks > Passive Entry > On/Off. Definitely better than my plan to basically install a Killswitch under the "Blank Space" on the key fob, lol. Will have to try that out when my order finally comes in.

There's so many to choose from. I would suggest searching for Exaust Addicks here on TH-cam. They have several videos on V6 exaust upgrades so you can hear how they sound.

I would suggest ordering a key fob from Amazon for about 20 bucks. Take it to the dealer and let them program it for around 80-90 bucks. Most CDJR dealers will cut the key for that same price.

i think they gave me the wrong key when i got mine as i cant use my physical key on the lock

Hi there, on mine the alarm goes of when unlocking the door.
Try disconnecting your battery and then connect it back to see if that helps

Maybe. Check the inside of the fob to make sure there's no moisture or no loose connections.

Most of the time there is a key hole under the door handle. Pop off the plastic cover and most likely there's a key hole

If it still doesn't start, that a whole other issue and you will want to get it looked at by your local Dodge dealer
we took the motherboard out of the key fob and pressed the motherboard to the start button and it worked

If all else fails call a car locksmith to make a copy of a new key it'll probably cost $305-$400 at best.

You should get that looked at by Dodge. The purpose of the key is to access the car should the fob go bad.
