Today I visited Matthew Perry’s house in the Pacific Palisades where he unfortunately lost his life in a Jacuzzi. I also went to his final resting place at the forest lawn cemetery Hollywood on the way there. I visit the Famosa café his favorite hang out, and I also showed the Warner Bros. Studios where they filmed the successful television show France. - บันเทิง
if you listen to the audio book it will give you more insight of his journey then just reading the book. Hearing the emotion in his voice is very powerful. May he rest in peace free from his internal struggles and may he be able to help many lives with this book as a voice from the beyond.❤🩹🙏🍁 Much respect! R.I.P. Matthew

Totally agree. His was my first audiobook ( you can find a free recoding here with his own voice ( there are others with robotic voices). I listened to the over 8 hrs in one shot) I truly recommend the experience. It is as if he’s talking from the beyond as he says. Quite overwhelming not just for die hard fans ( I was not one of them) but for those who suffered from neglect, achieved goals and were still not happy, and of course, a must-read for addicts. Thank you for your coverage as so many are exploiting this tragic event on TH-cam just rehashing and stealing from original videos.
May Matthew rest in peace. He has and will help others with this book, over and above the fun many of us had watching Friends. Peace and love!! 🙏
Yes why I’m choosing to listen to his reading. I get a much better understanding that way. I live alone and it’s completely silent as I listen to his voice tell his story.
Yes, that's what I did, listened to the audio book. I cried & laughed.....I knew watching "Friends" back in the day by his weight & looks changing so drastically. But, he was my fav "friend." Thee funniest, for sure. 👍

Thank you for this video and for speaking beautifully about the good he did in his life ❤ Friends truly got me through some dark times in my life. That show always kept me company, and i laugh out loud no matter what episode i watch. He will be missed by so many. Chandler, Ross, and Phoebe were the funniest for me. I have to tell you, I have seen a lot of videos on Matthew since his passing. I leave some of the videos because their subject is lying , and it's more or less a duplicate of other videos. Just wanting you to watch their Channel. But, yes, I knew mostly what you told us, but you put your emotions into your Videos and did a phenomenal job on it!!! I'm saving your Video!!! If they would have had someone else play Chandler (Jon Cryer or John Favreau-both of whom auditioned for Chandler), it may have still been a good show. However, Matthew Perry made the role of Chandler an iconic role. He was awesome in it and made the show so great.

When the news broke, I immediately thought of you knowing you were still in Germany. I was sure you would make this video when you returned - and you see, you’ve only been back a few days, and you made this happen. Thanks for doing something that would have probably been meaningful to Matt. All he wanted was to help others, and now you’ve used his name to hopefully help others by extension. Thanks for making such a tasteful memorial to him and letting us all have the chance to appreciate his struggle instead of most media that covered his death for the wrong reasons.

He seemed to be pretty happy at the end. He downsized to a smaller home (by his standards), was exercising, meeting friends (he was just visiting with one at the Hotel Bel-Air and another at Apple Pan), seemingly sober, excited about future projects, and was responsible with his money...he was set up to live a peaceful life. I wish he got a chance to do that.
And unfortunately was still getting high 😔
When he passed you were out of the country just as you were when Betty White passed away, but when you got back you made a beautiful video in her honor and I hoped you would do the same for Mathew Perry and you didn't disappoint!! I enjoyed the information you shared it was informative, thoughtful and respectful..

I want to say Thank you GIV for being respectful of and about Matthew. I recently got his book but I have not been able to bring myself to start reading it yet. There have only been two death's that have shocked me, Matthew's and Paul Walker's. It still does not feel like Matthew is no longer here. My ❤ breaks for his family and friends. Matthew is deeply loved and sorely missed. Rest in heaven Matty. The Friends theme song hits differently now. 😭😭💔
It's been a few months now. I can relate.....Matty was my childhood crush ever since I saw him on "Growing Pains" & "Charles In Charge." He was an amazing talent, so witty, handsome, & charming. THAT smile 😁 lit up every room he walked into. THOSE eyez were mesmerizing! 👁️👁️ His book is amazing, especially on audio! I cried reading it bc I've been an addict for 25 yrs, I totally related to his addiction, rehab stints, & feelings surrounding addiction. 😢😢💔💔 Miss you Matty!

I had a friend very similar. He died at 49 recently. He was completely self destructive. Excessive drinking, smoking, terrible fast food & take out diet. These were his daily life. He tried sometimes to get healthy but always gave up.
He never thought it would kill him so young. His good friends tried to advise him. But he shut us out.
It's never too late to improve your nutrition. Learn about balanced meals & suppliments. Loads of great, reasonably priced, organic powdered veggies & roots out there you can take with water & gulp back.
Even if finances are a struggle. There are ways today to keep healthier.
Reduced fresh food on sell by dates in supermarkets are always worth a look too.

Thank you for this video. I have been crying and am deeply pained about his passing. I had just gotten his book recently, and that made his passing even more surreal to me. It is odd just how hard this is hitting me, but Friends felt like “home” for me. I have watched every episode at least 10 times. It’s so interesting to see how many others are like myself that find comfort in the show. Many of us felt like we knew them. My heart aches, and I feel so terribly for his family and friends…along with all of us fans. He is finally at peace and no longer in pain…

This was a beautiful video GIV. You spoke so beautifully of Matthew Perry , and brought light to his struggle . I used to drink quite a bit years ago and a health scare caused me to change all that and I am thankful I survived it .
I grew up watching Friends, and Chandler was always my favorite character on the show. I remember watching his interview with Diane Sawyer later on in his life, and I was so happy that he was able to still be with us after everything he had been through in terms of his addiction struggles. I was devastated over his passing. He seemed like such a kind, relatable and funny guy. He will always be a legend in my eyes and in the eyes of so many more people. Rest in peace Matthew, you are so loved 💜
Matthew Perry was burning the candle at both ends and by the time he realised he's lifestyle was killing him it caught up to him and his heart gave in.
Please learn from Matthew that you don't need drugs to enjoy your life R.I.P.

I read his book when it came out, and just finished rereading it again. Matty and I had a few things in common, we were/are both addicts. I have 5 1/2 years of sobriety myself. I loved him for his humor and for his faults. He was one of the good ones. RIP, Matty.

Money just helps with the things you want and give you freedom to do things, but I do not think it makes you happy. I also believe the rich and famous are lonely and that can make you reach for drugs and alcohol. I am sad for Matthew Perry and his family. May he RIP. Thank you for making this video.

Many rich and famous stars are owned and have to tow the line. If they don't their wealth will be ripped away. There is some truth to them "selling their soul to the devil." That is why they are afraid to die.

My wife and I visited Matthew about a week ago when I found out his burial location. The missus was and is a big fan of Friends.
For me, Matthew's passing is a reminder that life is short and to enjoy it, even the mundane moments, because most moments are mundane.
I think Friends will be one of those shows that people will still be watching in fifty years, like I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, and others. It will be seen not only be seen as a time capsule of the late 1990s and early twenty first century, but as an exceptional example of an ensemble cast in an American situation comedy.

Great tribute video in memory of Matthew Perry. You always speak well in a balanced, honest, caring manner. Mathew was living on borrowed time, since he knows he should have died the night he was put on the breathing machine. He had 18 months to release his book and reconnect with the public again, and help many people in a short time, and his book and legacy will live on to help more people and entertain.
Trauma is everywhere and in everyone, to varying degrees. What early life trauma does to your fragile self-image, self-esteem, is decimating to your psyche, deeply damaging and can take a lifetime to get well or good enough. This is why the siren song of drugs is so attractive to those in deep emotional pain. If your hand was constantly on fire, you would constantly stick it into a bucket of water, its that same logical response, to the traumatized addict.

Mike, this was great. Very respectful. Thank you for this. Matthew Perry should have lived a lot longer. You can have it all, and feel empty if you are struggling with addiction. It is a disease. I feel that he had a lot of darkness inside. I wish he could have dealt with it differently. You handled this just right.

Mike, this video really moved me on a personal level. Touched something inside me, spoke to me, whatever you wanna call it. It felt like you were being really open and honest, and that resonates with me. I too have always been a deep thinker and I often have existential thoughts, similar thoughts to those you mentioned, and I feel like we have a similar mindset. You have done a great respectful heartfelt piece of video here on the late Mr Perry. FRIENDS he starred in got me through some hard lonely times in my life at the time. It was massive here in England in the UK. All 6 of the stars of that fantastic show were brilliant but Joey & Monica were my 2 favourites.

Probably the best video I’ve seen on this man’s death! I, like you, couldn’t believe he’s passed from this life. Thank you for showing his house, his view down the street, and his grave.
My personal thoughts are- if a prayer to God got you your request for fame, why not pray for the things that matter- like being healed from the void he indicated, like real love and a family…. Like peace and healing. God obviously granted the request for fame… why not ask for the real things.

I was shocked as well hearing about his addiction to alcohol and hearing he was drunk at times when filming scenes on the set of friends. Growing up this was one of my favorite shows to watch. I still watch reruns but now it’s so different seeing him on screen knowing now what he was going through. Such a sad story. RIP 🙏
